I appreciate their effort. In the end despite attempts, it was easier for them to refund me for my dolly, which is what we ultimately agreed upon. Great service! This company is hard working, experienced and efficient at a reasonable price. We had (2) movers show up on time and it took about 6 hours to move from a 1 Bedroom Apartment to a Single Family Home across San Francisco. It would have taken 4 but our house was on a very narrow street so the guys had to wheel all our boxes/furniture down one block to our house. Just a heads up - there is a language barrier and the movers speak very strong Mandarin and little English. I called the business number to confirm our appointment and received a text message back in full Chinese. Luckily my fiance speaks Mandarin, so he was able to communicate with them but I was not able to get any traction in that department. Also, be vigilant of your quoted price, as they did try to barter at the end for a higher compensation. Other than that we were very happy with our service and would use them again. read more

There were no issues with our items & it was especially helpful that there was still plenty of space in their truck for our king size bed frame to fit without dissembling it. Amazing service, end to end. We were in a bad spot because California Exodus Moving took our deposit, did not show up on the day indicated, and showed up one day later with a Uhaul and no packing supplies. They started packing terribly (carboard box with no cushion or blanket for TVs and they would not give us more than the $0.60 a pound for insurance. Given the lack of reliability and terrible packing we got a really bad feeling and told them to leave. We contacted Faithful moving. They showed up the next day, and worked incredibly fast and incredibly thoughtfully. Nothing broke on a 2,000+ mile journey. They arrived in Houston from the Bay Area 3 days later and did an incredible job. I have moved multiple times. This was one of the bad experiences I have had. Couple of things to highlight 1) We moved from 2B2B to 3B3B - It took two people 8 HOURS. They charged us $90 per hour and $10 tip which we found out later $10 per person who is fine. 2) We had minimal stuff. Furniture included - Sofa, side tables, 2 desk 2 chairs, 4 seater dinning table. 2 cots ( which went through fine without disassembling). Mind you no dressers or other furnitures like bar cabinets, book cases etc. 3) we had packed everything, nothing was left out for the movers to pack and spend time on. They broke a big storage box of kitchen items which they gave us the money for but however they made it up by being extremely inefficient and slow 4) We had so less stuff and it took 8 hours felt like they were trying to attract people for less money and take more at the end by being inefficient in doing the work quicker rather than being slow. They were late by an hour 10 mins to move. So definitely not on time. I wouldn't recommend. Rather go with people who charge and provide the quality of service. This is not for someone who would like to waste your time and also pay for that time which you know could be done in 4 hours. I felt cheated with the way this business runs. read more

One star is TOO generous for this moving company. They're horrible. Not only are they inexperienced, incompetent, unprofessional, disorganized, and lazy, they actually STOLE from us and "misplaced" boxes, including one that had important documents and credit cards. They also delivered a box of someone else's stuff. Someone is missing part of their sofa! The move- they tried to tell us 2 people were enough to move a 2 bedroom but Having used movers before, I knew 3 would be best and had to argue for a 3rd mover. We were told it would take about 3-4 hours to complete the move. Now, this didn't sound right to us and we estimated closer to 5 with travel time. It took them well over 8 hours and they STILL DIDNT GET THE JOB DONE! They arrived an hour LATE and kept telling us we had too much stuff and they couldn't take it all in one trip. Ummm no, their truck was bigger than the one that was used when we moved into our apartment. They were unprepared and kept asking us for food and beverages. Seriously?! we're moving! We don't have dishes to provide you with something to drink and it's not our job to feed you! Since they were too incompetent to know what to do to get things loaded into the truck, we provided clear instructions on what to take first. We asked that they ensure all of our furniture be loaded and then go from there. The younger man nodded and said something to the 2 older men, and then proceeded to take small boxes and items that we told them not to worry about. Additionally, they didn't bring tools to take apart the kitchen table, bed frame etc. and we're asking us to prop them. I feel it's also important to note that they didn't know how to take the furniture apart AND lost pieces of hardware. Now, we spent a few hours before they arrived, moving more than half of our stuff to the hallway to save time and so that they could