They began with a vehicle inspection that rivaled the ones at the BMW dealer: thorough, sent pictures of issues, showed what needed immediate attention and what could wait, etc. No pressure was applied to have more work done, and the job was done two hours faster than I expected. This was my first experience, and I went to the East Mesa location, which Faith Works had just taken over from the previous owner. The appearance could use some upgrading - and probably will receive some - but the experience could not have been better. Had work done on my Jeep and paid around $1,500, and honestly I regret trusting this shop. They installed a no-name, low-quality battery in a vehicle that is known to be very sensitive to battery quality and reserve capacity. These cheaper batteries often have thin internal plates and poor reserve power, which in hot climates like ours leads to premature failure, and that's exactly what happened. That battery lasted only about 6 months before needing replacement, then again around 9 months later it failed again, causing additional electrical and transmission-related issues due to inconsistent power delivery. I later took the Jeep to another mechanic up the road, and they immediately pointed out the battery as the problem and explained that this vehicle requires a proper, high-quality battery, not an off-brand, entry-level unit. So in less than 2 years, I ended up replacing the battery three times and spending another $230 just to correct what should have been done properly in the first place. This has cost me far more time, money, and stress than it ever should have. I feel like I was overcharged for work that did not prioritize quality parts or long-term reliability. As someone else put it... faith? Yeah--faith in the almighty dollar, not in doing the job right. read more

Took vehicle to East main location. $120 just to start. Vehicle ran good when I took it in. They said they replaced a vacuum hose , cleaned the mass air flow sensor. It ran fine for a few days. Had it towed today because it hardly ran. Inspection said I need new motor mounts. 2nd opinion said I do not but I could use a new muffler and added coolant. Bottom line is after two encounters with Faith, I have no trust. The estimate for the motor mounts was over $1000, 2nd opinion if I needed them was half that. Just saying. Perhaps the "Faith" name offers trust. In the humble opinion of 85 year old dude who has been around cars a long time it definitely does not. read more

Please be warned. I've been taking my vehicles to this garage for five years and have spent thousands of dollars in repairs. Unfortunately, this past year they've made many mistakes with my vehicle, causing additional damage. Asking for more and more money to fix the damage. I finally took the vehicle to an old school mechanic who diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes. If the technicians had diagnosed my vehicle properly, it would've saved me close to $4000. I will never return to this establishment and neither will the multiple family members and friends that I've sent there. They have a salesman as their service writer now. My husband took my car in for a slow leak, was told by them that I need a new radiator with video of pressure test and fluid was leaking out. They told us it was going to be $1,100 to replace then told us to round up the price to $1,200 because it was actually $1,199. Paid $75 for the diagnostic test, left and they didn't refill the fluids nor did they tell me there was none so I could do it myself, found out on my way home when my vehicle overheated (it has never over heated before this) Took it somewhere else for a second opinion because it just didn't seem right and was told by the second place that my radiator did not need to be replaced. I stopped at Faith Works for a check engine light. i was quoted $160 to plug in a computer and read a code. I left and went a couple miles to Global Auto and the problem was diagnosed and i was told I needed a $12 GAS CAP by a Armenian legal immigrant who I asked why there was no charge and was told that he wanted to earn my business in the future. I've gotten many oil changes here, routine filter changes, and even had my axels replaces all without a problem however when my lights were malfuntioning they told me I needed to replace th entire electrical system which was close to $1000. I definitely should have gotten a second opinion however I trusted them and just wanted the problem fixed. The problem persisted so I ended up getting a second opinion and it turns out it was a simple wiring issue that would take like 5 minutes to fix and free of cost? HUGE shout-out to the team at Faith Works Automotive!! Yesterday, after telling me what I expected, that the fuel pump needed replacing, I authorized the work to be done. This morning I received a call from the Manager (John) telling me that his tech did a 2nd diagnostic prior to starting the work and found that it was not the fuel pump. It was the control module. I have been to Faith Works a few times now. I have always felt like I was given fair prices and never felt like they were trying to swindle me just because I don't know about cars. The customer service was very responsible and informative and great with all of the questions that I had. The inspection report was comprehensive and they went over every part on the phone with me, being honest about what it a high priority fix and gave me estimates for not only the current repairs but the big problems they forsee happening soon. I brought my car in months back for an AC fix when it stopped blowing completely and received repairs on it. The AC then began blowing only hot air recently and I was able to get a quick appointment. It was a completely different part of the system they had to replace which they were very patient in explaining to me because I was confused as I had thought they had just fixed it a few months go. Great job! I recently took my 4Runner in for an oil change, which I have on many occasions. A day later I noticed oil on my garage floor. After contacting them, they said bring in, they will fix it( it was a"pinched" gasket) Shortly after parked my car in the garage it starting dripping oil again, again I took it back for a new gasket. The third time back it needed a new part and was finally fixed. The staff at Faith Automotive was courteous and professional, they did the right thing and made the repair at no cost. I own a vehicle that requires parts of the dashboard to be removed to access the engine bay....one of the techs there broke a piece off my dashboard while putting it back together. Lied to my face about it like I don't drive the vehicle everyday lol. Carlos is his name....gave me some BS disclaimer about not being liable for broken interior parts...weeks later, I purchased a replacement dash piece and installed it in 20 minutes without any damages. Leads me to believe the tech didn't take his time....I have zero mechanical experience I might add. If you own a similar vehicle with the same features, you might want to remove them before you leave the car there. Before I used Yelp, I used Google reviews and ratings to find places that were good to go to. I was looking for a mechanic and found another company (that I won't name) who did work on my car for me, but they didn't do things they charged me for and it was completely a mess. I finally found Faith Works Automotive and I knew that they would be my saving grace. I booked a appointment over the phone and I believe it was Jason I spoke with. Super nice and helpful. When I arrived the lot was a bit full which was nice. I walked in and there were a couple employee's sitting there, they gave me a weird look and left the office back to the garage. I thought it was a bit weird but I didn't think there was any malice behind it. They were very polite, listened to the things I need such as a oil change and a couple other maintenance things like the water pump and timing belt. Promptly called me back and quoted me the price. It was VERY reasonable and they had it done for me same day. If you are looking for a quality mechanic go here. I would still go here if I didn't have a new modified car that needs specific attention. read more

