Dry Spam musubi. I asked for sauce they said I had to pay for the sauce.
    Jacob N.

You go there and spend over 40 dollars for barely anything and they are stingy with the sauce. There was 2 drops on the musubis I ordered and all I could do was take 2 a bite and throw the rest of the dry musubi away. If I would've known that the dry musubis came with no sauce I wouldn't have got it. It's a disgrace to island food.

Very good meal here! I got the spicy chicken and shrimp, and it was amazing. It comes with rice and mac salad also. It's a nice area they share with the main chicken hot chicken restaurant and other places i saw inside. They have a nice sitting area outside. This place is just pick up orders so no inside seating in the actual restaurant. Customer service was good. Also got the strawberry pineapple lemonade which was refreshing. Yes an automatic i will come back again and try other items! I forgot to get sauces as i'm sure they have many different kinds. Chicken and Shrimp Plate 9.1\10

It's worth a Hoot to eat at Shootz! Shootz located in Long Beach is a hidden Hawaiian gem for your taste buds. You can't see it from the street, so park and walk into the open-air courtyard with lunch tables, and you'll instantly feel the vibe. I ordered the Kimchi Butter Chicken Sandwich with macaroni salad and a 2pc of musubi. If you like spice, go for the spicy version because it will be a perfect balance with the mac salad. No graceful way to eat it, but honestly, that just proves how good it is. If sandwiches aren't your thing, you can also go for a plate: kimchi butter chicken, shrimp, or a half-and-half mix, all served with rice and macaroni salad. I'm definitely coming back for the kimchi butter shrimp plate, it looked and smelled incredible. For drinks, I chose the Mint Peach Limeade, which was refreshing and bright. The cashier even offered me samples of all three flavors before I decided (exceptional service.) Shootz is cashless, so bring your card. My food was ready quickly, and the manager, David, made the experience even better. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely positive. Good music, hot food, and amazing vibes make this spot stand out. I'll absolutely be back with my son who's a fried chicken sandwich fan. I know for a fact he's going to love this place. Shootz does it right, and it's worth every bite.

When you order here please make sure there's no fly in your food otherwise you'll end up with a fly and it's larva. This is so gross and nasty I don't get how you can completely ignore a fly on someone's food. And to top it off there isn't anyone on shift who can possibly give a refund. No manager or shift lead. And the manager the useless trainer was calling was not answering. I would give zero stars if I could.

Food always hits the spot! Love getting the family trays as I feel they are worth it for the amount you get. I will say though that the ube beignets were a bit underwhelming as they were tiny and only contained 2 pieces for $6.99. If you compare that to Disneyland beignets, you would get more pieces that are bigger in size for that price. I recommend ordering ahead on their app so that it'll be ready when you arrive. Also you do get points for having an account on their app.

I have yet to have a bad experience here. This trip was more for a quick snack as we ordered the shrimp a la carte, and two sets of the spam brulee musubi. The musubi was good, seaweed was soft and not stale nor soggy despite the 40 minute trip home, but I am not the biggest fan of its sweetness. I do come here more for the shrimp as it's my absolute favorite. I tried it spicy this time and it is just perfect for my spice tolerance, full of flavor, and amazingly crispy. We also tried a side of the kimchi aioli this time and it was so creamy and added a nice change of flavor to dip the shrimp in (although the shrimp is good enough on its own anyway)

Shootz definitely lives up to the hype. The standout for me was the kimchi butter katsu. The pork was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the kimchi butter added a rich, slightly tangy kick that made it feel way more elevated than a typical katsu dish. It's the kind of flavor combo that sounds a little risky but actually works really well. I also ordered the spam musubi brûlée, which was a cool twist on a classic. The caramelized top gave it a subtle sweetness and texture contrast that balanced nicely with the savory spam. Creative without being gimmicky. For dessert, the ube beignets were solid. Light, fluffy, and not overly sweet, with a nice ube flavor that came through without being overpowering. A good way to finish everything off. Overall, the menu feels thoughtful and different from your standard comfort food spots. Portions were fair, and everything came out well-prepared. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Long Beach and want something a little more unique.

