ABS and Check Engine light suddenly came on ahead of the 4th of July weekend. We plans in place I swung over to Jiffy Lube, as a loyal returning customer. I arrived with about 6 cars ahead of me. Gip and his team were quick to check in with me and get cars through their service. I was in the shop less than 20 mins. They'd mentioned the performance package which ultimately will help protect the engine, and the oil last longer. We changed the air filter as well. These services I was made aware of helped me feel more secure about the condition of our 24 year old car. We call our senior car "Big Bertha" and these guys take care of her every time! Wow! Definitely a 5-star experience here at Fairfield Jiffy Lube. The whole staff was ready to go when I pulled up in my minivan. Terry checked me in initially and explained the service. Then I went into the waiting room until the work was completed. I saw Terry, Francisco and Gip checking things out, cleaning, making sure all the work was being done. I learned Mike was the one who had done my oil change. Overall, I didn't have to wait long at all and everything feels as though it was thoroughly checked. I went here over the weekend and they were about 30 minutes from closing. I came for an oil change. They did an amazing job! They offered things like free air in my tires which I have been needing. They even offered to fix a lightbulb from a previous accident for decent price. When they couldn't they took it off my bill. They went above and beyond. I will be coming back! I've seen different staff come in and out throughout the years, and in my personal experience, they have all provided impeccable customer service. I had a car service this morning and had to come back and update my review. I feel like, for the most part, Jiffy knows how to hire and train. Any issues or concerns, recommendations/suggestions regarding my vehicle(s) have been honest and right on point (compared to the dealerships). I will ALWAYS bring my car here! First of all they are courteous and helpful. They always explain everything they are doing. They show me what needs replacing and then do a great job! BUT! What sold me was that I had gone to another shop previously because of a coupon and after I was done with the oil change, the oil change light kept coming back on. I tried resetting it, but it kept coming back on after a few seconds. I called this place I had gone to, and told them about it. They told me to bring my car back in, so I did. They checked all the fluid levels to make sure that there was oil, etc. It still kept coming on! So now I'm thinking oh great. I've got some kind of electrical issue which I would have to take care of at the dealership. That was going to cost me at$$$$, because it costs a fortune to go to the dealership! Well, I came into Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed because it was time. After they were done, they walked me out to my car, open the door for me, closed it. I started the car and the engine light was off. I waited a few seconds because I had been used to the light coming on, and it never did! I drove home. It still did not come on. This morning I started the car and still no oil change light--so clearly whatever this other oil change place did was wrong! Clearly they do not know how to change oil! I will never go to them again. To his credit, he personally oversaw the correction of the issues noted and gave me a coupon for a free service, the next time I needed one, explaining that he was new and having some issues with correcting bad habits permitted by his predecessor. When I came back for my free service, the next time, I had no issues. I can't say that I had a good experience with this business, but they are clearly aware of the problem and seem to be moving in the right direction. read more

I have only been to Jiffy Lubes since I've gotten my car. Usually at different locations and this one is by far the worst and most unprofessional. They broke my drain plug and had to get a new one at a dealership. Okay, it happens. But then a young lady came and said, "uhhh they will be right back. Did any one update you? No? Well the drain plug broke and they need to get a new one. Sorry, we will give you coupons at the end and make up for it." Okay awesome, coupons would be nice since it was taking an extra long time and no one updated us expect this nice woman. At the end a man was doing my check out and I ask about the coupons and he said "uhhhhh" then left and didn't come back. When we left to go get out car he said, "have a good day! Thanks for coming!" Bad news guys. They don't do free top off anymore. If your car has not been seen by them within last 400 days they will charge a fee for checking oil, water, tire pressure etc. The staff were friendly & helpful but say this is a company policy now & I said it would cost them a 20 year customer. There is ONE guy, the guy with all of the tattoos who is absolutely incredible, nice guy, knows his stuff and works hard and pretty quick... I am so disappointed with this jiffy lube. First I was told it would only be 15-20 minutes and then someone would call me. Never received a call. Went inside to pay and get my car and there was one person asleep in the office room but no one at the front desk to pay. After getting inpatient I went to the garage and got someone. Then they had the nerve to say "we cleaned your windows, vacuumed your floor and changed your oil" well that's hard to believe when I stepped in my car and saw this. Not very reassuring that they even changed my oil. Save the headache and go somewhere else. read more

After hearing noise on my brakes I stopped here for my oil change, tire rotation and brake inspection. I specifically told them about the noise. When checking out I was told that my brakes looked fine. It turned out that only the outside pads were inspected and in fact the inside pads were way past their life. My expectation based on the description on the website of a brake inspection when doing the tire rotation would have been included all the brake pads and both sides of the rotor. With the cost of an oil change at a dealership now even less expensive than the Jiffy Lube price I don't see any reason to continue coming to Jiffy Lube. read more

Today I called into Jiffy Lube and was greeted with professionalism and overall great phone skills by the person on the other end of the phone. I drove in to drop off my used motor oil only and to my surprise I was greeted by an employee of Jiffy Lube named Brian who treated me as if I was spending money there. I can't tell you how nice it is as a previous business owner to have customer service that is thriving. Who ever the manager is this person knocked it out of the park. Zero stars. The 1 time I decided to bring my Mercedes into a jiffy lube for an oil change. I've always go through our mechanic. It was the last time this Mercedes will receive an oil change because Jiffy lube on Holiday destroyed my engine. Now I have to take legal action. This location is chaotic and unorganized. Very inefficient. When I arrived, there were 2 vehicles ahead of me: one in the bay and one waiting for a tire check only. It took 45 min for me to leave. Much of that time, *both* bays were empty. The other bay was empty with 2 vehicles waiting when I arrived. During this time, most of the staff was standing around waiting for vehicles to be checked in and brought into a bay, so they could work. After my van was finally done... It sat in front for at least 5 min before I went out to find out what the delay was. I stood by my van for a few minutes before somebody asked, "Do you want to check out?" "Yes." Um... Duh. "Somebody wants to check out!" I'm very confused... Why wasn't this automatic when my van was done? It's not like requesting the check at a restaurant. There were no vehicles in either bay. Another few minutes pass and they finally check me out. Also... Bathroom was out of toilet paper, not flushed, with urine on the seat. I'm used to Oil Changers. I recently moved and there isn't one nearby. Maybe I'm spoiled? Oil Changers run like... a well oiled machine. And they even clean my windows. read more
