That said, I don't know if it is the lack of consideration and budget from the HOA or the lack of particular expertise and knowledge of the on-site technicians -- but our pool has gone from crystal clear blue to green algae bloom toxicity. The technicians have been asked on-site to scrub and vacuum - -and we were told, that's not my job. So I guess in our case, the pool is not quite so brilliant. Maricopa Environmental Services even came out and said that while the PH and chlorine are satisfactory, anyone could get sick or infected from the algae and mold that is not scrubbed. Hopefully they will do better or recommend to the HOA a better servicing. Aint NO ONE wanna get into that pool....look at the photos. Hopefully Brilliant Pools can help make our pool brilliant again. We started our service with Phoenix Pool Pro in March. Things didn't start out on a good foot…read morebecause the tech didn't show up on the day they were scheduled but we wrote this off as bad luck since they told us an emergency popped up and they sent someone out the next day. Our pool was blue but needed to be vacuumed and prepared for swimming after the winter. The technician told us we needed to buy a robotic vacuum and said the owner would let us know what model we should purchase. We never heard about the vacuum again. I showed the technician where our pole vacuum was along with the hose but they never vacuumed the pool despite there being significant detritus at the bottom of the pool from the winter. Over the period of the next few months the pool gradually got more cloudy and eventually turned pea green. We asked if there was anything we needed to be doing between services other than emptying the skimmer baskets and never got any response. We have a smart pool timer and we were never asked how many hours the pool pump was running for (12 hours) nor were we ever told what it should be set to. The owner told us we needed an algae treatment and said they would call the following Monday to discuss options. We never got a call about the algae treatment and the technician never came back. I called and left a voicemail asking what the status of our account was and for an explanation for the technician not showing up. The owner immediately sent a text message to my wife saying we probably needed to drain our pool. He told us he would get back to us soon but never called or texted again. The owner is no longer returning our calls or text messages. We are now looking for another company and our pool is disgusting.

Savion came and installed the new motor and wouldn't leave until it was right even with all the problems my older pool system presents. Love this company, the prices are very reasonable and the technicians very knowledgeable and pleasant. This is my second time using this service for large pool repairs. I called and spoke with Brian, who set up a day to come out and look at the job. Was on time and showed up on the day he said he would. Gave me a quote and put me on the schedule to get fixed. They actually moved my up by a week because they time to fit me in. Pool tile was fixed on Friday 9-1-23 and Sunday we were using out pool again. An estimate was given to me and I was pleased. I changed pool service companies as I found the prior company was not communicating and at times didn't know what they were doing. All the employees have been wonderful to work with. They are responsive, they communicate, they are thorough and knowledgeable. I am very pleased I changed as they are still trying to correct bad service. You pay a little more, but it is worth it. I have found them to be responsive, knowledgeable, and professional.
