Why offer so many flavors if you don't get a choice? I called again the next day and thankfully got a different worker who shared my confusion with me about the first worker. They wrote down my order (I got 4 different flavors) and I was set to pick up. The day I picked up my cupcakes, I noticed they looked different from the online pictures (but whatever, they still looked cute). I also noticed they gave me a wrong flavor (I ordered chocolate whiskey and they gave me caramel something instead). I made the mistake known to the cashier but she looked so confused and said "yeah.. thats the chocolate whiskey" which it clearly wasn't because there was caramel slathered on top and did not match the online description and the in person display. I showed the cashier the description and referenced the in person display and the cashier still seemed confused and said "yeah... thats the chocolate whiskey. What would you like me to do?" And I had to spell it out for her and say "take these caramel ones out and replace them with the ones I ordered" and had to point and all and the cashier just said "oh okay." It was super weird and frustrating. Anyways, taste wise- the alcohol infused cupcakes don't really have a flavor of alcohol and the batter kind of tastes like the box mix. Super strange experience for mid to below mid tasting cupcakes.

People raved about the strawberry cheesecake. I was asked by multiple people where I got these cupcakes from. I had the chance to sample both, and honestly the triple chocolate was delicious as well. The cake is moist, the frosting buttery and not super sweet. I can see why the strawberry cheesecake was the star of the show among the parents, though. As for customer service - great! Cupcake ready when promised. Larry helped me carry my order to the car, and gave me good instructions on care and transport. I would order from him again for any event.

Each chose their special drink from about 50 types of tea, including herbal and chai. Served in antique looking ceramic tea pots, each a different one! My choice was Strawberry Shortcake tea, a gentile berry taste. There were pink heart shape sugar cubes in tiny bowls with tiny gold ones to serve one lump or too. Honey and sweetener are available too. Everyone had their table set with individual china cups and matching saucer, plus treats plate. Gold serviceware wrapped in pink napkins. Flowers on the wall and at the tables. This is the best party I've ever had! Now about the food. Excellent. Elegantly presented on three-tiered china plate serving trays. Delicious tea sandwiches - cut in dainty triangles - and my favorite - cucumber sandwich! Don't forget about the delectable traditional tea sweets, pretty and perfectly prepared. Miniature cookies, scones, plus bites of cheesecake, blueberry crumble, brownie, and more. There is pink cream cheese , preserves, and "clotted' cream too. Party all inclusive packages are about $45 per person - BUT- there are individual items too, reasonably priced for an afternoon with a friend. Of course, I couldn't leave without grabbing a dozen guava cheese pastries because... priorities. They are a 10/10 every single time. And the Milk & Berries Cake? Absolutely delicious, as always! While we were waiting in line, my mom and I decided to treat ourselves to a dulce de leche latte and a vanilla latte, and WOW. The coffee was fantastic! I also have to give Porto's major credit for how incredibly organized everything is. Yes, there are ALWAYS a ton of people, but somehow they keep everything flowing and moving so efficiently. This really fit the "woke up on the wrong side of the bed" vibe that we all tend to joke with our friends and family lol. Whew. Understood it's never personal, as we're all strangers, but those hostile, uninviting, bad energy really rubs off on people. Came in for a birthday cake 2 weeks ago and this came bagged up at the order pick up station; the same birthday cake I got today for another loved one didn't come bagged, so after the gal who took my order left for the next guest, I asked the cashier (she had on a different color shirt) for the very big bags they have and yep, same no energy, no smiles vibe. Management, please look out for your team, or find ways to relocate non-customer service people into departments where they don't have to deal with people/face to face interactions. I'm surprised they don't have self ordering kiosks, that'd help a lot of "stressed" employees who don't have the capacity to provide basic customer service and to alleviate a lot of uncomfortable, hostile interactions. Porto's is great- food, pastries, and cakes hardly ever miss. It's always the human interaction part that really messes it up for companies of all sorts.
