Ok I cane to try their coffee and debated on food options. I heard alot of hype about Faregrounds and so I se to try it, I only ended up trying the salted vanilla foam latte and honestly it was just decent to me. Thought the coffee could have been better but it was not to me. The service was nice, the man at the cashier was amicable and gave good insight on what to get. The ambiance is like cafe/coffee spot and very small inside. I do want to one back one day tho to try their sandwiches! But after today I hope the hype is correct about the sandwiches. -Marshay D.

I have been bamboozled by yet another breakfast burrito. I stopped by for a short rib breakfast burrito as the menu description made it sound really interesting and somewhat unique compared to the majority of those found throughout LA. The menu says this burrito comes with "eggs, short rib, crispy potatoes, fontina, pickled red onions, and gochujang aioli". The cashier also asked me what sauce I wanted which I thought was odd since the burrito already comes with the gochujang aioli, but she offered a cilantro, chipotle mayo, and "hot sauce". I went for the cilantro sauce getting confused and not thinking to ask about the gochujang. I also later found out the "hot sauce" is a calabrian hot sauce and not just any old "hot sauce". If that was mentioned I probably would've tried that but how many people think to ask what kind of "hot sauce" is used when it's not specified to begin with? The cross section looked decent but definitely so little short rib compared to the other photos and tik tok videos I've seen. Naive me should've known these were paid influencers getting special treatment, so obviously they're getting more short rib. The short rib itself had decent flavor but it was just so dry. The potatoes were not crispy at all and more like homestyle potatoes, soft. What really made things worse was the missing gochujang aioli and fontina cheese. There definitely was not any of it in here and I'm kicking myself for not bringing it up to the staff but honestly, it's something that shouldn't be forgotten to begin with. The cilantro sauce was basically sludge and very mild in flavor so it didn't elevate the burrito flavor much. To drink I tried the recommended Salted vanilla foam latte, although not too sweet, it didn't have much flavor. I couldn't help but notice the lack of cleaning too. I sat for almost an hour (9:30-10:18) before I saw anyone clean a table while many people had left tables dirty. Even when I sat at the first table and moved to a second table, I had to clean up spilled sauce, sticky residue, and wet areas on my tables to not dirty my own arms or phone. The space isn't very cozy and the interior tables are crammed together. I asked the cashier if the wi-fi works fine outside and she said the wi-fi "isn't very good and pretty spotty, it usually doesn't work outside". I was hoping to initially try their caesar wrap and ended up here for breakfast so I tried that and was disappointed but now I don't have plans to return for anything else.

This review is for drinks only. I tried the salted maple iced latte and it lives rent free in my head. I dream of this and need to stop by whenever I'm in the area. Perfectly sweet, perfectly creamy, perfectly coffee-ey. SALTED MAPLE LATTE, you'll thank me later.

Faregrounds is by far my favorite matcha spot. The matcha is super tasty and just perfect. I also really enjoy their coffee. It's such a nice spot to sit and eat and their service is amazing. Highly recommend!!

I tried fareground for the first time time last week, and I instantly fell in love with their coconut water Matcha. It's refreshing and full of flavor. Their regular Matcha is just as good and cream top is insane. The service is impeccable and it's a very cute area to sit indoors Or outdoors.

This is one of best banana matcha in the area! It's very hard to find banana matcha which tastes good and not artificial or without taste. So happy I found this place. The sandwiches were fantastic, waited about 30 min for them because place was very busy but I didn't mind. The only thing is they gave me regular chicken to the wrap instead the crispy one I ordered. Taste of everything was fantastic, I'd recommend!

Finally gave the viral Chicken Caesar Wrap a try, and for once the internet didn't overhype it. The chicken was perfectly cooked--juicy, crispy, and packed with flavor. Every bite had the perfect balance of fresh romaine, creamy Caesar dressing, shaved parmesan, and just the right amount of crunch. The wrap stayed crisp without getting soggy, and the portion was surprisingly filling. This is one of those rare viral foods that actually deserves the attention. If you've been debating whether it's worth the hype, the answer is absolutely yes. I'll definitely be back for another.

