I'd like to give this place a 5 out of 5 because at one point a couple of years ago it was worth going to. I always go there for the chicken caesar wraps because I love the flavor of their chicken and dressing. The past few times I've been there in the last year have been underwhelming to say the least. Little to no lettuce that's browning, a huge amount of dressing and an overload on chicken. No complaint on the decent amount of protein but just not what I expected. Full disclosure, I grew up in town and have loved this place my entire life. The ownership has changed hands several times but the fundamentals are the same. Greek style pizza(read baked inside a pan with a thin wall), grinders, subs, and salads. The service is quick, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is consistent. This is the best version of a hometown spot. If you are looking for a true food review, here are my recommendations: Pizza: puffy/chewy crust, a bit greasy, but cheesy and satisfying. Not sure if they changed it, but for a long time the sausage was square instead of round. If you get the veggie pizza, it comes with fried eggplant . Grinders: Italian, Super Steak, or Chicken cutlet are my go-to's. They will toast the bread on order and its good. Toppings are free and whatever you want. Salad: pre-made every day. Greek salad with grilled chicken is good. They give you a large chicken breast that is sliced up. The meat to salad ratio is literally 1:1. Reese gets props for giving the "I work on Rt. 20 review" of the lunch scene in Sudbury. Sudbury Pizza is a special place for those of us who grew up there. It's THE spot to go grab lunch once you're a jr/sr bc the high school has an open campus. That said, yes it will be super busy during lunch and prob'ly filled with high school kids who'll hop back in their BMW's or SUV's and race back to the high school afterwards. The pizza itself, is mediocre, super greasy, but big slices cheap. Go for the subs, the bread is great, fillings are great, the subs are well, just great. The real reason to come here is the service. Nick (tall, grey haired guy, who clearly runs the place) is super friendly, and if he knows does things like walks around and gives out free chips every once in a while. Once they get to know you they'll remember your order, say hi like you're a friend, not a customer, and they trust you. Meaning, they let you order, eat in peace, and pay on your way out, it's a small thing but it means a lot. For your first time, go early or go late so you can really enjoy the place, when its not busy, then go back when it is and you'll like it even better. read more

Just got lunch here. Not only was the sub great, but it was so inexpensive! $3.50 for a small veggie is unheard of, and they packed it full with veggie goodness! I went here with my family today for the first time based on the 4.5 stars. We got a chicken parm and a meatball sub. Both subs were disgusting. The meatballs were poor quality frozen meatballs that were probably 50% filler. The chicken were patties that were poorer quality than chicken mcnuggets. The owners should increase their prices by $2 per sub and use real ingredients. There is no excuse to have such crappy ingredients. read more

Simply put, it's Sud P's. This is the focal point of the town and huge part of Sudbury's culture. Everyone from families after sports games, highschooler students during full lunch, and working people off on a lunch break congregate here. Today I found a piece of chewed gum in my salad from Sudbury Pizza. I found said gum when I, myself, ended up chewing on it, as it was mixed in with the tuna atop it. You should eat there if: 1) you enjoy your salads with camouflaged gum 2) you opt for gum over croutons You shouldn't eat there if: 1) you prefer your salads gum-less 2) you don't enjoy eating gum that someone else has already chewed. I have gone to Sudbury Pizza for years, but since it has changed management, the quality of food has gone down immensely. I will never step foot in that establishment again.
