I can not begin to tell you how awesome these orthotics are. Back in 2018 or so I had a bad case of plantar fasciitis and was going to Disneyland in a few days. No way was i going to be able to walk around...limping so bad. Went to Good Feet store.... got the personal attention and got my orthotics. It was a game changer. Yes I went to Disney.... and yes my Feet hurt at end of day....but like a "normal Feet are tired" kind of thing. I have used this since... no more Feet pain. I work out and walk alot. Yes they are expensive...but oh so worth it. Always great service. Lifetime replacement!! One of the best investments in my health. read more

Very high pressure. I decided on what I wanted because it seemed to improve my posture but told I couldn't have them because needed to start out "slow" so I purchased the lowest smallest, thin grade "support". I was told to wear them the for 30 min per day then increase wear time. After a week my back hurt more than before so I called to return them. I'm 70 miles from San Marcos but I was within my 7 day return and actually told I had 90 days to return so I didn't panic. I did go 3 days later and was told that whoever told me that was wrong. Clearly employees in this store don't communicate because one says one thing and another says something else completely. I wanted to return them and be done but was told I couldn't do that. Insisted that I try the middle arches even tho I didn't want to but "it's our policy" so returned the beginner pair and tried the middle pair. I had on sandals and was told I should think about putting the Velcro in my shoes if I was going to wear them an extended period. I wasn't planning on it, just the 1 hour break in period. within 30 minutes I lost one of the inserts out of my sandal. I called the store and was told I could buy another set because they were sold in sets only. Here's the problem. From the very beginning it was high pressure to purchase, I was not allowed to purchase the inserts that felt the best because I needed to start with the beginner set. Total cost of all 3 sets would have been over $1,500 which insurance DOES NOT COVER. I wanted a refund but was told I couldn't until I tried the "next step" I was told I should think about putting Velcro in my sandals but not told I need to do it right then. I'm not at all happy with the service or the product. The sales pressure is extreme and there is no communication between staff members regarding the store's policy's . A full refund would definitely be in order. read more

Just went to this store 45 minutes ago. The guy working ignored me when I walked in, but he was help one other customer. A second person walked in a couple minutes after me, he acknowledged him. That same person didn't want to wait, so he started walking out and the employee acknowledged him again and told him to come back soon so he could help. Feeling ignored I left, the employee also ignored me as I left. I drove to footwear etc. in Rancho Bernardo, I glad I did, the store was packed with customers, but the employees were friendly and quickly help and man the guy was crazy knowledgeable and the store had so many more shoe options including orthotic inserts and socks. I left 15 minutes later with new inserts and my foot was already nothing a difference. From this point on I'll be driving to Rancho Bernardo. read more

I was in pain I needed to do something and on their lowest price program, with tax, it was almost $1500. Still having a negative remarks concerning the Good Feet orthotics. Viewed a few of their TV adds and almost had to keep from throwing my slipper at the TV.... What a crock of H.S. I did exactly what they did in the commercial put a pair of those inserts in my shoes and gave the same Bull shit store... here is my quote... "Amazing I can't believe the difference" Here's what's amazing that I feel for the whole thing hook line and sinker. Walking around a shoe store for 15 seconds does not determine the out come of how this inserts will effect the course of a full day of standing for (8) consecutive hours minus two 30 minute breaks...!!! The insrts I purchased from Amazon for $29.95 have served me with a much better results then the $1500.00 ones from the "Good Feet" store... Good for who ??? read more

I heard The Good Feet Store commercial again on the radio which is what prompted me to go to the store. They state improvements will happen within four weeks of using their system. I have been refitted a second time yet I am still experiencing pain which has not resolved since I stepped into their store. The sales person, because that's all they are, assured me there are hundreds of fittings they can continue to try until I receive the support I need and that I'm not in this situation on my own. That should tell you this is not a customized service such as can be provided by a podiatrist or chiropractor who specializes in feet. I am ashamed of the fact I stepped into this store and paid the amount of money I did for this service. I can only say that I was desperate. The other issue I have is that there is a no return policy. I went against my own advice about buying from a company that offers a no return policy. I ended up with a bunch of junk with the only option of trying out hundreds of insoles and maybe I'll get lucky and get some relief. For anyone else considering this system, I caution you to think twice. It is a scam. Do your research before making any purchase. read more