easily load the truck. It boggles my mind how we can do almost half the work and they still took half a day to move us They finally load the truck- which was NOT full, and refused to get anymore of our items. They must have made a stop on the way to our new home because they arrived about 45 minutes after we got there. By the time they arrived it was pitch black and we were beyond angry and frustrated. We just wanted to be done with these Incompetent men. We asked them to bring all the furniture inside and just put the boxes in the garage. Did they listen? NOPE! They brought the boxes in and put furniture in the garage. They REFUSED to bring in the sofa and recliner and didn't put the kitchen table or our beds back together. After an hit of unloading, guess who asks for something to drink? Yep, they expected us to provide beverages! I could go on with more examples of how horrible this company is, but I'll end by saying- even after spending a fortune for their half-ass service, we still has to rent a uhaul to complete the move. We had to put our own furniture together. We had to move a garage full of boxes into our home, and we had to spend time and money to replace documents and credit cards that were stolen. OH! AND THEY RAN OUT OF GAS AT OUR NEW HOME AND HAD TO HAVE SOMEONE BRING A GAS CAN. THEN THAT PERSON DIDN'T BRING ENOUGH TO GET THE TRUCK STARTED SO THEY HAD TO GO BACK TO THE GAS STATION TO FILL UP THE GAS CAN AGAIN! Soooo not exaggerating their incompetence! I tried extremely hard to resolve any issues with Rebecca and Jacky before writing this review because I don't believe in trashing companies, especially one from immigrant families who I do believe are trying their best, but they just don't get it. The positives are when they are here, snd during the times they are jot bartering, they work hard. Sometimes... But almost everything else is in disarray or needs improvement. And be wary of this company that doesn't want to resolve issues or don't ever believe they are wrong. Run by a 14 year old, Jacky, who is the only person in the company who can communicate well but spends most of his days in school (obviously). Rebecca, his mother, tries to communicate with most of the conversations surrounding bartering up the initial low quote that they use to reel customers in. Ultimately, the game-plan is usually the same. She usually begins every job with "this is too much - I need more money" and ends with her shouting ferociously for more payment. Greedy, money-hungry, having a terrible attitude, shouting at customers, poor communication and treating their party of workers poorly are reasons to stay away from these amateurs. They also packed things so poorly, many expensive items broke during the move. read more

I highly recommend faithful moving since they have helped me move 2 times in the last few weeks (one time for me within the bay, and one time for my fiancé who moved across the country). What I really like about them is their responsive communication and willingness to listen to feedback and take action on it. The first time I moved with them I gave some feedback regarding the mover efficiency and they immediately issued me a partial refund to properly justify the cost. And the second time I move with them, I could see the great improvement on mover efficiency and they moved everything way faster than expected. They also provided great flexibility to accommodate my schedule since we weren't sure when my fiancé would arrive, but they made it work perfectly as the movers arrived right when our truck parked. Overall a good experience and appreciate the hustle both of the movers showed. Nothing damaged or broken in the process and they wrapped everything professionally. Showed up 90min later than what we had booked weeks ago, seems like they're still working out the time management / logistics angle as a new company. That being when does moving ever go exactly to plan. Overall they spent 6hrs and 2 trips, including moving our chicken coop in their truck on the last load. Their truck couldn't get up our tight driveway, but no complaints and they hauled our furniture and boxes up from the street. I would have loved to give these guys a higher rating because they really were very friendly. But unfortunately there were just too many fails. - First, they wanted to come two hours later than originally scheduled, which would not have worked because we have a baby who needed to nap at a certain time. They did end up coming at the originally scheduled time. - they were supposed to arrive with wardrobe boxes to hang clothes in. They arrived with wardrobe boxes that did not have any bar inside to hang clothes on. - they decided to call a 3rd person over to "make it go faster," but it still took them 7 hours (when they quoted 4 or 5 with only two workers). I noticed this third person just standing around a lot, not doing anything at all. Besides drinking Coke. - I thought it was a joke at first, but they started carrying things in one by one- very light things, like a single baby changing pad, to