A very solid place for breakfast and matcha! I've been to faregrounds twice now and the service is always excellent, everyone who works there is so sweet and patient. I got the breakfast burrito with added bacon and it was pretty good (though I was starving so my review might be a little skewed lol). It's a good size and the filling is generous. Love that they include one dipping sauce for free, no upcharge! I got the cilantro crema and it was the perfect addition. My only complaint is I wish there were more textures in the burrito, it kind of turns into mush after a few bites. Wish the potatoes were crispier! But overall still really delicious. Drink-wise I got a matcha americano the first time and a matcha blueberry the second time. The matcha blueberry was so good, their homemade blueberry sauce isn't too sweet which I appreciated. Overall everything was solid and it's a great spot if you want breakfast that doesn't completely break the bank.

Small intimate breakfast/brunch/lunch spot tucked away in BH. Food was delicious but their matcha was next level. Why I am trying this now is beyond me. 1. Short rib breakfast burrito: braised short rib, scrambled eggs, hash, pickled onions-game changer, and Gochujang aioli all wrapped up in a toasty flour wrap. Choice of sauces but honestly can go easily without the dipping sauces. Chose the cilantro one and no regrets here. 1000% recommend 2. Açaí bowl:balanced my salty with a cold and sweet flavor. This açaí bowl was just divine with its icy cold açaí base, almond granola, fresh banana slices and blueberries all drizzled with coconut bites and honey. Fantastic. Also highly highly recommend 3. Rose matcha: washed everything down with rose foam matcha. Excellent as well. The rose aroma was delicious. Overall 1000% recommend. Coming back to try the lunch menu.

I stopped by around opening time on a Thursday, and it was already pretty busy, which was a good sign. I ordered the Breakfast Steak Burrito and the Pistachio Cream Matcha. The burrito is definitely on the pricier side, especially with the added protein, but the portion is huge and very filling. They weren't skimpy with the ingredients, the filling ratios were well-balanced, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The Pistachio Cream Matcha was definitely on the sweeter side, but it had a great pistachio flavor that I really enjoyed. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick despite how busy it was. Parking was also surprisingly easy. There's a garage on N. Bedford Dr., across from Jon & Vinny's, that offers free parking for the first two hours before 6 PM, and it's only about a 2-minute walk to the shop. Overall, I'd definitely come back to try more of their menu items!

Food was excellent, purchased a short rib and chicken Ceaser wrap, the cilantro dressing was beyond delicious ! Service was awesome, gentleman was helpful and made great recommendations, the place itself was a vibe, modern chill and welcoming. Also got a Tiramisu late with coconut milk, top tier!

I am so amazed at how good this place actually is. Although it is on the pricey side, the wraps and sandwiches are actually gigantic! Yes, indeed, the hype for that caesar wrap is worth it. You must go and try it with the crispy chicken. They already put enough dressing in the wrap itself, but they also include a small side of it too. I also tried the favorited spicy don, which was enough for 2 people as well. The cheese was melted perfectly onto the chicken cutlet and the perfect amount of heat is in the vodka sauce. It also came with a side of chipotle sauce and extra vodka sauce which was hot in it's container. My friend tried their banana matcha and rates it a 5/5 and I tried the tiramisu latte which I would rate a 4/5. You can taste the quality in their food and drinks. Luckily, upon my arrival, the line was not long, but as I was sitting outside enjoying my food, the line began to grow. Honestly, please check this place out. I will be back soon!!

