A 3-meat lunch platter is about $15. It has rib, rib tips, sausage. Purchase with gift card ( at Costco or Sam's club), 25% off the price. Purchase with famous Dave app, another 10% off via rewarding points. From time to time, they send promotions for extra discount. You actually pay $10 dollars or less for this meal. This is the best offer among the restaurants I went. Meat quality, portion, and flavor are great! Spend less, eat well!

This location has a happy hour, so you can get some nice deals on food. We took advantage of this and got a variety of food to share. We got: The Pulled Pork Sandwich (one each), Southside Rib Tips, Two Bones St. Louis Style Ribs (two each), and fountain beverages. Everything was delicious and fresh. We appreciate that Famous Dave's has been working hard to regain their status as a great place to get barbecue. We took home some of the food that was left, as our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Even reheated, the food was tasty. We'll certainly return as we go to see movies in Rosedale a fair amount.

Order 2 family feast, fried pickles, cheese curds, and rib tips. My personal favorite was the rib tips and the ribs itself preferably the baby back ribs though because they were more juicy. Corn bread is also ALWAYS a must have when you come here Requested to have Wilmar's hot sauce on the side because it is fiery good! Service was quick and everything went well. They cleared the tables quick and food was brought out fast. Interior was neat and plenty of parking as well

Ordered takeout for Lunch. Texas Beef Brisket, Southside Rib Tips, Garlic Red-Skin Mashed Potatoes and a corn bread muffin. Current price $13.00. Customer Service did a nice job on presentation. For "Minnesota Barbecue" it's pretty decent, the sauce definitely helps kick it up the flavor chart. I was a big fan of the mashed potatoes as well . A filling meal under $15.00.

Was craving brisket by the pound. $25 per pound. I ordered 1/2 lb. I just assumed it came with no sauce on the brisket but it was sauced. The brisket was much less than 'nothing special'. Ask for extra fatty and there was virtually no fat on it. No flavor. I was disappointed.

Famous Dave's never lets me down - five stars! After eating BBQ all over the Twin Cities, I have to say that Famous Dave's is worthy of 5 stars. I've never had a bad experience at any location. There's some great BBQ in the Twin Cities. But I think Dave's has them all beat with the large variety on the menu, consistent quality, and fair pricing. I particularly like the "Feast for Two" so I can try a bit of everything. Thumbs up! -Daddy Maxx Retro

First off I am from Texas (Houston - best city in Texas) and I know a thing or two about great bbq and let me tell you what, famous Dave's bbq is great! Food: moist brisket is so flavorful and tasty. Do not get the lean brisket. Get the moist. The jalapeño cheese sausage is simply amazing! The put the brisket on a piece of Texas style toast, so good. They also put the sausage on top of some of that Texas toast too. Such an nice extra touch to compliment the amazing meats. The rib ends are pretty good too. All the meat is smoked like real bbq should be! The sides are so dam good too! I got the Mac n cheese and it was very tasty. The dirty rice was really good as well. Amazing sides! The bbq sauce is so good too! Service: Christina is such a professional. She took good care of me! I will definitely stop in next time I'm on the area. From a real lover of great bbq, do yourself a favor and try this place. You will not be disappointed. How could I forget. They give you this little muffin that is so dam good!

Burger special Mi day, .50 each for lettuce and tomato BYO Sandwich BYO Sandwich

Burger special Monday and I paid extra for this lettuce and cheese I understand it's a burger special but wow. I ended up paying $10.50 for the $4.50 special.50 for that slice of tomato and another .50 for that one partial lettuce leaf-- the part we usually throw away at home? I am disappointed, all three of our specials came like this.

    Supposed to be peach cobbler

Already posted this to Google but figured I should post it here too. This place is alright but I was really disappointed when I opened up the "peach cobbler" that they gave me and found this milky nastiness inside. I ordered take out and I'm not about to go back so the rest of my food goes cold for them to replace it, so I guess I just wasted my money today. Peach cobbler is my favorite dessert and is the reason I came to this location specifically. Really disappointed.

Famous Dave's is a restaurant who specializes in bbq. They are pretty decent but not the best bbq ever. Restaurant: there is a counter when you walk in where you order, they give you a number to set at your table for them to bring your food to. They have plenty of tables and some of them do expand to make them bigger. Service: the manager did come around and ask us how things were but other then that the service was fine nothing wonderful or subpar about it. Food: normally I would give them four stars but I brought my rating down to three because of my meat. My mom and I both got the classic Georgia pork. Hers was fine, mine had the actual end of the meat and a ton of fat. I was really disappointed because it made it not super appetizing anymore then. That being said the parts that weren't fatty were good and my moms was perfectly fine. I got mine with the beans which have some kick to them. I also got the corn on the cob. This particular platter also comes with a corn muffin (these are sooo good I always order extra to-go) Overall I'm sure we will be back, however I really hope today was a fluke and I get better meat next time.

