Service by the guy that was attending wasn't the greatest. He gave me a ticket number that normally they keep on the kitchen and he gave it to me. I asked him a couple minutes later do you have a copy of this ticket number to make sure they can start working on my order and he replied really rude, what do you want? The wait itself was frustrating, but the real issue was the woman taking orders. She genuinely didn't care. I understand burnout - I worked in the food industry, so I get how exhausting customer facing jobs can be. But it was NOT busy. She was not overwhelmed with customers or orders. She was just standing there on her phone, completely disengaged. At one point she put her headphones in and was talking on them while people in the kitchen were making orders. There were at least 4 orders sitting on the counter behind her, and she never checked once. There were only 2 of us and one other customer standing there waiting, clearly confused, for over 30 minutes. She even started getting ready to leave as if it was totally normal that people were still standing there waiting for food. No communication. No checking. No sense of responsibility. You could tell the kitchen staff was annoyed too because she was doing absolutely nothing. When we finally asked for a refund, she offered a whole pizza instead. For what? To wait another 30+ minutes? With conference traffic from Moscone Center and movie nights this place could be making money, but somehow it takes over 30 min for a mini pizza with 0 customer awareness. Never again. read more

Honestly one of the best spots I've come across in San Francisco. The pizza here is something else fresh dough, great toppings, and you can customize it exactly how you want. The tiramisu at the end was the perfect finish. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience feel welcoming from the moment I walked in. I came to Fresca Garden Pizza and bought a combo pizza, and I specifically asked the cashier if the fountain drink was refillable before buying it. He said yes, so I purchased the medium fountain drink separately with the intention of sharing it with my friend while we ate our combo pizza. When I went to fill up the drink, every single option at the soda machine was completely flat. I let the cashier know, and instead of trying to fix the issue or offering a helpful solution, he gave me attitude and just tried to replace it with a bottled soda. The bottle only filled my medium cup halfway. I calmly explained that it wasn't enough because I bought a refillable drink based on what he told me, and it was supposed to be for both me and my friend. Instead of understanding, I got more attitude. He insisted it was a "one-time thing," even though the flat soda wasn't my fault and the half cup wasn't what I paid for or intended. A simple issue turned into a frustrating interaction, and the customer service was really disappointing. I hope they fix the soda machine and handle situations like this better in the future. read more

Omg. What a terrible place. For starters, this place is a joke. The guy at the register is ridiculously weird and rude. That's besides the point. But that may have contributed to the outcome of this horrible place so I'm mentioning it here. We got a side of falafel with humus and a chicken shawarma. Instead of 6, we got 5 tinies falafels I've ever seen in my life and no humus! The taste of them were ok. The chicken shawarma must have been a vegetarian dish as there was basically no meat in it. The first dark-haired, male cashier was pleasant but the other older, taller male cashier (could be the owner - the way he was acting and talking to his staff) was soooooo rude. As a Vegetarian, finding a good pizza place with tasty options can be a challenge. Fresca garden not only met my expectations but exceeded them. I was surprised to find out they have some 5-6 varieties in vegetarian pizzas which is pretty hard to find. I tried their Veggie Lovers pizza and absolutely loved it. The staff was also very knowledgeable about their menu and helped me pick the pizza after knowing my preferences. From this experience, I'm sure I'll be visiting them again soon with my vegan gang to try other Veggie options. read more

