Stopped by after a hike around the river, and it was a great choice! The burger was delicious juicy and flavorful. The fries were a bit overdone, but still edible. The staff was super friendly, and the menu had an impressive variety of options. Definitely a nice spot to grab a bite! There was a lot of seating around the establishment and snacks available next door with some souvenirs available to purchase.

Falls Market in Ohiopyle gets super busy on beautiful summer days with bicyclists, white water rafters, tourists, and others enjoying the beauty of Ohiopyle State Park and the surrounding area. In the heart of it all is Falls Market. I went inside to the main dining area but it was way too crowded and noisy, so I went to the outside patio area which was much better. Here, I had open air with a good view. They had run out of menus but they had a nice area serving hot dogs, so I had one of them with onions, mustard, and ketchup which had a good, tasty hot fog flavor. What I liked best, however, was the fun outdoor atmosphere of the place. It was both refreshing and relaxing.

Killers wraps. A bit pricy but a nice portion. Club with Turkey and Bacon $14 (10/2023) Order at the window and eat outside in a covered area. Right next to the foot/bike bridge over the water.

Spent a long weekend in Ohiopyle and this was the first and only place we stopped in for meals at. The proximity to the river, the bridge, and the visitor center was perfect and allowed us to enjoy the views will we munched on burgers night one and pizza night two! The wait for food wasn't too long which is great considering we were traveling with two under two! The staff were friendly, the food was fresh, and the music/radio was cranking some classic alternative rock tunes that I really dug. Prices were fair for the amount of food provided and we'd certainly come back on our next Ohiopyle expedition

In Ohiopyle for the weekend and ended up eating here twice. Not so much by choice, but it wasn't a bad choice either. We had hoped to try another restaurant but it was closed for a wedding. Falls Market is part of a convenience store. Lots of seating both inside and outside. It is right across the street from Ohiopyle falls and very busy! The service is pretty fast though! I got a burger the first night and a pulled pork sandwich the second night. We got a small pizza for our toddler and the second night my husband shared a regular size pizza with our son. They also had a high chair behind the counter for our son to use, we just had to ask. The food was pretty good, but felt expensive. What I didn't realize was that dipping sauces were $1.50 extra and I got several to go with our meals. Oops! Overall a good experience.

We stopped in here after hiking the Ferncliff Peninsula to get some drinks, snacks and a spot of internet service to call home and check in. Quaint little shop with an old timey feel, attached to an eatery. You'll find a little bit of everything here. From sodas to sweatshirts, snacks and gifts. They also have free wifi, in this technology barren area.

Had breakfast here while in Ohiopyle last week. Tried to go to the bakery and sandwich shop but their posted hours were wrong (went there for lunch and didn't like it). Falls Market is half restaurant, half convenient store. They didn't have a ton of breakfast options, but I got a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and turkey sausage in rye bread and it came with hash browns for $7 which I thought was a deal. Sandwich was quick and staff was friendly. They have napkins, forks, and mayo and mustard outside on a cart which I was able to easily grab as I left.

My brother and I were looking for somewhere to grab lunch after finishing up a quick overnight backpacking trip on the Laurel Highlands trail. After walking the few little streets of Ohiopyle and weighing our 2 other options, we settled on Falls Market. We felt it was a bit pricey for being a counter service place, but I guess that's a result of being one of the few dining options in the area. Service was fast. We waited in line only a few minutes to get to the counter. We were able to get a seat in the shaded patio area with a nice view of the water. Our food was ready within 5-10 minutes and we felt the serving sizes were adequate for the price. The burger wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but definitely hit the spot after a long day of hiking. I was excited by the variety of toppings available for the fries. The napkin and sauce station was equipped with ketchup, mustard, salt, and malt vinegar. I ended up going the salt and vinegar route because these seemed like the perfect fries for that combo!

What a beautiful place, Ohioplye does not disappoint, staff is nice and kind - I got the crispy chicken wrap, and for a tourist trap this place does the trick quite good after a long hike along the mohongihalia river - Me lady got a veggie wrap, me lady is a vegetarian now but don't worry we will still get our fair share of meat reviews, but now with some added color (green) less beige notes to the color pallet of these reviews!

Solid choice. Everything from the grill was good. The grilled club was great -- perfectly done bread. Great views of the river from the dining area.

However, since I was touring a few Frank Lloyd Wright houses, I had not eaten since my early morning continental breakfast at the Comfort Inn in Connellsville. Mindlessly following the Google Maps directions, I arrived in a town called Indian Head and didn't have any expectations about what I'd find in this family-friendly roadside diner. Without hesitation, I ordered the $13.99 Grilled Chicken Salad. I was quite impressed with what arrived. There were huge pieces of grilled chicken breast, tender and moist, with cucumber, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, onions, beets, shredded cheddar, and a pickled egg with ranch dressing on the side (Photo 9). Sounds basic, I know, but it was hearty, fresh, and genuinely satisfying. Midway through my salad, a plate of fries arrived (Photo 10). I wasn't expecting it, but the server apologized for the delay. I only noticed later that the fries were mentioned in the menu. I certainly didn't mind because they were hot, tasty, and not at all greasy. Even though I was getting full and kinda anxious to get going, I was rather hypnotized by the refrigerator of freshly made pies. I just couldn't help myself and ordered a $4.29 slice of Banana Meringue Pie (Photo 8). So upon arriving I thought what a hip little place and I was excited to try it out because of the outside seating and also because it's right next to the Yough. So as we walked in to order the place was dead. There was only three people at the bar having drinks on a beautiful Saturday afternoon with what looked to be their friend who was bartending. So after looking at the menu I decided on an iced oat milk latte because they had zero vegan options from the menu board. I also let the kids pick out whatever they wanted and their mom just decided to eat some of what her kids were having since she knew they wouldn't eat it all. Two ordered pizza, one ordered chips and salsa and the other ordered chicken tacos. So we went outside and grabbed a table and waited for the food to arrive, but it took no time at all. I think that is mainly because there was nobody there eating. Honestly, I was surprised at how fast the pizzas came out, but I wasn't after I saw them lol The two pizzas were a total joke and complete rip-off for $10 a piece. I thought they were supposed to be artisan hand tossed pizza from the pics I had seen, but NOPE! They were literally small frozen pizzas heated up in something that made them all soggy, so probably a microwave. Yikes! If I was eating I would have returned them and asked for my money back, but I let it go because the kids were happy. They were the kind of pizza you get at a box chain grocery store for $1 each, NO JOKE! Then they charged me $1 extra for 8 pepperoni for the one pizza. Hilarious! Also, the waiter/bartender forgot to bring the kids napkins and her son salsa for his chips. Like what?!?He also never came back out to ask if we needed anything else because he must have been busy with his friends at the bar. I have been coming to this area my whole life because of Ohiopyle, Nemacolin, Falling Waters, Seven Springs, The Yough, The Summit Inn, etc and I also had several business accounts in this area for many years and nobody I know ever recommended this place once and I can see why now. Tbh: There are several other places in the area to enjoy a multitude of delicious things to eat that are way better than this place and especially if you're wanting pizza. I could have just bought them one Little Caesars $5 Hot and Ready and it would have been like buying five of their pizzas and the kids would have been much happier and way more full and I wouldn't have wasted $21on $2 worth of pizza from Giant Eagle. *I highly do not recommend* It's a shame too because I really wanted to like this place so much, but if they did better I would have, simple! Service 2/10 Location 8/10 Food 1/10 Iced latte 3/10 Side Note: The kids did have a lot of fun playing cornhole so that's the one good thing.
