I had also ordered the spicy cashew dressing and pesto vinaigrette but in place of the pesto vinaigrette I was given hot sauce. I double checked the order slip that was placed on the package and it was marked with both dressings, so I know the mistake wasn't on my end. Regardless, all of the veggies were very fresh and the dressing and hot sauce were very flavorful. Everything was portioned well and the meal was very hearty. It was also packaged in a way that made it easy to take with me to go. They have a lovely spacious outdoor patio that I would have loved to sit on, especially since it was a gorgeous day out. The inside and exterior of the restaurant was also very clean and tidy and bright. The service was friendly but it was busy when I came, so it felt like they were very rushed. Parking was very easy in their giant lot that they share with Amazon Fresh and a few other businesses.

While the prices at Mendocino Farms are on the higher side, the quality of the food makes it completely worth it. The salads are original, incredibly tasty, and consistently fantastic. What truly sets this place apart for me is personal: my mother has a chronic illness and often has very little appetite. One of the *only* things she reliably eats--and genuinely enjoys--are the salads here. Even on days when she says she has no appetite at all, the Mendocino Farms salads are a sure thing.