take longer and increase their pay. - at least one of the movers kept smoking IN the back of the truck while moving things, and all of my stuff smelled like smoke from it. - I noticed them wrapping things that absolutely did not need to be wrapped (like a sealed plastic bin) to increase time and pay. - they also tried taking apart some things that didn't need to be taken apart - overall they were just extremely extremely slow and inefficient. I really could not believe how slow they were. My last move with another company was a 4 bedroom house (this was only moving to a 2 bedroom apartment) and it only took 4 hours total. - the total cost was double what they said it would be in their original quote Save yourself the stress of watching the clock tick by for hours while they carry one hanger at a time, and choose another company. read more

In general I had a good experience with this company. It was obvious that all three movers were trying their best in the job. They continuously were pacing themselves to help me finish moving which I appreciated. Although there was a language barrier and there were times of confusion and where I was getting a little frustrated, everything was solved in the end of the day. I mean what move is super easy anyhow. I also had a piece of furniture I forgot to tell them to move as I said it was just going to be trashed. But the next morning I realized it wasn't and the owner was willing to help me move it the next morning. Overall, it might be a hassle to work with them but there are also positivities. The business owner is very accommodating and flexible and gave me many time slots to select from. They text me to confirm all the details, time, location, pricing and respond very quickly if you have any question or concerns. The movers are very professional. They packed and moved pianos with care, as if it is their own. The projects was planned to be an hour, and the whole moving takes about 50 minutes to finish. In addition, there is not a single penny hidden fee, all I paid is the moving fee initially quoted and paid the two careful movers tips. I wanted to give a good review or at least a decent one since this is a new business, but so many things went wrong. I was quoted 3 hours for 2 movers ~$300 which was fine. But they arrived 40 minutes late and only told us they would be late at 3PM which was our appointment time. They did wrap our furniture in plastic wrap, but they also took apart our small wooden table that extends to hold leaves which didn't need to be taken apart. I've moved it myself with another person multiple times, but they spent a whole extra hour taking it apart and putting it back together which we were charged for. It seemed like he took it apart but forgot how to put it back together because they were literally sitting in the dining room yelling for at least 30 minutes over it. The younger of the two movers was polite and helped us translate since some of the movers don't speak english. However, the other mover was yelling in chinese, kicked our boxes around, dragged furniture across the floor and up the stairs. He kept yelling at the other employee which made me and my boyfriend very uncomfortable. At the end of the move, they quoted us 4 hours (which 1 of those was spent on 1 table) and $60 traveling fee, and tip. We paid through venmo and gave them what I felt was a generous $20 tip considering my furniture is scratched and I was already paying an extra $80 for something that they did unnecessarily. After receiving the payment the boss and one of the workers said that it wasn't enough tip and that they would either take the table apart again? or take it away? (the translator didn't know what he was saying) or not leave until we paid more tip. I was actually scared because the owner and worker were yelling over the phone at each other for such a long time. And even when we stated we were uncomfortable and if they could leave our home, they refused and kept yelling at each other. I was seriously about to call security or the police because they would not leave. Eventually someone from the company called me over the phone and after I told them what happened, they said the company would pay the movers the tips instead which got them to leave. I would have been glad to pay more tip if the movers actually moved our stuff properly. However there are gashes in my desk, fragments of wood from our table, and who knows what else was scratched. We bothered both our old and new neighbors with how loud the furniture was being handled. Also, I actually had to help them move a lot of the furniture up 2 flights of stairs to my new apartment because they were taking so long, it would have been an extra 2 hours to finish. TLDR; Not only did we have to move some furniture ourselves, the stuff that they did move was mishandled and damaged. They basically threatened us for more tip and would not leave our place after we already paid the full amount for service with "tip". Would not recommend, just pay the extra to go with a more professional service. read more
