This place has one of the best short order cooks around. No matter what you order it's perfectly cooked. We usually come for burgers and fries. But we've branches out! Value menu bean & cheese, not bad. Grilled chicken salad FANTASTIC- they even take the time to box they chicken separate from the salad. Why? Because the chicken is it off the grill. Excellent salad: whole boiled egg nice chuck of and croutons. Tip: ask for an extra ranch dressing. Most recently we tried the breakfast. OMG! Even better than the burgers! Eggs cooked perfectly. So their burgers are AMAZING!! But don't expect much from the staff when you come tho. Expect some immature kids. Every time I come, they make me hold at the speaker box, for more than 5min, when I get to the window, they are all just laughing and and talking, no acknowledgement to the customer. when I try asking the young man if I can one with grilled onions he cut me off trying to ask me for a drink. But I come for their food. And that's more than enough. I worked in customer service for 10years at 2 of the biggest customer service restaurants, and i know it's not easy. I used to love coming to this place. Since I was in middle school but now it seems like it's they have no intention on keeping customers. I waited 10 minutes at the drive through window before anyone even came to greet me. Thats not even the worst part- I don't see how we experience a global pandemic and restaurants still allow their cooks to touch peoples food without gloves. Oh how do I even start here? In some cases they do so many things right but in some they drop the ball. And when I say that I mean like on the one yard line on there fourth down. On February 02nd my friend and I visited this restaurant "drive thru" the cashier is always RUDE. She gives you the order always in a rush. This time around there was a man, also rude. Everyone knows the damn Cerritos Auto Square song..."Take 605 to South Street..." Yeah, growing up I went to school in Cerritos, and for most of my adult life, I've worked in Cerritos. I didn't need long with the menu as it looked like every Jim's, Tams, Yellow Basket, etc...complete with Colossal Burger (an insane burger that all of these places have that includes pastrami). I ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo with a Pepsi. After looking further, I saw that they have lots of other drink options going on including Juicy Whip (you know that other Orange Bang), Shakes and even Root Beer Floats...I'd think about upgrading my drink, but the fact was, it's 9:30PM and I probably shouldn't be eating anyway. It had been a crazy day for me that involved things as serious as a street fight to something as unique as watching a gentleman in a wheelchair pulling up to a drive-thru window. I thought, "well, I should get this for here and see how much crazier this day could get...I wanted to enjoy some 'local culture'" I grabbed a seat and my meal came out in less than 3 minutes...I found this a bit odd. I took a bite, and the burger had a curious, crunchy texture that I found really unique. Is it the bacon? Is it because it's charbroiled? Oh, wait, no...it's because the burger patty is a similar thickness to the bacon! Really? I forgot to make lunch for today so I went out to buy food. I have not been to this burger joint since a year ago. I ordered a hamburger and chili cheese fries (both very tasty). The lady who took my order said "it's tues buy one hamburger and get one free" would you like that? I said without hesitation yes. She was very sweet and friendly actually their were two ladies helping me because I used the drive thru. Quick with my order and informed me that they have specials mon - fri.