An amazing gem in the Metreon! I ordered the Mediterranean Pizza with chicken and it was awesome. Perfect crust from a very hot oven. The chicken topping was fresh pulled, rare to find. Owner was a great guy and I can't recommend this place highly enough. A few local beers in bottle and I only saw Bud on draft. We wanted to find a pizza by the slice place and ended up here. We ended up ordering two 1/2 cheese pizzas (yes I realize that's one whole pizza but the kids ended up being hungrier than we thought) and they were dramatically different. One had very little cheese. You could see spots where there was no cheese. The second one we ordered was fully covered in cheese, the way you'd expect it. They were made by 2 different people so maybe that was the problem but so strange as to the discrepancy. On a side note, the crust was bland but it works for a food court pizza for kids. My date was coming from the East Bay, and was running really late. So I decided to eat at Fresca Garden while I waited for him. It's typical mall food. I got a Caesar chicken salad. It wasn't bad, nor was it spectacular. Just an average salad. Since it's inside The Metreon, there's tons of seating. And there's a few seats specifically patrons fenced in near the register. The gentleman who took my order was nice. It was a short interaction, but I can at least say he was friendly and quick to ring me up. The salad wasn't too long of wait. Unlike my date who showed up 5minutes into a movie he had already seen and didn't tell me... And if you're curious, there was so second date. There's a lot of options to eat at The Metreon, but this is the only place that offers pizza. Prices are typical.. so if your really craving pizza I guess you don't have a choice but to eat here. But if you want a salad, there is another choice. But the other choice is also mall food, so it's really just deciding how far you want to walk depending where you are inside. read more

The portion was huge for $4.99 but also very very cheesy, salty and not fully heated up (waited for 5 minutes). My order also came with a soft drink! A good value for the app but I probably would not go back just a very generic quick restaurant there are better options in the area. They work with a App called Allset ( not a good App) But not very well at all.... For example today; I ordered a "Cobb Salad" for lunch with the App, ( I am doing production on a Show at The Moscone Center West) ... across the street from the Metreon Center * where the Food-Court is - that their restaurant is in. I ordered the Salad, (the App has a slow timeline that is supposed to tell you -your order is in progress ... than about 15 minutes later it says " your order is ready for pick-up" ( your money at that time has been taken out of your bank)... I walk across the street to pick-up my order..... The food-court is full of people, as I get near to the " Fresca Garden " I see that at "the restaurant" is completely shut down -dark -no lights , no people, and the Workers next-door say ; they haven't seen anyone there for a while !?!?! (and it's the height of the lunch-hour rush !! ...see photo) . So the fact that some computerized algorithm that says ; it's taking your order, and it's ready ?? is a bit disconcerting... No signs, or explanation at the restaurant !! - just total darkness , and it's obviously that nobody was filling orders. For now, my rating is 3 stars, but with that being said, I will definitely give them another try. I ordered my "unlimited topping" pizza ($13) and was told I can only get up to 6 toppings. That is a bit strange, but it was okay, b/c initially I only ordered 6. You have a sauce option of tomato or pesto. I ordered tomato sauce and 6 toppings. Apparently there was some miscommunication b/c when I started eating my pizza I noticed there were no olives and then I noticed that there were tomatoes. So I guess they gave me tomatoes as one of the toppings and decided not to put on the olives. Minor setback, but a little disappointing b/c olives can dramatically change the flavor of a pizza and I really like them. I also got a fresh pressed juice because my body needed the fruits and veggies and b/c I had a restaurant.com certificate and I needed to spend $20 to use the certificate. I will say that using the certificate was quick and painless and that was a huge plus as sometimes it can be difficult to use. There was absolutely no pushback. I believe the owner was there and helped facilitate the transaction as the cashier had never done one before. The food was a great value with the certificate and it got me to come in and try the food. Without the certificate the total would have been $25 or $26 and I don't think that would have been very good value. The pizza was fresh and was made right on the spot. I like the cheese they used and the presentation of the pizza was excellent. They loaded the pizza with toppings, but didn't overload it. I liked all of the flavors of the pizza except I didn't particularly care for the sausage and will probably choose something else next time. It was horrible, just not to my liking, you might like it, it depends on your tastes. The crust was good but nothing spectacular. The pizza was cooked well and boxed up for me to take to go. I had the Autumn Energy juice ($6)(carrot, apple , beet, and ginger) and it was tasty and colorful, definitely fresh. I'm not sure of the exact size, but it seemed like about 12 oz. maybe more? Excellent, quick and speedy service since I was second person there for dinner. Everything in Meteron is like so expensive! This was reasonable and I wasn't very hungry, so I order a half cheese pizza and waited under 8 minutes. The 3 piece pizza visually not pretty. But after I took my first bite on the thin crust pizza, it has a nice strong tomato flavor. The sauce makes or breaks a pizza and sauce was good and I enjoyed it.