Wow, Great experience! Cheyanne (Sp?) asked a few questions and used the footprint they created to identify some potential issues. It was interesting and easy! I was then presented with a possible solution to help my pain. It has only been a few weeks, but everything was as advertised. My mother in law needed some new shoes. It was recommended by her physician to use one of these specialty shops. We knew of this from passing and were headed nearby for my sons baseball game. So we stopped in to see what they were all about. They meet one on one with each customer. There are separate seating areas for trying on shoes for each person. They personally analyze foot prints to see what your stepping patterns are and how to provide more support for your feet. Poor footwear has a lot to do with your posture and potential for back pain. They carry shoes from major brands, like Brooks. Honestly I wasn't listening too much to the discussion between the sales person and my mother in law as I was sitting in a chair getting a free automated foot massage. I need knee replacement surgery soon. I had seen a lot of the commercials for this pace and was like fine, I'll try it. You need to make an appointment (it's about an hour long). I went on my lunch break and since I like to talk a lot it was a little longer than an hour. The cost I wasn't so impressed with but you can always say no and take out things you don't need. However, I needed everything. Kaytlin, my arch support consultant and her manager a beautiful black lady (sorry I forgot your name) were incredible. Kaytlin took her time with me, explained how everything worked and what it would feel like. She told me to place my feet on the foot massager in there (so nice). They should sell those too. Anyways to make this long story somewhat short, I applied for their Care Credit like option and was approved and brought it all home and so far, everything is working. My feet feel great, my knees are feeling a little better but they still hurt cause they are bone in bone. I'm able to exercise more and a lot longer with my workout inserts and I can still wear my Nikes and Vans yay me . I even have an insert for my flip flops and sandals so that I'm not barefoot (I have a flat foot). Work has been super busy and I'm able to keep up a lot better. I told Good Feet to get ready, I'm going to be in their next commercial . Ms. Kaytlin you know your stuff, she was very knowledgeable, professional, gave great customer service and was patient. I would definitely recommend the Good Feet store and definitely recommend going to the San Marcos location to see Ms. Kaytlin and her boss both ladies were so lovely and made my shopping experience painless. Went into the Good Feet Store for the first time. This is the one on Las Posas in San Marcos, CA. My main thought was to get running shoes, second thought was to learn about the inserts. I was treated very well while there. The 1 star rating comes from the business practices for this company...."AFTER" I paid for the running shoes I was told that the Good Feet Store is not really a shoe store so all "shoe-only sales are final, no returns allowed", and they want you to sign the receipt saying that they told you that. Why is there policy not to tell you that before you pay? I would think that their policy violates some sort of consumer protection laws. Maybe not. Maybe it is just a sleezy, unethical business practice typical for this company. And there is more!! Since the shoes fit well and I felt confident that I would be happy with them, I just shrugged it off with the mindset of no longer doing business with this company. THEN I get home and find out that every other outlet in the country appears to be selling these shoes at a $30-50 discount from what I paid. I paid $140 for them which was full price. I was able to buy another pair of the same shoe from REI for $89 within hours of buying these. Apparently, these are not the latest model of the shoe. So, the "tell you after you paid", "all sales final, no returns" policy means that I now have a $50 lesson to share with you...Only go to the Good Feet Store if they have something other than shoes that you need. If you just need shoes, go someplace else. By the way the inserts they offer to put in the shoes are near $500 a pair and are not custom made for your foot, but rather off the shelf items selected to best fit an imprint of your foot. read more

Super helpful staff , very knowledgeable! Was looking for a new pair of good inserts to replace my old custom orthotics. James interviewed me and took prints and measurements of my feet, came up with a custom package to help with what was bothering me with my foot pain. I did not purchase the WHOLE package, but went away with what I needed for now and so far so good, it seems like these will help out and stretch out my arches to relieve my foot pain. read more

We were pleasantly surprised with the store and their products...it was a new shopping experience for us. We were greeted by Alfonso who spent a lot of time with us. He is quite knowledgeable of the products The Good Feet Store sells and the techniques by which their products work. He didn't rush us through our appointment but was generous with his time. I could barely walk because my plantar fasciitis was so painful. I made an appointment for the first available and was greeted by the manager, Cheyenne as she opened for the day. she was so thorough to explain about the four arches In my feet and how the three arch inserts would realign, retrain, and maintain my proper alignment. The appointment was so thorough and I had the opportunity to try different supports and walk around the store. I got the arch supports, special plantar fasciitis socks, and two pair of shoes. I'm following the recommended schedule and here it is, two days later and I can't believe how much better I feel. I am a believer - this really works for me. I had the most successful, educational and amazing experiencing at this location. Cheyenne Vargas is the store manager and was the person who assisted me. She was professional, so well informed and spent as much time as I needed to resolve my issues. When I walked into the store, I was in major pain. When I was working with Cheyenne, she listened to my story, did my assessment and then explained a plan that made complete sense to me. By the time our appointment was over, I actually walked out of the store in no pain. If I could give Cheyenne 10 Stars I would, because she deserves that. So I went online and made an appointment. I called ahead of time to make sure they had the shoes I wanted in stock, they did, the young man who answered the phone was very personable, professional and helpful. I then went to the store at my appointment time and noticed they had remodeled, it looks great! Megan and Angela greeted me, and it turns out the young man had pulled the shoes I wanted, and they were ready for me to try on. Angela was very accommodating, as I wanted to sit in a new cubicle. We tried on the shoes, and she noticed I didn't have the arch activator cushions, she recommended that I get them based on the wear of my existing cushions-great call, they are comfortable!!! I bought the shoes and 2 sets of the new cushions!! Megan and Angela were very friendly, helpful and professional (still don't know how the can work in heels all day!) If you've had a diagnosis of facet joint arthritis and bone spurs like I did, these won't make a lick of difference. Wish I'd known that when I went there. I explained what my doc said was the issue and the people here insisted it would work. On the commercials on TV the testimonials have people saying they felt a difference the minute they tried them in on the store. I did not. At all. Was told sometimes it takes a few weeks. Well never helped. So here I am out a lot of money. I'm not saying it won't work for anyone.. just saying be aware of what your issue is, and remember they are not medically trained. read more