Exceeds expectations every single time!! This is probably one of my top 3 places to eat. I got it delivered and food was hot and service was quick. And I get the same meal every time mixed plate (kimchi butter katsu and shrimp) and 2 pc spam musubi. I mix up the drink every now and again. The mango tea lemonade is so good and refreshing. The mixed plate is really good , hearty. Well seasoned , good portion. Spam musubi has this brûlée mayo on top add a nice flavor

I wish I could give 10 stars because this was the best hawaiian food i've had in forever!! The sauce was amazing and I got extra but didn't need to! The musubi with crème brule was fire and the katsu butter chicken plate was phenomenal. The friendly servers were quick in delivery and the outdoor seating area is so cute. Will definitely be back

First time I had shootz was at the rodeo in Stanton. When I found out there was one in LB I was stoked. My family loves their kimchi butter chicken and shrimp. My daughter and I go for the non spicy, while my husband opts for the spicy version. The chicken and shrimp have a nice crisp to it. If you have leftovers it reheats nicely in an air fryer. I'm not really a fan of their macaroni salad. I just prefer it from other restaurants. We've never had any issues with our orders. I'm already looking forward to ordering it again.

Shootz is located in a mini food court shared with a couple other restaurants, they do offer outdoor dining with plenty of shade for these hot days. I ordered the spam musubi and an order of Ube beignets. The spam musibis were delicious, their brulee adds a sweet touch to the saltiness of the spam, Those Ube beignets are addicting!!! Made to order they come out nice and warm so watch your mouth. Nice crispiness on the outside with a very warm and fluffy inside. The Ube filling is delicouse, I'll definitely be returning for more!

SHOOTZ has been in my bookmarks for a long while and I finally got to try it this weekend! I love that they open at 10:30 AM recognizing some of us need rice earlier in the day. Parking is a little tight in this center, even when the other shipping containers at this "commons" are still closed. By the way, SHOOTZ is one of several shipping containers they parked at the corner of this strip mall. The other containers host other good food vendors and the containers created an enclosure that they covered with "sail" canopy to provide shade. Cute eating area. Got the plate #3 with shrimp with mild kimchi butter and it is FREAKIN AWESOME! Not too much butter that you get that weird greasy feeling in your mouth, but enough that the steamed white rice got flavor. The shrimp was still sooooooooo crispy. The spam musubi brulee had kewpie on top that was "bruleed". Also very good. The mango green tea lemonade was also super delicious. Not too sweet, but sweet enough. Legit. Would definitely come back again. Already told my coworkers about it.

I've tried the iced coffee and the matcha, and both were excellent -- not overly sweet, not watered down, just really well done. But what truly won me over? The breakfast sandwiches. I had a croissant sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese, and it was chef's kiss -- fresh, high-quality ingredients, generous portions, and packed with flavor. Not a single corner cut. And the service? Amazing. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of. That kind of hospitality is rare and it absolutely elevates the whole experience. This is officially my new coffee spot, hands down. Whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee or sitting down for a full breakfast, do yourself a favor and check this place out. I ordered the pulled ham sandwich, and even though it sounds simple, the flavor and combination of everything, especially with the yuca fries, was really impressive. Heard about Dilly's Sandwiches having the most unique rotating set of beers on tap in Long Beach,…read moreso had to come to try it. The taste portions were very reasonably priced, allowing to create your own flight (or two). Specifically scheduled an early afternoon to come to the Lakewood Village neighborhood of East Long Beach. My wife found an angled parking spot right in front. It wasn't too crowded inside and the four of us found easy, comfortable seating in the brightly decorated dining room. One places and pays for the order at the counter, with the proprietors being very friendly and engaged. They brought out our beers after the pour, and the sandwiches a bit after (since each is individually carefully made). Beers: - Northern Lager [Oxbow] - ($5 for 13oz pour) was clean, crisp and a hoppy aftertaste. - Infinite Hotel [The Wayfinder X Bierstadt] (marked as $3 but charged $4) is a rice lager and was the favorite of the group for its drinkability - Winteruption [JK's Farmhouse] ($3) is a cider with very strong maple syrup overtones: never tasted anything like it. - Hyper Paradise [Rare Barrel] ($4) - saison and ale with mango and passion fruit. I liked this beer very much. - A Place Like Home [Pure Project] ($3) - Nitro poured Extra Special Bitter. - Double Negative [Grimm] ($4) - Imperial Stout, which I really enjoyed. - Amongst Friends [Sante Adairius] ($4) - a cherry saison, unusual and was glad to sample. A lot of work was put into creating this flight, with the careful pours and markings to make sure I knew what was what. I really appreciated the opportunity to sample all of these on-tap. In terms of the food, the group as a whole really liked them, though I guess I wasn't as impressed with my two samples, mainly because it used non-descript deli meat in OK quantities, heating them up when necessary. Hot Beef ($18) was my wife's, and it had been griddled with cheese to form a crispy lattice. The Ham and Cheese ($16) was served cold and had potato chips inside which my mother-in-law liked (saving the other half for home). Our friend and I split the Hot Turkey ($16) and Pastrami No 19 style ($20). The pastrami meat was piled high and the cole slaw was crisp and good, but was served cold (should have read the description more closely) and mediocre rye bread broke apart quickly. The Hot Turkey ($16) was served on ciabatta that had been grill pressed for a long time, creating a wonderful crust as good as any sandwich I've had. But the filling was OK, using standard turkey breast slices from a loaf and an ok stuffing...using hand carved turkey would have made a big difference here, but understand it's hard to do. Strangely, even though it's a pickle adorned shop, each sandwich just came with an ordinary pickle spear, what one would expect from a diner, not a deli. And the prices are on the higher side, especially with no sides and most not being particularly ginormous. But I loved how each sandwich used different breads, and how some of them were toasted very well. And having the opportunity to try these unique beers made it a really good experience.

