Given we found this place along a highway during a treacherous drive back from Montauk after a rainy and cold Fourth of July weekend, I didn't think it was at all bad. They were able to seat us immediately at an outdoor table and the menu is large and flexible with substitutions. They were very nice about that (eg "if you don't see something you like, just tell us what you want and we can make it"). Luckily, we all found something on the menu to order. Everything is about twice as expensive as it should be for diner-style breakfast food, but that's the Hamptons...and it's still cheap comparatively. What should have been a $9 eggs and pancakes breakfast was maybe $15, but still...for filling, yummy food in the Hamptons that's tough to beat. Coffee was good although they could have been faster with refills for sure. Server was extremely sweet and helpful. read more

Stopped here on our way out of montauk. Absolutely adorable. We sat at the low top bar and it was so homey. I ordered the East Hampton omelet and it was perfectly cooked to how I ordered it. The place is perfectly placed on the golf course which made for some scenic views! Our waiter was very attentive. I would definitely make this a stop if you're looking for some great home cooked food. Don't listen to the bad reviews, they are 100% wrong. read more

We had a reservation at the nearby winery and this was the only spot that didn't have a wait. Food isn't amazing, and all substitutions are an additional charge. If you want an English muffin, $1 extra. Egg whites? $1 extra. Maple syrup? Extra. Service is alright, took a while to get a refill on water, and when I got one the server held my glass by the top of the glass (I did not have a straw). My young wife and I were celebrating our 29th anniversary and this place was perfect for a morning after Montauk breakfast. Best Place for a good old fashion not too expensive breakfast. A traditional counter top and circular table seating area. Service is GREAT. Friendly, attentive staff. OPEN YEAR ROUND AND EARLY to beat the crowd if you choose to. Have eaten outside before in the summer and what fun. Not too many options for food on the road leading to Montauk, and we happened to pick this one essentially based on proximity. We were driving in from Brookhaven, and this wasn't too far away - we were both super surprised to see that this place is on a golf course! We weren't sure if we were allowed to go since we weren't club members, but it seems to be open to the public to eat. We went in around 10 am on a Sunday morning, and were seated immediately. We quickly decided on our food (a couple of hot coffees, a mushroom-asparagus omelette with home fries for me, and a continental breakfast of eggs, bacon, and pancakes for him) and ordered pretty quickly. The food didn't come out super fast (we finished our first cups of coffee before it came out, but the pricing was solid for the amount of food given! I loved my asparagus and mushroom omelette, the flavors molded together so well and the smells decadent. Though I don't see myself going into Montauk for a good while, I would be open to coming here again and playing a few rounds while I'm at it! read more

This place if truly a diamond in the rough. The owner is super sweet and the food always comes out fast. If you go on a regular basis the staff will make a point to remember you by name, and what you like to eat. They've been bringing me my cup of coffee before I even have a chance to ask for it anymore. The open kitchen lets you interact with the cooks so it really feels like a family experience. Breakfast all day? I think yes! Fresh sausage patties made to order on the charcoal grill are a must with fresh blueberry pancakes. The burgers are fresh chop meat from the butcher and HUGE. They have a beautiful view of the golf course to the North and Sagaponak farm land to the South. It's really a feel good place where you can go to get away or sit at the bar and meet someone new. Went for the first time as locals. Pancakes and bacon were raw and cold. And for 12.50 they weren't big and fluffy. More like rubbery. Our omelettes were way over done as well. Although the owner who was very nice took the pancakes off. It still ended up costing 40 bucks for two omelets, side of bacon and two coffees. Needless to say they are getting the two stars for the scenery and the nice owner.
