    Roasted Chicken Vegan Pizza
    Rakshak R.

vegan roasted chicken pizza was good! served on a flatbread dough, and was seasoned well. seems this place has a partnership with the previous owner of TLC cafe so that's cool!

No signs allowed, but they are located in this tall office building.

Our local animal shelter decided to hold a fundraiser and partnered with Far East Pizza to do it. I had never heard of this restaurant,, so I went on to their website to check out the menu. It's like an Italian restaurant with an Indian twist. They offer pizzas and pastas, but they use Indian ingredients. For instance, instead of pizza dough, you get naan. Instead of pepperoni, you get Tikka chicken. We ordered two pizzas and a Caesar salad. My vegetarian pizza was slightly over cooked. That was unfortunate because every bite had a bit of a burnt taste to it. The naan was topped with paneer, cauliflower and mushrooms. It was okay, but I wouldn't order this again. My husband got the Tikka Tikka Time pizza, and it was quite tasty. The sauce was somewhat sweet and the Tikka chicken was moist and flavorful. We both agreed that this dish would be worth ordering again. It didn't look like there were any gluten-free options on the menu, so we just went with what they had. Our Caesar salad was huge. We split it, and then still had enough to split again the next night. Instead of using croutons, there were small pieces of naan mixed in. It didn't really work because the naan became soft and chewy. Also, the Caesar dressing was not to my liking. They do serve the dressing separately, so you can forgo it altogether and top your salad with your preferred home dressing. It was a lot of food. The pizzas are bigger than a single serving. Prices are NOT cheap.I think my total was just over $40. This used to be a deli in an office building. However, due to Covid, no one is working in the building and they got approval to operate from 4pm-10pm as a takeout operation for pizza. Note, if you pick up the food yourself, you will not be able to enter the building. Also, there is no signage indicating that there is a restaurant inside. Sadly, the office building won't let them post any signs. If you talk to them on the phone, they are very good about telling you to drive to the loading dock behind the building and calling them to bring out your food. Your best bet is to order online and let Grub Hub pickup and deliver your food to you. I'm impressed with this family restaurant being creative not only in their menu options, but also in their ability to survive and thrive through these tough Covid times.

This place is located in my office building which is a plus. So far I've had the Tikka Tikka Time Pizza and Tikka Tok Pasta. Both were really good. I love Indian food so this was a great addition to their Cafe menu. The staff is very friendly. I'll definitely be dining here again.

This review is so far for just the butter chicken pizza (which I added paneer chunks as well). I just finished riding my bike and decided I wanted to try this place out. Let me say that the location of this place is awful. If you follow google maps, it will drop you off in the parking lot of the Argo Data Resource building. No signs, no banners, or labels visible from the street. The only indication is a small, printer page size logo of Far East Pizza on a door with a dock loading ramp leading up to it. When I called the place, they told me to wait by the loading docks. If you haven't been here before, you may miss where this is located. I uploaded a photo of what the loading dock looks like and where the staff will be coming and going with your food. Unless you really want to avoid third party app fees, Id say just get the food from here delivered. Once I received the pizza, all the hassle from before disappeared. Technically this is a flatbread pizza, so don't expect any glutinous chew. What you get instead is this delightfully fluffy, pillow soft bread that's still sturdy enough to hold everything together. The ingredients are top notch. I love the fact that they DONT use Lisanti, who has a monopoly over the pizza ingredients in North Texas. I could taste everything, especially the tikka masala sauce. The chicken was tender and moist from the gravy it was soaked in. The flat bread emulates the experience of dipping naan into masala gravy. The chunks of toppings, whether they be chicken or paneer, offered a lovely contrast to the soft flatbread. I think some of my biggest gripes would be this pizza could use just a few more pieces of the main ingredients (chicken, paneer, etc). I don't think it needs to have a whole rotisserie chicken on top, but for the price, I could have seen more pieces. I personally could have seen more basil on this pizza as well, but that's just me. At the end of the day, this was primarily an Indian based meal, with little resemblance to an Italian pizza, other than its presentation. The owner was also nice enough to let me try his yellow dessert. While it had a creamy base with a mealy texture scattered throughout, the dish didn't have much of an aroma. I feel this was sorely lacking some type of cardamom or floral aspect to really hit the spot. There were points where I tasted black pepper when eating the almonds. Either they accidentally got pepper in the mix or something else, but it threw me off for a few bites (specifically on the top layer). I see some people have complained about the price and the portion they are receiving. I will fully admit this is not the type of pizza you want to order if you are a broke college kid or a starving family of six. This place works best for singles or couples you want something different. If you can order a 20+ dollar pizza from Urban Crust in Plano with no complaints, then this place is no different. Its labelled specialty pizza for a reason! I'll be curios to try their other offerings at some point.

