The nail shop is immaculate, there are charging stations, Wi-Fi is available, and water was provided. There a washer and dryers showing that they care about cleanliness and having the towels ready to avoid delays. I moved to Yonkers like 6 months ago and I've been looking for a good Nail Salon that is worth going to and THIS is it!! I walked in 30 min before closing, Elizabeth (Lily) and her colleague (I can't remember her name but she has an Afro and large reading glasses), they were both very welcoming, and knowledgeable in what they do. The place itself it's the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to in New York, they offered me water and more importantly The service isn't rushed most nail salons in New York City tend to rush their services to get people in and out and they forget about the Quality of the Service. I paid less than $60 for a filling and a nail fix, which is super affordable considering the other places in the area charge you 75+ for a filling that lasts you a few days. Got in fast and they did a great job. They had music playing, the establishment was clean and they have a lot of different color / service options. I have been here a few times and I've always had rosana do my nails. Rosana does great work and the boss lady Evelyn is always respectful and kind to everyone and jokes around with you and everyone else. The establishment is very clean and has great art work all around. I recommend making an appointment though and parking is on the road that you pay for unless you can find free parking elsewhere. Attempted to support this local business 4 times and each time was worse than the last. They only take appointments which should be a good thing except they don't keep them. The soonest I was ever taken was 25 minutes AFTER my appointment time and then they rushed through the manicure/pedicure because there was already someone else waiting for service. The most recent incident is that I had a mani/pedi done last week. While there I made another appointment for this week. She gave me an appointment for 2pm today. When I arrived, they had a underaged 13 year old girl working there managing the appointment calendar and she said my Appt wasn't listed in their book. All the nail technicians were mid-service and there were several people waiting. They said I would have to wait almost 2 hours to get a manicure even though I made an appointment one week ago. That being said, it's no better than walk in salons so not sure why they bother making appointments at all. I hear the owner is very nice but have never met her and the employees are doing a very poor job of maintaining her business. They double book appointments and then rush through your service and do shoddy work because they're stressed by the other customers waiting. The salon could be good if there was actual oversight and management but the employees are over their heads or simply trying to sabotage the business. I welcome the opportunity to share my experience with the owner. read more

first off ...while the cats away the mice are at play!!! the owner who i have met once before is a very nice young woman, but has no idea how to manage a business. when you own your own place you need to be present and involved. the worker she depends on Maria can not handle the responsibilities nor cares to!! that is why they are employees! why make an appt and one arrives and they are backed up by 35 mins? they don't acknowledge you and just assume you should sit there wait for them be ready for you. no apology and then they want to do a rush job because the person after you will be arriving soon after they just started you?? the way to handle a late person is either they have to have anyone available work on them, or start them until your next appt arrives then put the late person to the side until someone could finish them. you dont make you loyal customers with appt wait around and feels unappreciated...that is the reason for appts....the salon has been terribly hot very uncomfortable sweating. again paying for a terrible experience when it should not be. the location is convenient and is the only reason myself, my daughter and granddaughter go there. after my daughters appt was not in the book this week and many people waiting she will not be returning. owner get on your game before you lose your clients!!!! you need to tell them what top do, they dont tell you regardless if they have been there for some time. read more
