Wow! I mean wow!!!! I loved breakfast this morning. I had a spicy California bowl and i HIGHLY recommend the bowls. They come in a taco shell which I don't eat but the hollandaise drizzle was amazing with the crispiest cut potatoes, perfectly scrambled eggs, guacamole, cheese and pepper all in perfect amounts. My husband had the steak and cheese omelet and elaborately told me it was "tasty". He ate it all in five minutes. Everything is extremely fresh which also meant it took a little longer than normal. Know that it is CASH ONLY. i think they have an atm onsite for convenience but there is a fee. Every dish that comes out looks amazing and they have an expertise in jerk chicken. Chatham Sunrise is such a charming little breakfast spot. The whole place feel relaxed and comfortable. Amber was our server and she was wonderfully friendly -- definitely someone who enjoys chatting with her guests in the best way. We both started with coffee, and for breakfast I ordered the berry pancakes. They came loaded with blueberries and strawberries inside the pancakes, plus extra berries and whipped cream on top. Absolutely delicious. The portion was huge -- three large pancakes -- and I could only make it through one, so the rest are coming home for Mother's Day brunch. My husband had the western omelette with home fries and raisin toast. He really enjoyed his meal and only left a few potatoes behind. Everything was fresh, hearty, and cooked well. read more

Really tasty! Open earlier than most other places, which is great for the early crowd. Our little ones (1 and 3) LOVED the Mickey pancakes, and the kid's platter was a great deal. Lobster Benedict and grits were great. Owner chatted with us for a bit and was kind and gracious. Very reasonable prices. read more

Stumbled upon this place after trying somewhere else with over an hour wait. DEFINITELY a hidden gem!!! There was one server for the entire restaurant, but she did a great job and was super nice and attentive. Everyone was very happy with their entrees and I think they were reasonably priced for the area. For the 6 of us it ended up being $100 (with no drinks). I ordered the lobster benedict and it was very tasty. There was a generous amount of lobster, as well as hollandaise sauce. We loved this place! The dining area was light and airy, the food was simple and well prepared. I had the eggs & toast while my partner had the clam chowder. Neither was fancy, but both were excellent. The server was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. We'll certainly stop in again when we're in need of a simple breakfast or lunch. We did not eat here so I can't review the Food. -we waited 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge our table - the table we sat at was dirty - when we finally got the attention of the server for coffee, the coffee served was terrible tasting. - we waited another 15 minutes without any server taking our order so we left. I know that finding help is very hard right now but these people were not only bad at their jobs, they were unpleasant and weren't welcoming in any way. read more

Ok pretty much sums it up. Our food was okay. The tuna melt was not what I expected from a melt - tuna on a bun with cheese melted on top. The two breakfast items at our table were fine. Problem really was with the server. She did not seem like she wanted to be there, or to be waiting on us - no welcoming smile or warmth at all. We waited for a table in silence (no indication of how long, or any "thanks for waiting"), had to ask for water twice, brought a drink one person in our group considered ordering but then changed to something else (so he got them both). There's a large outdoor dining area but it was not offered as an option. A little customer service/hospitality would definitely make a difference. Don't think we'll go back - there are much better options in Chatham. read more

Chatham Sunrise is a welcome addition to town. The food is top-notch and the staff warm and friendly. My wife and I have eaten here several times and each time leave glad that we came. I particularly like their pancakes and omelets, but everything is carefully prepared and tasty. To top it off, the prices are reasonable.
