I ordered a bacon eggs band sourdough breakfast and a pancake, bacon and eggs breakfast. The wait wasn't long.,the cashiers were nice. The one that rang my order had light hair and braces. The other cashier with the dark hair bagged my order. I asked the girl that packaged my food to allow me to see it and she opened each box. I asked where my toast was. She said she'd get it. Despite mixed reviews left previously by others, I enjoyed my meal here. The menu has a lot to offer and my friends and I got double cheese burgers, chicken burritos, and as a patty melt. Let me catch you up on some history with this place. We used to go here all the time before the fire. Then after the fire they fixed it up. We started eating here again, but it just wasn't the same. The quality was going down, the speed of the orders were very slow and the accuracy of the orders were off. We stopped coming here for a few years. Then one day my gf said let's order from Famous Burgers and try it out again. I am glad we did. We ordered from door dash and the food was accurate and hot and tasty. I have to say this place has gotten way better now. Speed and accuracy, even the quality has increased since the last time we came here. The burgers are delish, their french fries are so good. Weekday visit, ample parking and clean for a busy corner store. Lots of specials, open kitchen is tidy and clean, surprised on a weekday there was 3 guys on the stove/line, 2 ladies on the counter and a runner . While most places are seeking help for food services this store has many and they appear to be employed here long time. Told the female I am in the mood for hawaiian burger or colossal pastrami sandwich. No hesitation so we took her advice for the hawaiian combo. Didn't like returning to the counter to get the restroom key but inside was well stocked , little graffiti , clean and the tiles are home grade so that's nice (unlike a jail or Mcdoanlds). Dining room was spacious, room between tables and wide walk way, furniture is normal burger joint, big windows bring in lots of light. Their regular fries had light orange dusting /seasoning so that's great, took 6 bites of the big burger and still had 60% left, teriyaki sauce very acceptable, 2 pineapples, thick center cut of lettuce like In & Out, over all A grade. Food The food is good, the best part of this place. But if that's the only part they're nailing you're better off sticking to the drive through or trying one of the other 7 good burger places Long Beach has to offer (outside of franchises like McD's and Jack). Burgers are good, fries are good, portions/sizes are good. Service abysmal. I try to not curse in my reviews unless it's positive, to be polite and fair but when the face of the business is the person at the register and that person seemingly goes out of her way to be as much of a rude troll as possible, I don't think I have to hold back. It's also a lot of nerve to be that rude and still not get the order right, in addition to several other people that went up to the register having to repeat themselves to get their orders right. Ambiance Clean, kind of. Seems to have recently gotten a facelift, but the staff doesn't seem super enthusiastic about cleaning up after people leave so the tables linger a hot minute before being available again. Overall, drive through is the best option since the food is good enough to warrant return trips, but minimize actual staff interaction. Maybe they can revamp their customer service to match the interior in the future. read more

There's a drive thru, but be careful using it. Just take your time...easy to hit a pedestrian or scratch your car. The customer service was quick and the cashier was polite. I got the large because my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I got my order within 10 mins or less and all of it was hot and fresh. The fries were covered with chili and cheese just how I like it. The fries were the skinny pre-frozen ones but they were fried nicely so no complaints. The chili was pretty good....kinda gave me the wienerschnitzel vibe. I was also happy to learn that even though my stomach couldn't hold all those fries I was able to reheat and they were just as good. Not my favorite but in the top 5! read more