We were told the wait would be 1 hour. We ended up waiting over two and a half hours with nothing to show for it and some people waited more than three! It was a terrible experience and one of the wait staff was pretty rude and did not offer any help. They also made no effort to offer anyone waiting drinks, discounts, etc. Supposed to be good, but that wait makes everything taste bad. Love this place so much! Everytime I'm in Beverly Hills I always stop by because it's a reliable and healthy place that uses clean ingredients which is so hard to find these days. Walking into the establishment is welcoming. Friendly staff. Easy to order personally or via kiosk. Good selection of eats & drinks. I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon for a $2 added charge total $16. Way too expensive even for Beverly Hills. Took over :15 for the order to arrive. The burrito came with the greasiest fried tasteless potatoes. The tortillas wrap was chewy and overly lard taste. Bacon was good. Avocado was just ok. All I can say is WOW WOW WOW! This place is absolutely adorable, and the food is beyond delicious. I tried the breakfast burrito, and you can tell it's made with the freshest, cleanest ingredients--I've never had anything like it! And don't even get me started on their strawberry matcha--it's on a whole other level. If you're in the Beverly Hills area, this spot is a must-try. I've visited this place many times, and usually, the food is fantastic. However, during my most recent visit, the food was just okay, not quite up to the usual standard. On top of that, I noticed that the small brunette woman with the Chipotle bag tattoos seemed increasingly more miserable each time I saw her, which affected the overall vibe. This time was especially a low vibrational experience due to her attitude. I think the red-haired girl would make a great manager and should seriously be considered for her position in the next few months. *Update* Owner reached out and offered to make up my experience. So updating to 4 stars. It's nice they care about their business and wish them the best in the future. A bit disappointed I chose to have lunch here. I got the Miso Caesar salad with chicken and a matcha latte with coconut milk. The matcha is ok - the cup wasn't full and didn't really like they charge $1 for alt milk option and I didn't see signage saying how much it was for alt milk. For the salad - the dressing was not enough when you add chicken so I had to throw out a lot of it since I'd be eating bland lettuce afterwards. The chicken is not crispy as it states on the menu - I thought it would be the same crispy chicken as in the sandwiches but it's more like sliced deli meat. The Parmesan was bland and not enough and the breadcrumbs weren't even crispy and again not enough. The lettuce had more crunch than the breadcrumbs. Lastly the dressing tasted nothing like Miso or Caesar to me. It tasted like honey mustard for some reason and all I could taste was mustard. The service was friendly although I found it odd that they offered the lady in front of me and after me a piece of flourless cake to try after I ordered and not me but I was within earshot of them offering it. I know they're newly opened so maybe they have things to work out, but for the price - I wasn't happy with what I got as I've had better for less. read more

I came here today with my friends and we were really excited about trying their matcha because it is very popular. We all ordered one and they all had different foams but we all did not like it. We couldn't finish it unfortunately so we had asked if we could switch it to something else and they said yes which we really appreciated. When we all got the new drinks (different lattes) they were still not good but we didn't say anything about that because we didn't want to bother them and decided to leave. Some of the staff were nice about it all but two girls were definitely not happy about the whole situation and we felt it. We had also ordered food for all 4 of us (spicy don, Thai basil steak and Caesar salad wrap) and it was okay but nothing stood out for us. I got two sandwiches and two drinks for my order which came out to be around 60 dollars which isn't horrible but I just did not think it was worth it. It is a very popular spot but it just wasn't for us. Also wanted to add that we saw it online and it looked so visually appealing, we were so excited to come here and drove an hour but were very disappointed. read more

Went for the soft opening launch and got to try their coffee, sandwiches, and a salad. My husband and I split two sandwiches: the spicy don and the pink tahini. We also ordered the Miso Caesar salad. Every single item was delicious. For being a coffee shop, we didn't expect that much flavor in the food items. We left very satisfied. The salted vanilla latte was insanely good, not too sweet and a mellow touch of salt created such a great balance of flavors. Service was amazing, Natalie helped us decide our food choices and she was on point. Food came out fast and everything was fresh. Cute ambiance that made it feel very cozy. Both my husband and I loved the experience and will definitely be back for more. What a great team and amazing establishment. read more