The pulled pork is so moist and tender. It's elevated to eye watering deliciousness with the addition of the Hmong Pepper Sauce..that sauce is amazing, and I could see putting it on everything. Even with the rain I said I still wanna check it out! Today they were located in the parking lot of Joe's Sporting Goods. It's hard to miss them given how big their red trailer is, you can clearly see the big grills mounted on the rear. They serve up your traditional BBQ eats but I did notice their Pulled Pork had different flavors which I wished I saw before ordering, definitely trying those out at a different time. But for today I decided on an order of Brisket and Beef Ribs with no sides. The Brisket looked pretty damn well made to me, the smoke rings were clearly visible. Then I took my fork and easily sliced through it like a hot knife through butter. And as I did I could see the lucious meat juices drip off my fork. I couldn't wait to place it into my mouth. Once I did I was in love with it. So so tender and a good smoke flavor to it, not overpowering. As for the Beef Ribs, they were big and flavorful! Easily fall off the bone and amazing juicy! Besides the meat I also got a side of their Spicy BBQ, and I have to say I liked it a lot, probably my new favorite BBQ sauce! I was suprised at the smokey character of the sauce that prevents it from being too sweet. It had enough spice that I could taste the heat but it was nothing no one can handle. I am glad they gave me 3 dipping cups of that BBQ sauce, gladly dip or paint it on any meat I get. This truck is another winner for me and I am so glad to see lots of Hmong food trucks popping up making outrageously good food! Also the owners are friendly and provide good service. Like previously stated I can't wait to give their flavored pulled pork a try!

They serve it with carrots, celery, and your choice of ranch or bleu cheese. Three Meat Platter: We picked brisket, ribs, and turkey. The sides we enjoyed were the potato salad and fries with the comeback sauce. The comeback sauce with the fries is a pro move! Plain Burger - 1/2 pound smoked and seared burger. We did a side of the Street Corn Salad. Petey's Banana Pudding: This is absolutely to die for. I am not a huge dessert person, but this was so good I didn't want to share it. Always get a large! Ever since 2020, the climate surrounding the George Floyd Square has changed dramatically, and this establishment has become an even stronger integral part of the community as the square itself had represented how the community thrives with its people. A lot of respect for the establishment from that perspective. In terms of food, I would say the soul food, which contained mostly sides, were the main highlight for me. The mac & cheese was salty enough. The fries were solid in a "you can't really go wrong with it" type of way. The candied yams had enough sweetness. The collard greens could taste better but standards must be lower when they're not homemade. I also enjoyed the catfish fillets as they were fried to preserve enough hotness and softness. A lot of what they served, they made on the spot, which was what may be causing longer wait for some. Meat-wise, a lot of items could use further improvement because they were too dry, such as the smoked wings and the beef brisket. The wings were dry to the point that they condensed and got extremely salty. The brisket relied a lot on the sauce and the existing fat on the meat for juiciness while the meat itself didn't have a lot of flavor or juice. As for the ribs, they had some seasoning, and tasted just fine, and weren't as dry. But I have had ribs in Texan barbeque places before and knew what "seasoned" ribs were like and therefore concluded that the ribs here were not spectacular. With all that said, however, I still will return here as often as I can because I love supporting this business. The person serving me was very hospitable and patient. I still got some pretty solid barbeque even if it's not Texas. Besides, outside just the barbeque food, the soul food was solid, like I had mentioned above.

The ribs are as good as the best places in the area (Firebox, Jellybean and Julia's) but they're still unique. They have a few sauce options--the green one is amazing. You can tell it was high quality meat. The meats all had a sightly sweet taste to them. I almost didn't need any sauce. I did use a lot of Hmong pepper sauce though because it was so good. For my sides, I ordered the sticky rice, apple coleslaw, bbq sauce, and hmong pepper. The sticky rice was made just how I like it - hot, sticky, and just the right amount of chewiness. The apple coleslaw was good but not memorable. The Hmong pepper sauce was fresh and spicy-- but not too spicy. It gave a good balance to the sweetness of the meat. I docked one star for the following... They provided some tables that look like the ones K12 children sit in at lunch.