However, all the ingredients that go into their sandwiches are loaded with flavor......the bread, the meat, the sauces. On a positive note, they give you big portions, the staff is friendly and efficient. Won't be going back.

It's his favorite because the acai is so rich and the simplicity of the toppings makes the acai shine even more. There plenty of seating but I always take my order to go. Free street parking out front. Truly a local favorite for the Bixby Knolls area. Even if you don't live nearby, it's a must try breakfast/lunch spot!

I hate nothing more than to struggle bite my bagel. Here, you can assemble your own concoction or choose from a list of re-made options. I ordered the Desi ($11.75) simply because I was curious about the hollowed out bagel situation. I suppose this is the healthier of their options because it comes with egg whites. It also comes decked out with bacon, avocado, jalapeño, cream cheese + lemon pepper. I chose a Parmesan bagel as my vessel and it was a very tasty breakfast bagel. There were hints of lemon pepper which was an interesting flavor addition. For a more traditional breakfast bagel, Joe's Special ($10.50) was quite special. It's a bacon, egg, cheese, jalapeño cream cheese + lemon pepper breakfast bagel. This was a very solid breakfast bagel without the usual accompanying grease. Again with the lemon pepper lol. They also offer an extensive drink selection which I appreciate. I'll definitely be back to try their lunch bagels or to simply pick up bagels for home.

Jersey Mike's Subs Located in Bixby knolls off Long Beach blvd in huge parking lot that houses Trader Joe's Blu Burro Pets Mart and more. The store is small and clean with a youngish staff and chill ambiance they're ready to take your order with a nice attitude. I decided on a large The Original Italian dressed Mike's way it's made with thinly sliced salami pepperoni provolone cheese ham prosciutto and cappacuolo lettuce thinly sliced white onions and tomatoes a drizzle of vinegar oil salt and pepper I added white cheddar a little mayo pickles Italian relish spread and crispy bacon this sandwich was huge I immediately regretted ordering large regular would better suited my small stomach this big boy set me back $29.00 including a chocolate chip cookie. Drooling alert y'all ....... It was worth every penny it was tender and flavorful deliciousness upon deliciousness and absolutely hands down one of the best sandwiches that I've eaten in 2024 and in the last five years. If you like Italian sandwiches make yours exactly as mine is it's soo good you will thank me. Chocolate chip cookie I know what you're thinking it's just a cookie lies you tell this mother f...ing cookie is the bomb it was tender and buttery and packed a bunch of flavor in each bite I immediately regretted not buying that 3 pack they had at the register they're so good. I dropped $29.09 on a sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie and would do it again yes it worth every penny and I have more than half of my sandwich leftover. As I always say when the food is exceptional run get you some don't walk and run get you some. Until next time it's just me Shawn C.

The pineapple added to what's basically a Cuban style sandwich sounds different at first, but it works perfectly. The balance of sweet, savory, crispy, and smoky was spot on. Everything tasted super fresh and the bread held everything together perfectly without getting soggy. My original plan was to eat half and save the rest for later... yeah, that didn't happen. Ended up finishing the whole thing because it was that good. Service was friendly, food came out quick, and the whole spot had a really chill local vibe. Definitely a hidden gem if you're in the area. Highly recommend this place and I'll for sure be back to try more off the menu.
