Today I came In with about 14 biker buddies of mine and they attended us to the fullest!!! Making sure every order was correct and that it was as we pleased, Top tier service 10/10 will come again !!! Thank you guys for going up and out your way to attend us , the ambiance was so lovely and nice , they allowed us to rearrange there sitting arrangement to accommodate all 14 bikers!!! Food was nice and hot ! And plentiful , once again thank you guys for the service

(reference Camden, New Jersey) These chicken tacos are the best I have had in southern California! BAR NONE. Something unique and alive about the flavoring. This is certainly one of my FAVORITE "off the beaten path" spots in ALL OF L.A. Huge bonus. You wouldn't expect a mom and pop spot on this side of town to have free wifi... Well, IT DOES! Bonus bonus, it is right next to a GREAT barber shop where you can get authentic east coast fades.

PSA for anyone who is thinking of eating here. I witnessed a woman who works here take a serving spoon and taste the food then put the spoon back in the tray. Disgusting! I was waiting for traffic to move right in-front of the restaurant and I saw her clear as day double dip into one of the serving trays. So my sister recommended this spot. I've seen it many times over when I'd go to the barber shop next door. We originally headed there for the tacos. My sister told me that they hand make all their tortillas for each taco as you wait. Sure enough that's what I witnessed. I personally ordered their torta de carnitas. I've had some great tortas throughout the years. This one can easily feed two hungry adults. It was massive. The tacos were pretty good from what I heard. Apparently, our order was so large that the guy recommended we call our order in ahead of time. That was cool. read more

My experience with this tacos place was horrible. I wouldn't suggest going here if you're not Mexican cause they treated me really bad. I came in to order my food the guy didn't even take my order he asked me for everything I wanted and fake like he wrote it down and never started my food. I stood in there for 10 mins some other Mexican older men came in and they started servicing giving them a receipt and everything right away. At the end I ended up getting charged after and getting my food way after the other customers. To end it I told them my order twice that I didn't want red sauce and only green and they still gave me a red after me clearly telling them I want green. The food also was not good. read more

The food is really good most of the time but i really hate it when the older lady cooks the food. It has no seasoning no flavor and sometimes overcooked all burn. The younger guy that cooks there always makes the food really good, he should be the main chef as it looks like he's part time i dont see him often. I recommend replacing the older lady for a better cook or hiring the guy full time. Sometimes i want to ask who's cooking the food but i just go with it expecting its going to be good but when its the lady its always a disappointment.... read more

I ordered from Postmates: Nachos, quesadilla, tacos and taquitos combo. Nachos were my favorite part. The tacos were very good as well. I was not impressed At ALL with the quesadilla it was horrible mixture of cheese and lettuce. The taquitos were disappointing the rice and beans need serious help. I would go back just for nachos and tacos. read more

If you're coming down to Cuernavaca's Grill I encourage you to order an Alambre! It's seriously the best thing they have! Your choice of meat, bacon bits, onions, & green bell peppers. Served with Hand Made warm tortillas it definitely hits the spot! The beans they serve are not that great & neither is the rice, but hey, it isn't bad to have it with your delicious Alambre. I used to live nearby and this way my go to spot for my taco fix! Now that I've moved away, anytime I'm in the area I HAVE TO SWING BY! I love love love their freshly handmade tortillas! So soft, warm, and delicious. I wish more places took the time to make fresh tortillas like this place does. I always leave satisfied! P.S. No shit, BEST TACO I've ever had!! Here's the thing, I don't like Mexican food. It's the last thing I crave and it's so unhealthy, I'd rather go to bed hungry rather than indulge. We happened to be in this random and 'seedy' part of town for a party and my bf couldn't stop about how hungryyyy he was... so we had to Yelp. Found this spot and it did NOT disappoint !! Everything is good homemade tortillas, Menudo weekends only , the only thing I think they can do much better is the salsa either green or red it's to liquid like if they add to much water and worst when all the time the salsa is super cold ruins the. Taco and makes tortilla soggy read more

This is a hidden gem place in long beach. The place is small with indoor seatings. The make authentic mexican food with a reasonable price. The Tortas are delicious! I get full after eating one. The nachos are a bit greasy but still good and the portions are pretty big. read more

I like the saltiness you get from the ham and the texture of the melted cheese makes the empanada melt in your mouth. I did not like the elote. I was expecting something different. And again I tasted bell pepper. My boyfriend ate this one. He said he likes how it had a lot of corn and there was some type of sauce inside that brought of the flavor which he enjoyed. The ambiance of where this is located is cool. It's located in the Steel Craft and we were there for the game so it has a great atmosphere.

Drinks wise, they had Maracuya juice which is their local version of passionfruit in that region as well as Chicha Morada which is their Purple Corn beverage composed of cinnamon, cloves, fresh lime juice and when in Peru, they'll utilize pineapple husks for flavouring. It apparently is more popular in Peru than Coca-Cola and after a few sips you'll inevitably see why. Next up when I return will be the Causa trio, in the meanwhile this establishment comes heavily recommended from someone who has traveled to Peru as they hit the nail on the head with their offerings.
