The La Paradiso sandwich with mortadella, stracciatella, and pistachios...God's creation!!So when I heard they were coming to NYC, I was SO excited. Okay... it was good, but it was not Italy good. My focaccia didn't taste as fresh, and my sandwich felt rushed;like it wasn't made with love. It still tasted good, but it was definitely not the same magical experience as that first bite I had in Rome. The lemon drink definitely get it. And as a yuuuge pistachio fan, that cream is delightful, especially coupled with that creamy stracciatella. Super well-composed sandwich, amazing bread, quality ingredients...a hit! Made it a combo with a drink and chips. More than acceptable and was prepared correctly. Staff was ok and I had my meal pretty quickly. Jersey Mike's is nothing fancy in an area where you can get sandwiches and lunch at many places, but it does the job at a reasonable price.

Both came with a spring roll and my boyfriend opted for pork fried rice. I'm not trying to diss Miami but we don't exactly have good Chinese food down here.