Order the pastrami breakfast burrito and thank me later. Also the B.E.C. on a sourdough baguette was to die for as well. Finally an establishment after my own heart with that crispy bacon move They also offer lunch with some amazing sandwiches and tasty AF Miso Chicken Caesar salad. GO GO GO! They have Build Your Own (BYO) options in bowls and smoothies with various sizes from 12 oz to 16 oz to 24 oz. Then, I saw Very Berry Smoothie that also has acai along with various berries. Well, why not get both acai and other berries. Very Berry Smoothie it is! OMG, it was so deliciously good and sweet! It comes in layers of fruit goodness. I couldn't stop drinking it. I would definitely get it again. Price was over $10, but worth every penny. Highly recommend Oakberry Acai! I'll look forward to seeing them again. The first time I was told they were having problems with their machine. I came back the next day and it was fixed. I found the menu to be a bit overwhelming, so I went with a basic Acai bowl (which is actually a cup) and pretty much instantaneously regretted coming here. The Acai mixture in my opinion is too sweet. I want to taste the acai- not be overwhelmed with sugar. It was gross. Next, I found the granola on the cup to be very unsatisfying. It just wasn't good at all. I know someone else mentioned a rancid taste. While I don't think mine was rancid, at first I kind of got that taste, but decided, it was just a lackluster granola. I felt the peanut butter was skimped on. It's like they smeared it to coat the inside of the cup to give the illusion of a peanut butter layer, but when I got to it, there was barely any. The fruit on top was so little- the variety I ordered only had banana. There's wasn't anything I could see that also had PB and granola...those ingredients are pretty standard everywhere else, but here you would have to pay extra. Ultimately the acai here is too sweet, and the restrictive nature of ingredient variety are a hard no for me.

The aesthetic is effortlessly beautiful, with several picture-perfect corners that are perfect for a quick selfie or capturing a cute coffee-date moment. Parking can be a bit tricky, so just be mindful when entering, as the parking entrance is fairly narrow. However, once inside, the experience is lovely. The service was exceptional--everyone was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. I requested my chicken on the side with my Chicken Caesar Wrap, and they happily accommodated my preference, which I truly appreciated. I also tried their Banana Walnut item, and one thing I can confidently say is that everything tasted incredibly fresh. The ingredients were clearly high quality, and you can tell they put care into their food. Although the flavors weren't exactly my personal preference, that's simply due to my own taste palate. The quality itself was undeniable. The Banana Walnut selection was especially fresh and enjoyable. Overall, the food felt clean, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. If I find myself back in the area, I would absolutely return. Fairgrounds offers a beautiful atmosphere, wonderful service, and fresh, quality food. Working right across the street, I've been hoping for a place like this to pop up in the area, and Faregrounds did not disappoint. The vibe is laid-back, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and the space itself feels like the perfect mix of cozy and modern. Now, let's talk about the food--because that's where they really shine. The sandwiches were next-level. The crunch, the texture, the freshness--absolutely on point. I went with the Basil Thai Steak sandwich, while my coworker got the Spicy Don. Of course, we shared, and honestly, we couldn't decide which one was better because both were packed with flavor and had such unique profiles. The crispiness of the Spicy Don? Unreal. And that sauce? First of all, everything on the menu is made in-house with healthy ingredients, which really appealed to me as I've been more health-conscious lately. I tried the Thai Basil, Spicy Don, and the Miso Cesar Salad, and they were all bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors, especially the Miso Cesar Salad. You can tell there's real care put into each dish. The drinks were also a highlight for me. I had the Saffron Cold Brew and the Honey Lavender Matcha, and both were incredible. I got to learn that the owners actually make their own handcrafted syrups, which makes all the difference. The Honey Lavender Matcha was especially unique--smooth, slightly floral, and not too sweet. What a lovely experience. A hidden gem away from all the coffee chains. This unique spot brings good vibes, great service and a clean space. I can't eat everything so I love that they serve grass fed steak, and organic Mary's chicken. They also only use avocado and olive oil. I don't know anywhere in Beverly Hills that offers that with such affordable prices. Their coffee is fire too. They're a small business, everything is done by just a couple of young entrepreneurs. Really working hard to provide for the community. I got 2 matchas, Natalie and Jazmine recommended the 12oz size since they use ceremonial and you get more for what you're paying for rather the 16oz which is all milk. I appreciate the honesty, idk a coffee shop that truly wants you to enjoy the experience, so I like that a lot. The matchas with foam come in 16oz which makes sense. They already have merch and hats which is really cool to see. Alec the owner was really helpful in choosing what to eat/drink. They had a lot of variety which was nice to see and it's fairly priced. I would say you're getting your moneys worth. The sandwiches were a good size and there's so much flavor. I got the Thai Basil steak and its the most unique sandwich I've ever had. I'd definitely come back just for that. The cinnamon toast latte, on the other hand, was a bit underwhelming.
