Worst Mediterranean food I've ever had with some of the worst customer service as a side. The guy at the counter was friendly and helpful. It was all downhill after that. Undercooked chicken kebab, veggies sitting in a puddle of oil, and two long hairs in my dessert. My husband managed to flag down the manager and showed him the nearly raw chicken. He took it back and returned about 10 minutes later--each piece cut into quarters and thrown back on the grill. For the $40 we spent, we got maybe $5 worth in the rice and free pita. A complete ripoff without a hint of an apology or any real attempt to make it right. My family lived in the Mediterranean region and we had the opportunity to try a number of the various Middle Eastern cuisines. Some were better than others, obviously, but each had at least a couple of really good dishes. Then again, none of the restaurants served the meat undercooked! My last few visits have been disappointing, unfortunately as I've been a fan for a while. Placed a takeout order, and showed up at the correct time. The cashier couldn't find the order, then when she did it took almost 30 minutes as they had not even started assembling/cooking. The restaurant was not busy, and I patiently waited while no one updated me as to the status until I asked. Another person waiting asked me if he was in the right location, as they couldn't locate his order either. The food was good, but I ordered chicken curry and they gave me 6 small pieces, in a sea of curry. Definitely not worth what they are charging. Last time I went, the gyros was burnt, and I only received tiny trimmings. I think it's time to explore other options. read more

I had high hopes for Fadi's but everything was subpar to me. It was very confusing going for the first time as nothing is explained or clearly written out. We went down the cafeteria line and by the time we got to the end it was nearly $90 for 2 people. We didn't know that they charge per item so that was a shock. My husband order gyro when we first started in the line and we received a number and were told 15-20 minutes for it. The lady serving our food was extremely rude and had a horrible attitude. It was as if she didn't want to serve us but that's her job so it's not like it was our fault that she has to scoop the items for us. She ended up skipping us when we got to the entrees and then asked if we needed something rudely when we patiently waited for her to come back. The food was good, I've had a lot of great Mediterranean food and this was about average. We finished all of our meals and still hadn't received our gyro after about 30 minutes. I had watched the ladies bring out plate after plate and we were the only people in the dining room that still had a number. I went to the cash register to ask for a status on it and once again was met by someone who seemed annoyed to have a customer in front of them. She told me a few more minutes which ended up being another 10 minutes. So we waited about 40 minutes for gyro while everyone else in the dining room had been served even if they came long after us. After we boxed up the gyro I went to get a rice pudding and was met again by the first rude lady who was clearly irritated by me asking for one because she rolled her eyes and silently handed it to me with a blank face. Between the outrageous pricing, the rude workers, the long wait with no apology, and the food being meh I would much rather go to Dimassi's. The workers at Dimassi's are kind, patient, and happy. The food is much better and the pricing is actually reasonable for what it is. read more

Great clean lighted atmosphere. Variety of healthy options. Each side can be split to 2 different ones. So a plate of 3 sides lets you try 6 sides and you will want to with all the options. Ordered their beef kabob plate via Lunchdrop and while not bad it was nothing special. A few roasted veggies, the beef and rice. I got their hot sauce to go on it and if I didn't their rice would have had zero flavor. I would order from them again, I would just find something else that might of made my taste buds a little more happy than what I had. read more

This is the first time I've been to the Katy Fadi's, but like in Sugar Land, the food is just wonderful. I had salmon with basmati rice, Greek salad, and the Fadi's hummus. There is nothing that you can buy in the store that replicates the Fadi's hummus. I could easily make a meal out of several types of their hummus. I really liked the look at feel of this Fadi's. It's newer and more modern looking than their Sugar Land restaurant. And I think it is quite a bit newer. Like the Sugar Land locations, the service is mediocre. Nothing terrible, but you need to go into this place because of the food, not the people serving it. read more

This has been my worst experience at Fadis. Very disorganized and can't answer any questions. I asked what my sons pizza kids meal came with and the answer was just listing all the available kids meals. Then we waited in excess of 20 minutes before asking why my kids meal was taking so long. The kitchen never received the order. My son was starving! I was disappointed no one was trying to keep tabs on tables with markers still waiting for plates for excessive amounts of time. Food is always great, staff and management are welcoming and friendly. Would keep going back to this location. Only reason for 4 starts is sometimes it takes very long to clear tables after guests have left. Not a nice sight to have next to you as you are having your meal. read more

The food has good flavor. Served hot, even when delivered. Nice selection to choose from. I would give 5 stars if the side portions were a little more generous for the price. I very small Greek salad cost over $5. (Little steep for a side compared to other restaurants) I'll go back but most likely dine in where the portions are a little bigger. read more

One of the most anticipated openings ever! We have been going to the one in Meyerland, so now that I'm living in Katy, I'm happy that we have one closer to home. The vibe inside is definitely cool, and something I like to dub "upscale cafeteria" which is only suiting because we are in the 'burbs.. Racist/favoritism. Seem as if they give complimentary teas only to their own kind. Witness them doing this three (3) times at one visit. Definitely my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Katy. This new location is extremely nice with a very rustic modern feel. Friendly staff and great food makes it worth coming to. Ordered a lamb kabob. My wife ordered beef kabob. When it was delivered to our table, I asked the server, "Is this lamb or beef." her reply was, "I no speak english." Knowing a bit of Castillan spanish, I asked, "Que es rez?" Her answer was, "Yo no se!" Then, my wife went to the counter herself to ask which was the lamb and which was the beef. It her a so long for her to get someone to tell us which is which. In view of this, I told them to please get me the manger. When the manager came, I told him our problem. To my dismay, he simply told me that he was sorry and it's okay. It's okay? C'mon! Give me a break! Is that all you can say after you put your server and her customer in that state? Anyway, the reason why we tried the place is to see if it is a nice place to bring my entire family for our Sunday evening family dinner. But because of this, excuse me! I come to Fadi's pretty frequently because it's right around the corner from my house. I always get the falafel plate or the veggie plate. Normally I get half sides of everything so I can get hummus and a variety of salads. Today I decided to get 2 half salads, 1 full salad and a full rice. The server put both half salads in the container with 3 compartments and my full salad in the small clear container. I reminded him that I wanted a full salad because the small container is for half servings. He said he was told to put the full salads in the half serving container. When he gave me the rice he put it in the large clear container. I asked how is the full rice in the larger container but the full salad is in the smaller container and he said he was told to put them in the containers that way. When I got to the cashier who looked like he could have been the manager I asked him the same question. He said rice is cheap so we give you more rice. I showed him the 2 salads in the compartment container and said these are half but they have the same amount as the salad in this small container. He said well that's how we do it. I was pretty shocked that he could see that this was clearly half a serving and not full but still didn't do anything about it. For the most part I like Fadi's but I warn you, do not let them put your full salad in a separate container because you will get half a serving and not full. If I have to come back here I'll continue to get half servings of salads so I get what I'm paying for and not less. The picture shows my 2 half servings and my full serving salad( I put it in this container to show how much they are trying to get over on people). Sadly the Lebanese salad was suppose to be the full serving but it fit in the smaller section of the container. read more

This location is modern compared to the classic decor of the older Fadis but it is good too. If you are a vegetarian please come to Fadis and try the food, you will not be disappointed. I personally recommend the baba ganoush and any of the hummus options, and ALL of the salads are delicious. read more

Lovely decor. Brightly lit and clean, but be ready for cold kebabs. I was there last night with a group of girls, and when my plate of kebabs arrived, I felt that they were sitting out for a good 10-15'mins before they arrived at my table.
