Was looking for a burger and actually heading to Sonic when I drove by this place and thought "Why not?" Building looks clean enough. Approached the drive-thru and I think I was welcomed in Spanish. Not a bad thing, just stating that's what happened. I assume she said can I help you so I went ahead with my order, the hamburger combo. Simple enough. She was super friendly and spoke English the rest of the time. One vehicle in front of me was taking a while. No problem, I'm not in a hurry. I finally pulled up, paid in cash, and waited. OK - so this place is not super fast. However, if they are making the food fresh, I can wait. The window opens, my bag is there. She asks me what the drink was again, and I tell her Diet Coke. She hands me the order and says burger and crispy fries. Dang the bag was heavy! My brain though, I don't think I ordered crispy fries so either that's how they come, or they burnt an order a little to long and that's their selling point. If the later - bonus points for covering up a mistake! I could see the conversation in the kitchen "Opps, fries down a little to long. Tell the customers we're selling crispy fries for a while!". Well, when I got home, I realized why the bag was heavy. It wasn't my order! It was a nice grilled chicken sandwich. Got the teriyaki chicken plate at the drive-thru. Like other reviews, it did take awhile. Not much to say other than it was actually pretty yummy. Fantastic Cheeseburger with magnificent French Fries. The best French Fries I've eaten in years. I'm a ketchup fan, but these fries are so good ketchup gets in the way of its great flavor. My friend had two tacos, which had generous portions of meat in them and the green salsa I sampled, was delicious. My friend told me their burritos are very good and their breakfast items are delicious and they serve them all day. He and his wife eat here regularly. The indoor seating is comfortable and spacious. Service was friendly and helpful. They brought our sauces and food to the table and graciously made a couple trips to get all we wanted. I highly recommend Fantasy Burger. read more

Since there were signs for customers to wear masks before ordering inside the store, I felt very safe ordering inside the store. There are also plexiglass barriers between us and the cashiers, making transactions safe! I got the chicken teriyaki and it was so good, the sauce was amazing and the chicken was extremely well grilled. Haven't been here since high school when it was a different name, but wow! Same delicious burgers! You can taste the yummy char. We asked for a small order of fried zucchini, and we got half a bag full of the most delicious zucchini I've had in my life. Way better than Tom's Place, Farmer Boys and Carl's zucchini. The portions are massive. My lettuce wrapped burger was way better wrapped than any other fast food joint including In N Out. A seriously great experience. Yes the drive thru line wait is a bit longer than other fast food joints, but that's because they are actually cooking your food. I want to go back to try their breakfast. Very impressed. read more

The staff didn't really seemed to care. I let that go and continues going. But today I ordered my usual teriyaki chicken and fried zucchini's and found maggots on my vegetables that my plate comes with. I called them and they apologized. Just moved to Placentia. Tried this spot once before and the food was mediocre and the wait in the drive through was INSANE... Passed by again and saw one car in the drive through and thought id give em a second chance. I should have kept going! I was just trapped for 18 minutes in the drive through line.. 1 car ahead of me then shortly after I ordered 2 more cars pulled up.. I arrived at 3:10 pm.. Didnt get to the window till 3:28 Then sat at the window another 4 minutes with no one coming. After that I peeled out... They offer refills on signature drinks that other places charge for refills. This place dies get quite busy on weekend mornings so stay away during those days or you will be waiting. Tonight was my 4th time getting takeout here I always get the plates, tonight I decided to get just a chicken plate, not a chicken and beef. But on the other hand, when I asked for water with my order, I was told, "Sorry, but I'm not allowed." Seriously. Food is good, nothing too special. However, they always take so long preparing the food. When going through drive thru, the wait is usually 10 minutes PER CAR. So if you see three cars ahead of you, expect to wait 30 minutes. Even calling ahead doesn't help because you'll still have to wait longer than the time you were given. read more
