Fair Oaks Burger not only has incredible food, they also have an incredible atmosphere. The people behind he counter make you feel like family and you can tell that there are tons of "regulars". My fiancé has the veggie burger, and it was amazing. I had spicy chicken chow mein which was incredible. It's also a ton of food. After I ate half of it I weighed it at home on my food scale. But I was wrong, I actually really liked it here. It isn't terribly big inside but its nice and open with low counters so you can see all the food as its being cooked. The menu is ginormous, an eclectic mix of American Mexican and Chinese food. Want a pancake and eggs but also could go for some shrimp chowmein? You don't have to go to two places when you're here. I had the Fair Oaks Burger which is a burger with Cheese, Avacado, Teriyaki sauce and Bacon (held the jalapenos). Like Steph L. mentioned, the bacon here is amazing. Crispy but not thin, with a wavy texture that looks even better than their professional photo of the burger. You can also eat outside. Drive Tru is available. SERVICE: 5 Stars = Service is good. The waiting time when you order is just normal because once you order, that's the only time they cook your food which means it's really fresh not like other fast food chains they just re-heat your food. I had been looking for a cheap, tasty, burger place near our house and found Fair Oaks Burgers. Wow! I was thrilled to find a nice, clean little burger joint, with friendly staff and quick service. I was even more surprised when I got home and took a bite of my bacon avocado burger. It was fantastic! The bacon was crispy, the avocado was fresh, and the beef patty was thick. It was one of the best burgers I have had. The chili fries were also on par with the burger. The chili itself is one of the tastiest I have had the pleasure of trying. The portion was large, so I could only eat about a fourth of the fries, but am looking forward to finishing them tomorrow. Needless to say, I will be going back again to try everything on their menu. For a casual neighborhood burger joint, I have to imagine this place is as good as it gets. Strictly taking the food into account, I love this place. Their chili cheese fries are really good. I think it's their chili that sets it apart. Very flavorful. I also tried their Fair Oaks Burger and found it to be quite satisfying. It's basically a large burger with fresh ingredients, thousand island sauce, mayo, avocado, bacon and cheese. It's not the best burger I've ever had, but it's definitely not bad. Also, they have a very good vibe going inside the place. The lady behind the counter is really friendly. Even though the environment inside the restaurant isn't very impressive, they have some real energy going on and it just feels like a nice place. I look forward to trying more items from their menu.
