I may not return to my stylist however out of respect I wouldn't disclose my stylist name. I went in there for a consult with my frizzy hair and also wanted to do root touch up. I have had highlights from before. During my consultation, I was suggested by my stylist to do a hair keratin treatment. And she/he dint really talk about the root touch up, which was fine to me too. On my hair service day, when my root touch up was about to start, she/he asked me if I want to keep my highlights. I said yah, would like to keep my highlights. She/he also said that since some of my grey roots were longer more than about an inch, I'd be charged for a single process color $95 instead of root touch up $75. I gave my okay to that. Then work got started and all of my services were completed. Next day, I noticed several grey hairs still. I called up with my concern on the following business day. I was asked to come in so that my stylist can have a look. I went in there greeted my stylist asked how are you doing. She/he responded in a rude tone. Then after I addressed my concern, she/he went on raising her/his voice incrementally blaming me that I wanted to keep my highlights and that my greys were too long. I have to mention that I had been calm all throughout. For me it was not a big deal, it was just a minor error, which can be corrected easily. I dint go there to complain or scream at anyone, just wanted to see if that can be corrected. She/he made a huge deal out of it. She/he made me feel like it was my mistake that I had a complicated hair service request. Well, I'd say any professional's potential is tested on how one copes to new challenges. However, shout out to Teresa at customer service for the way she handled the situation. She was there to witness. She said that she'd let her manage know and gave me a form to fill up. Meanwhile, my stylist stormed out of the salon. Teresa was so empathetic! She dint assure me anything just said that she'd follow up with her manager. But, had been so compassionate throughout. It was a challenging situation for her too. She reacted so well at the situation, without taking anyones side. To me, unlike my stylist, she really thrived at her challenge! Following day, I got a call from their manager and she was really very nice as well! She set me up an appointment with another stylist to see what they can do. My second stylist tried to fix it as much as she could, which is all I wanted. Too much of unnecessary drama by my stylist. It'd have been solved right there, all she/he needed to do was tell me how you can help and if not explain to me what repercussions it may have to my hair. For the whole trauma that I had to go through, I'd have given a 1 star. However, for everyone else and everything else at this place I'd have to give a 4 star.

The website listed the haircut as $85 max, but my total ended up being $100. My interaction with the woman who checked me out was pretty minimal, but she wasn't especially friendly. It wasn't a huge issue, but I do think those little details can make a difference in the overall experience. Kacy did a good job, but I'm still not sure if I'll make this my regular salon.

WARNING -- DO NOT GO HERE I am devastated by the way my hair…read moreand scalp were handled at this salon. After a simple root touch-up, the stylist applied strong bleach to my dry, previously lightened ends and left it on far too long. My scalp burned and smoked -- I have photos and video -- and by the time it was rinsed, I had lost a significant amount of hair. I am not exaggerating: I lost about half of my hair that day. My scalp now has painful sores. When I began crying from the pain and shock, the stylist showed no sympathy. The owner eventually washed my hair because of the scene I was making, but the person who applied the bleach appeared unconcerned the entire time. Other local stylists who have seen my hair were shocked at the level of lift used and how long it was left on. I have cosmetology training (Paul Mitchell), so I know this was over-processing and should have been addressed immediately. This was not a simple accident -- the damage could have been prevented if proper technique and care had been used. I have the stylist's license number, photos, and video evidence. I am pursuing legal action and will be reporting this incident to the state cosmetology board. I will also be sharing my experience publicly so others can make an informed decision. Please do not trust this salon with chemical services. I am traumatized by what happened and hope my review prevents someone else from going through the same experience.
