First time at this little spot. Decided to get my nails done late in the day, and called to make an appt for a few hours later before they closed. Luckily, they accepted with no problem and a few hours later I was walking into the salon. My gel mani is perfection, and Susan gave me some info on the ins and outs of a gel mani. Also got a pedi, which came out top notch. Overall, loved this spot. It's in a little plaza, and the shop itself is small, but has no effect on the quality of work. They pay attention to detail, which is my biggest concern. Will def be back. read more

Is it because I'm cheap? The salon is small and subtle with no personality just like the job they did on my nails. I usually get medium coffin length but I did short natural square a little rounded. I told her I wanted them Thin and filed almost like coffin. I got neither. Some corners are a bit too rounded The pinky was unlevel and a bit thick. She worked that one alone for what seemed like 5 minutes. Polish itself was an ok job she cleaned the sides up but they are still not as evenly painted as I'm use to. She didn't use a base coat and barely a top one. At least the bathroom was clean. $22 for a full set. I promise not to be cheap anymore. read more

WOW. Now you're lying? I'm almost positive this isn't actually Susan because she wouldn't ever speak to me this way. I DID make an appointment how dare you. I called ahead and specifically made an appointment. I was not "Obviously upset", I was in an extremely good mood and I was kind and respectful and even tipped happily. The only small issue I had was my crooked pointer but I made it clear that I've had crooked nails before and it didn't bother me that much. Susan herself even commented on it being crooked and ASKED me if the shape was okay. I said i didnt think it would bother me. The issues came when my polish started peeling 3 days after I got them done. As for the price, you can lie all you want, but I was always charged significantly lower because I've been coming religiously for so long. And the funny thing is, I have gotten LONGER nails and been charged less in the past. But go ahead with your theory of "the price having to do" with my MEDIUM length. Lol I'm shocked at the blatant lies coming from this owner. Disgusting awful way to run a business. Occasionally I would get cut, or notice that if I got gel, it would crack a little or my polish would be patchy. But they were the cheapest I had found in the valley and they were so close to me so it was convenient. Unfortunately, the last time that I went, I received a really poor job. I had called ahead of time and scheduled an appointment for 11am, but they didn't even end up calling me to sit in the chair until 11:37. I was a little stressed, because I had work in a couple hours, and I was already cutting it close as it was, but no biggie. Well they seemed to be running behind because Susan said to me "I have an appointment soon, if she comes early can you wait?" I said "No, I have to go to work." I was also upset that my appointment was almost 40 minutes late, yet she seemed so eager to be on time for someone else. It was downhill from there. She rushed through my nails and showed absolutely no care about them. I got sliced a couple times in my cuticles, I had three crooked nails, and she didn't even glue my left pointer finger on securely, and she filed it to the side so bad because she had put it on crooked, so it was just a weird skinny mess. She then sloppily put my gel color on, missing parts of my actual nails on some fingers, and getting polish all over my cuticles on others, and then she charged me $40!!!!! Because I've been a loyal customer for 2+ years, they have always charged me $28-$32 depending on length, for my gel sets! I understand paying $40 or much more for a GOOD gel set, but not for what I walked out with. She also made a comment like "Next time, call before and tell me that you're getting long nails so I'm not running late." What?! I told you I wanted a full gel acrylic set, YOU were 40 minutes late for my appointment that I scheduled ahead of time! Later on at work, 3 different people on 3 different occasions asked me what was wrong with my left pointer finger and that I should go back and make them fix it. 3 days later, my right thumb nail peeled completely off as I was opening a ziplock bag. I went back to get it fixed. A week and a half later, my right pointer finger's gel peeled completely off. I just went to a new place to get my botched job fixed, and they really did amazing. The man who was fixing them though kept shaking his head at the quality that I received from Fantasy Nail. I'm upset because this was really my spot for a good while, but I never would have expected to feel so rushed and unwanted AND receive such horrible quality nails at a place that I've been giving my money to for years read more

Debated writing a review because owner was "nice" but honestly this was a terrible experience that deserved to be shared. 1. Limited selection of colors I've seen in Nail Salon 2. Do not have proper pedicure chairs or 'sink' to soak feet in, except manually carrying a basin of water which gets cold quiet quickly... 3. Chair is far away from pedicure "stand" so if you're normal height person that's slightly shorter, prepare for your back to hurt from stretching in awkward angle for 45 min and kept fidgeting trying to help my back. She apologized and said she'd be done soon taking note of my obvious discomfort but I was understanding and didn't dock them too much. 4. Came again for acrylics set - owner/ older lady was thorough but incredibly rough and made my one finger cuticle bed bleed a lot. She apologized but kept being rough during the full set that it hurt 4 other finger cuticles and during washing, acetone use, polish, stung like hell. Completely destroyed cuticles on all fingers even if they all didn't bleed. Stayed too long on one nail nail with drill it even burned which I realized is a thing after looking it up. I gave her my complete trust, did not complain and bore the pain several times. 5. Used a freaking Metal nail filer to separate my flesh from nail during acrylics and carved/ dug into my cuticles which I've never seen! Which hurt me several times in a very painful way. She explained it would help separate cuticles for cleaning/ adhering whatever reason. But What. The. Heck! What technique is that especially when you are not careful? 6. Asked to do a simple daisy design on 2 nails. The most basic daisy. Kept messing up! Tried 4 times and it was getting ridiculous. Said no worries and told her to just finish of with regular single color. At one point, I wanted to take from her and just do so myself. There was no logic behind application and she asked if I wanted it another way and I said no because this is what I wanted and it was simple enough. I even gave her other options to make more easier. Bizarre. 7. She's older and apologetic but what an awful experience. Tried the place because prices were reasonable and had good reviews. And yes, the two times I went; there's always been a wait. Ended up going elsewhere to have someone finish the design because I don't get this stuff done often and wanted it done for an occasion. And other lady was kind enough to reshape nails do match both hands for a couple fingers that were off, and even added cuticle oil. My cuticles were SO dry and damaged after asking original Lady to even cut/ clean them because they were so damaged from her acrylic application but still came our looking gross. I went to second place same day an hour after because it was just a bad experience and I'm glad they were able to rectify. I don't think there's any point in ever going back. I wish it worked out. Two very sweet sisters that own the place. Very kind and always willing to accommodate their customers. They even give you advice on how to care for your nails. Very nice service. Their gel manicure is $23 and regular pedicure is $19 (my usual go to services) they do an incredible job. This is the first place I've ever come to where they ACTUALLY scrub my feet to the point where my feet stay soft for weeks! You should make an appointment before coming considering it's just the two of them and they can get overwhelmed with customers waiting. So call and come on time and have the time of your life. So I went to this salon because of the glowing reviews on yelp. I called and asked for a gel manicure because I wanted a manicure that would last for a few weeks. I had never had a gel manicure but coworkers swear by them, so I wanted to try it out. The owner stated that they offer gel products. When I made it in for my appointment, the owner took the time to explain the pros and cons of gel products. While it's possible that the manicure can last for weeks, the gel can also make your nails thin and brittle similar to acrylic nails. After her briefing, I decided against a gel manicure and got an old fashion manicure. I was satisfied with my manicure and it lasted maybe 5 days. It is rare that a owner will forgo a larger pay out to honestly tell a customer the truth about a product. I appreciate it and I will patronize them again. read more

She also rudely asked for my nationality and told me to pull down my face mask to see who I was, which was very weird and not following Covid guidelines, especially with the omnicron variant out now.