Excellent fusion pizzas! Fresh ingredients, great taste, and satisfying all around. For the naan size, half a pizza is enough for one meal for me. This is not a tomato based pizza but I was craving Indian food so this hit the spots Their kashimiri kheer is also well made and not the buffet generic type kheer. Will be back.

Way better than anything in Florida. Unfortunately, the service was horrid. To make it worse, we were seated near the Kitchen where you could see all of the servers gathered, yanking and totally ignoring their guests. Took eight minutes after we were seated to get anyone to come over and take our order. Others wanted to leave but I knew that the wings would be great. Just need a good manager!

Went there tonight, meeting teammates for a going away dinner. Apparently they won't seat you until everyone in your party arrives. Something I have always found lame, especially if most of your party is there. We were missing one person of 8 and they wouldn't seat us. Then everyone arrived and we were seated. I generally like to start with a drink so I went to the bar, which wasn't busy, and was told since we already had a table I could no longer order at the bar. I have never heard of any other place ever imposing such a rule. I didn't want to wait for my server but the lady at the bar quite rudely kept telling me 'that's company policy'. I had my debit card out and would've either kept tab open or closed it but the wouldn't even take my order. I ended up going back to my table drinkless and finally after a long wait got my drink order in, which was terrible. I ordered the simplest drink to make, a vodka tonic. Not sure how they messed that up but they did. Tonic water was low and seemed like it was cut with water. Couldn't taste the vodka and I had ordered it with Tito's but it could've very well been Smirnoff or Russian Standard because I couldn't taste it. Then there's the automatic 20% gratuity because of our party size. That I know they are not alone in doing but not everyone does that. I won't name names here but within a quarter mile there are at least 4 other places that do not have auto gratuity. Probably won't be coming back here. Like I said, their burger was decent, but I can get the same quality burger most anywhere else and better service.

This is what I had: Chicken and pineapple: 10/10 signature classic pie. The grilled chicken flavor goes well with the sweet and citrus flavor of the pineapple all finished well with the pizza sauce. Crazy Rodeo: 10/10 all ingredients all play well together and create a crazy rodeo party in the mouth. The meatiness of the ingredients really shine through. I could not taste the honey. So, we thought - why not, it's close- let's go and see if we like it better this time. Let's start with the positives. We arrived shortly after 5pm and the place was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The server was friendly and immediately took our drink orders. She was attentive and service was fast. No complaints with her service at all. It seemed pretty chill and low key. A few people trickled in but nothing crazy for a Saturday night. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and I was pleasantly surprised. The color of the pretzel had me fooled. It was pretty dark in color which usually indicates overdone and hard so when it was amazingly soft inside - wow! So good! We loved the mustard and cheese sauce that came with it. My husband and son ordered a burger and said they were tasty, my other son ordered the chicken strips and said they were good. Negative for the meal, I ordered the blackened cod tacos and subbed the chips and salsa for the Gilroy Garlic Fries. I was very excited for the garlic fries since we are originally from that area and are very knowledgeable about the famous Gilroy Garlic Festival and all things Garlic. Here's where this dish wasn't exciting - the tacos were pretty bland. I took the coleslaw from my son's chicken tenders to try and add more flavor and make the taco more palatable. I only ate 1 of the 2 because there really was just zero flavor. The fries were probably an even greater disappointment. In the center, was a very small amount of cheese and maybe garlic? It had virtually zero garlic taste - I was searching for it. It was a sad version of garlic fries. I would not order that again unless they were improved upon. I went back and forth on 3 stars versus 4 stars because while service was great and fast, I can't confidently say I'd recommend it to someone. I may say it's a great place to chill for a beer and an appetizer but definitely NOT a meal. I think if your expectations are to stick with the appetizer list then you're probably going to like it. They have a large beer selection and plenty of screens for your favorite games.
