Service was good at OMG. Outdoor seating area was nicer than most and you can watch sports while seated there. I liked my cheesesteak with the standard Cooper Sharp cheese and the peppers, but I made the mistake of allowing mayo to be included. I think it should safely be an option instead. read more

Ok for the review. Once again the cheesesteaks are PHENOMENAL . Only other thing I've ordered is the chicken cheesesteak and it was amazing too. But if you can eat beef, stick with the original. Only continued suggestion is would love if you guys would serve fries. The rest/pictures of this if for the owners so hopefully they can get it fixed. This lived up to all the hype. I came for the cheesesteak and I will return for the cheesesteak! I did splurge and try a few more things while I was there, for research purposes of course. I got standard cheesesteak as it comes which had onions, peppers and mayo and it was perfect. Authentic bread with that perfect chew. Amazing meat to bread proportion, I couldn't even finish half. I love me some Phillys Best but this beat it hands down. Don't fret Phillys best, you score points for those amazing fries and onion rings. Next the Chili cheese Fritos was a guilty pleasure. Just as you imagine, Fritos with chilli, cheese and jalapeños. Reminders me of a chili cheese casserole I used to make. Very familiar and hearty. Chili was good and I think they have a turkey version I will try next time. I would get again but maybe just the chili if they serve it without the Fritos. Mac n cheese is a must whenever on a menu, so why not! It did not disappoint. Great cheese flavor that was creamy enough and still had a nice cheesy crust. If you love Mac I would recommend for the try. Honestly I would likely try other stuff just for some variety next time but I would recommend for sure. Finally you have to try dessert, right? I was gonna get the ice but I decided to drive home to eat which is about 15 min so didn't want to risk it melting. I went with the banana puddin and boy am I happy I did! Highly recommend if you like Banana Puddin like me! This isn't about ambience, this is a window and take to a table joint but it was nice enough for me. I found street parking right in front but you can park in the lot on the corner by the Taco spot if not as lucky as I was. It was 12:15 on a Monday but school hasn't started so may have been lucky. The staff was friendly and engaging and I loved the entire vibe. I will be back for a burger for my husband to try (so I can sample) but no way I am not getting that cheesesteak every time. My partner wanted to try this place and we had time to check it out. It's not far from our apt and conveniently close to the HS. They serve really good food as we sampled their smashburger and patty melt. The smashburger was custom made to perfection. Definitely a hearty sized burger. My patty melt was really good. Great bread, but it could have been crunchier. The pretzel was buttery and salty, but I was expecting it hot. I was surprised they didn't have fries on their menu, but they'll probably want to get on that before the school term. Kids love fries in a bag at the end of the day and it would sell hot. While at a Wilson High school baseball game my wife and I thought a good burger would be a fitting way to cap the evening. Saw that it was not far from the ball field and found it just where map said it would be. Took a minute or to find a parking on the nearby side street but not far away. OMG specializes in Burgers and other sandwiches but no French fries. So we ordered Mac and Cheese and Potato salad as our side. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Pretty solid burger joint. The location is kind of hole in the wall, on 7th St across from Wilson High School. We were initially drawn in because of their Italian ice which a fav with the kids. We initially were going to order the Philly cheesesteak, but they were out of the meat, so we went with burgers with pretzel bites. The burgers were perfect, and there are plenty of options for toppings We went with mustard, grilled onions, pickles and jalapenos. Better burgers here than at Win-Dow for sure. I keep it simple, steak, cheese, onions and this thing was perfect. The bread is pretty soft, classic Philly style. It's not the fancy seeded rolls you're seeing popping up all over Philly, but the steak and cheese was so good you don't need all that. Shipping in the coopers sharp makes this a 10/10 for me. Was looking for a quick ice cream spot to take the kids to after the park. OMG popped up as close and good ratings, it's directly across the street from Rec Park and Wilson high school. OMG is a tiny establishment across 7th St from Recreation Park and the baseball field, and I pass by nearly every time I visit my daughter. She has been looking for a shave ice place ever since she got back from Hawai'i, but never found it anywhere served the same as there. But she sees this place nearly every day, and we were golfing practically next door, so we decided to try it for lunch after playing nine. We left the car at the golf parking lot and walked. That all covers the logistics, except there is limited street parking right in front of the place. Ordering is at a window. The menu is broad enough to cover most diets, but we were all about the smash cheeseburgers and OMG is aptly named! They come on what seems like a pretzel dough bun and are sizeable enough to require fully opened jaw to bite. The cheese was both white and orange. My guess is jack and American (but I'm not an expert so take all my guesses as that.) The seasoning was muted but there; the lettuce and tomato seemed fresh; the mayo and ketchup were not overwhelming but just enough to drip a bit as they should. We both wanted to save room for the dessert but managed to finish our burgers. No sides ordered so no review of those. We were sufficiently full that we decided to split a Tropical Delight and it was delightful indeed.The frozen custard or ice cream (I can't tell the difference) was perfect and didn't melt while we ate it. The blend of that taste and texture with the shave ice crystalline texture and taste was delightful. I don't know if it's as good as in Hawaii but I don't know how it tastes there so this was plenty good enough for me. If you've been there and had that, try this place and let us all know.