DO NOT RECCOMMEND!! I would give 0 stars if it wasn't for the great customer service I received from Michelle. The 1 star is for her only. She is very professional and shows genuine care for her customers, unlike the other staff members at the San Marcos location. The staff will give you the same rehearsed sales pitch that the last customer got.. They claim to be "Arch Support Specialists" but are just minimum wage employees trying to earn a check. They will take a print of your foot and match it to what inserts they have on hand, they aren't even custom made! I felt rushed and unimportant both times I went to the store. The hours state closing time is 6PM but if you go any time after 5 they will try to rush you out of the store. If you want to close at 5, just do it. The first set of arch supports I bought were so uncomfortable I couldn't wear them for more than 10 minutes. I decided to drive back to the store and take advantage of the exchange policy to get different inserts. The second experience was even worse and now the pain in my feet has multiplied. You are much, much better off going to see a specialized foot doctor. For the price of over $1400 (no return policy), the staff should be much more invested in the time of their customers. After multiple trips and a lot of physical and emotional stress, Michelle was able to take some accountability and help me resolve my issue. In short, this place seems like an absolute scam. Charging 1400 dollars for plastic inserts that MIGHT work, without a return policy and it feels like they cost .50 Cents to make. Shoutout to Michelle, I just feel bad that she has to deal with upset customers every day because their product is over priced and not effective. read more

The Good Feet Store - $1300 for this! - Orthotics Near Me - San Marcos, California

I've been using good feet orthotics for my work shoes and feel very little benefit and even a moderate amount of pain in my arch from using them. Thankfully, I paid little to nothing for them because I worked for them for a very brief stint in 2016 . A couple things to consider before going in to make a purchase: 1. They are not healthcare professionals. 2. They don't care about what's right for you as long as they can make a sale. Touching on my second point, I was let go of the company because I let too many people "walk" because they needed more time to think about the investment or consult a real doctor. To summarize, they will always try to sell you their "3 step," = $1000 or more, they have absolutely no idea about physiology or medicine, and there are no refunds for their products. I've seen numerous "arch support specialists " let go from the company for either not hard closing everyone who comes in or the manager arbitrarily firing them for being themselves. It's an extremely immoral company without your interest in mind and you're better off seeing a healthcare professional before you make a purchase you cannot take back. read more

Bought my first set at this store. Sherry, manager, was deceptively nice, however it turns out I was fitted WRONG. I received a very hard whitish wide larger size insert. Also the other 2 were the wrong size. Went back about 6months later with the main insert and she looked at me like I was wrong. At that price, she still did not fix it and told me to keep trying it. Maybe because it wasn't a year yet to exchange? Also told it would be $10 to exchange. Just left another Happy Feet store and got all the appropriate sized inserts. People... the exchange is $20. My best advice to everyone is: schedule an appointment. They really focus on you and explain how their products work. It's disturbing when people walk in without an appointment and disrupt ongoing sessions with clients. There is a reason many primary care physicians refer their patients to this store. No long procedures of taking imprints and then waiting for weeks till the insoles are ready. In 45 minutes, you're diagnosed, consulted and helped. Care credit payment plans available. I was happily surprised by this very efficient and effective process. I understand that the employees here sometimes get irritated by another unscheduled visitor who's not prepared and thinks this is a shoe store. It's not. Just recently I had an appointment at the Good Feet Store in San Marcos to be fitted for custom orthotic insoles. Alfonso Arroyo, who's one of the store's professional Arch Support Consultants, knew exactly what I needed, so I knew I was in good hands. Alfonso was trained by store manager Tara Breck, who runs her store like a well oiled machine. Her staff really knows what they're doing! When I first I walked into the store I was wearing a leg brace due to an old injury. After Alfonso fitted me with my new custom insoles, I walked out of the store, no longer needing to wear my leg brace! This has been life changing for me.