For now 4 stars simply because I have been here just the one time. However, as a single female with limited car know-how (SOME, but not a ton), I hate going to auto shops simply because more often than not they see me and apparently think, "She doesn't know anything, let's see what else we can sell her." I have to spend time repeating myself that I only want an oil change (or what-have-you), and I just generally feel like they are trying to take advantage. After reading Google reviews I decided to go to Faith Works, and I'm so glad I did! I made my appointment and when I came in I asked roughly how long it would take because I had another appointment that day, and they completed the oil change very quickly--about 30 minutes, maybe 40 tops. Fair pricing, and nobody bothered me to try to convince me to get something else! Anyone I interacted with was polite and respectful. I will certainly return for future oil changes or necessary repairs, and if my other visits go like this one I will definitely change to a 5 star rating! read more

I went by their shop the other day because something felt weird with what I thought was my transmission. I had called and Josh said they were quite busy but I could bring it by and he would check it out. I was there for about a half hour or so. He took it for a test drive and felt what I had been concerned about, hooked it up to the machine to see if there were any pending alerts that hadn't turned a check light on yet and cleared something out (I don't really know the details). Whatever he cleared out made it so that car is working perfectly fine now and he didn't even charge me for his time spent. I will definitely go back there with my future car repair/maintenance needs. All I can say is that I now live in AJ and will make the (aprox 15 mile) trek to go to these guys because they really DO care. Before I moved, I could walk to their shop in just a few min. Their SUPER helpful customer service goes beyond just customer service, they make you feel like a friend. And that makes all the difference. Their work is top notch. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. I even texted them one day and while the others that I reached out to (because I am WAY out here now) all wanted me to bring it in so they could "look at it" (my car), and wouldn't know until then (bring them in, and run the repair issues WAY up), these guys actually tried to help me out. WHO DOES THAT !?!?! I'll tell ya, The folks at Faith Works Auto, that's who !! ( I know, sounds like a cheesy commercial line lol) But it is true. While the price may be high (mainly because I am broke, so anything is high) the cost of NOT going to them is even higher. The difference between Cheap, and inexpensive. Cheap is just that, CHEAP. While inexpensive may cost a bit more, you wont be going back because of the CHEAP way things were done. (hope that makes sense). In short, if you need good work done, at a reasonable price, and want to feel like you belong there in the first place. Then you have no other choice. Don't be a fool, and don't be fooled. Just take your car to them, and KNOW things will be done, done right, and NOT cost you more than is needed to do the job right, once, and nothing more. My car was shaking upon acceleration and I took it here to be inspected. Jon was the one helping me and he was kind and courteous. When I contacted them for scheduling they were able to get me in the same day. Once the issue was figured out, he and I did a walk around my vehicle so he could explain and show me exactly what was going on. I really appreciated the transparency and explanation. (Not knowing one thing about cars). This is a place that I know I can trust!! Turns out that I have bad tires, which weren't noticeable upon initial inspection. It was an internal issue, even though the tread looked decent and I still was within the mileage warranty. I Just got them all replaced today at the tire shop. Tire shop confirmed what Jon told me. The front guy was very rude but treated the next customer different. Left the door open and smelt like oil leaving. And the other guy quoted me 89 dollars. While the next day I came in, the other guy said 200 when I told him clear about the part that needed fix. Also he said 100 dollars for labor. went in at 3:30 was out by 4:38 but timed me at 1.60 hours. They never changed my power steering fluid was very black, didn't bleed my power steer right, and four days later my rack and Pinion gave out. I had to replace my water pump (again) and my rack and pinion the mechanic who re fixed it said they messed up so I lost out on 200 dollars and a water pump. Wish I could get a hold of the person who Owes the place. read more

Do not place your trust in this business. Eventhough, they seem faith based, they will rip you off. They did more harm than good to my car. I had to pay another shop to fix the original problem in addition to repairing what they messed up. When I pay "trained mechanics" to work on my car, I expect them to "be trained and know what they are doing". The reocurring theme from complaints I've read, all start off with a dollar amount of $1,000 charges for repairs. Please don't take your cars or trucks to this repair shop. I am so glad we found Faith Works! I have been a satisfied customer for over a year and I appreciate their honesty and kindness. The last time I was there I was getting my Toyota Camry diagnosed when my son called and said he was in a car accident about 1/2 mile away from Faith Works. I needed to go by my house to get an extra set of keys for his car then run over to the scene of the accident. Been coming here for years and had work done on three different cars My last experience with Your shop wasn't satisfactory. I brought my car in with a specific issue that cost me $670 to fix but yet I am still experiencing the same issue. I brought my car back and they looked it over again and said "we found the issue" and it will cost me $600 to fix. Apparently I have a cracked radiator and what they fixed wasn't the issue.
