I was craving Mediterranean food, but wanted to try a different restaurant than the ones I usually frequent, so I decided to give Falafel Corner a try. The food was OK. The fries were cold and stale. Taking my first bite into them, it was clear that the fries were sitting around for quite some time. The gyro had potential. They did give quite a bit of meat with my order; however, I wasn't a big fan of the seasoning(s) that they used. Overall, my first dining experience with this Falafel Corner was underwhelming. I'm not sure if I'd try their food again.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the Gyro. Nice portions. Ample protein and I love the added lettuce for texture and crunch. The sauce was flavorful and so were the protein bites. The breading was soft and made for a good lunch option. Their hummus is extra tasty and very smooth in texture. I enjoyed my first trip to the location. Ample parking and ample indoor seating. Great service, clean location.

Firstly, I've had many things from this restaurant and everything has been delicious. I appreciate that it's Halal because we do not eat pork and I don't like going places where I can't choose anything on the menu. This time we had the gangster burger, consisting of two patties, two pieces of cheese, beef, bacon, and a fried egg with thousand island on brioche type bun. We also had a basket of curly fries. A side of falafel and hummus as well as a Gyro wrap and a Greek salad. Everything is so fresh. This place is a much try Anyone looking for good Mediterranean food at a good price should stop by falafel corner. This will be our fourth time coming here in just under two weeks. The food is great. The people serving are very sweet and I'm sure they could really use your business.

Some of the best Mediterranean food I've had. They don't have many customers so please come out and support. They are very friendly, food is a good amount and the flavor is amazing ! So glad I found this place, my new go to. Everything was a 10/10.

    Loaded fries. Yummy

Willing to give tastes, answering questions, making modifications. Like onion on the side. And half rice half salad. Come check it out! They have been here 8 months. Yes the fries were cold but there was so much yummy toppings the fries were just a vehicle for the other topping. Hopefully both pictures get posted. Had falafel bowl. Hubby had gyros wrap. No onions

Awesome restaurant!!! The folks here love what they do! If you're looking for great mediterranean food, this is the place! Reasonable priced entrees that's worth every cent. Located near the Fairfield Raley's shopping center on Travis rd. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Gyro wrap was the perfect meal for lunch.

The Chicken and Gyros combo is my recommendation, although the falafel was also good.

I had ordered Greek Covered fries. I only got three boxes of plain fries. Their dolmas though are good. I'm disappointed about the fries.

Okay, so I'm not really a fan of Mediterranean food. But…read more.. The mac n cheese with bacon here is delicious! And the Greek fries? Yum! They have things my vegetarian significant other likes, too, so win-win. Add good cocktails and friendly service, and you have one of my favorite downtown Napa dining spots. Nice outdoor dining or inside dining. Your choice!

this review was deleted, so wrong! do better tarla…read more I honestly cannot believe I am writing this because this experience was so outrageous that it sounds made up. My mother went to Tarla yesterday with her best friend and ordered a couple of appetizers, which they actually enjoyed. Unfortunately, things took a very different turn when she ordered the crab sandwich and it came out with a brown color to it. When she took a bite, the taste was so awful that she immediately rejected it and could not swallow it. She politely brought this to the server's attention because she genuinely thought there might be something wrong with the food. The server responded with something along the lines of, "Hold onto your pants," and walked away. About 15 minutes later, the cook/chef came over. What happened next was completely unacceptable. Instead of simply listening to my mother's concern, the cook became extremely upset and began raising her voice loud enough for everyone to hear at my mother in front of the entire restaurant. She told my mother that "younger people know this kind of food, but older people world not" (blatantly calling her old multiple times) What makes that statement even more ridiculous is that my mother has 45 YEARS of experience working in the restaurant industry and managing restaurants in Napa Valley. She understands food, restaurants, and restaurant operations extremely well. My sister also worked at this restaurant as a server for quite a long time, so our family is very familiar with the restaurant and the industry. We are not people who walk into a restaurant looking for something to complain about. My mother calmly asked what exactly she supposedly "didn't understand ". The cook then explained that the crab was pasteurized. When my mother said "so it's cooked?" , she said yes and then proceeded to tell her that the crab came from a can. "We just opened up a new can, nothing is wrong" Again, the issue was never that the crab was canned or pasteurized. If that is how the restaurant chooses to prepare and serve its food, that is their choice. The issue was that my mother took one bite, became sick from the taste, and politely asked about it. She deserved to have her concern heard without being belittled. By the end of the interaction, my mother said the entire restaurant was staring at them. She felt completely humiliated and was made to feel as though she was stupid and simply didn't understand what she was talking about. She absolutely understands what she was talking about. After 45 years in the restaurant business, being publicly spoken down to and made to feel ignorant about food by someone who was supposed to be addressing a customer's concern is incredibly disrespectful. The appetizers were good, but no food is worth being treated this way. A customer should be able to say, "Something tastes wrong to me," without being embarrassed in front of an entire dining room. This wasn't about the crab. It was about basic respect and how a customer was treated when she raised a legitimate concern. I'm sharing this here because Tarla is a local Napa restaurant, and I genuinely want to know if anyone else has experienced something similar there. I'm not posting this to start drama or attack anyone; I'm posting it because I truly believe customers deserve to be treated with basic respect, especially when they calmly bring a legitimate concern to a restaurant's attention.
