I made an assumption about the owner after accusing me of being a fraudulent reviewer because they were unsatisfied with the review I left ! All I did was make an assumption the same way the owner did, yelp can see how long I've had my account and that I have left another good review for an establishment in the area I live in. Take this place with a grain of salt . EDIT I left a review earlier this morning and the owner of this establishment replied and accused me of being a former disgruntled employee. So First off I AM a real customer, I live in the inland empire and I happen to be in the area 50% of my time , so yes I have been to this establishment on multiple occasions. The past few times I have been there VS months ago have been like night and day, mentioning that it seems like management doesn't have any control over the floor is an obvious observation to most customers who have been multiple times and can see new faces, longer wait times, and no sense of quality control. There is no reason why every time I come in my latte is made different despite being the same order. Faregrounds is also a pricey establishment and there are many other coffee shops/cafes in Beverly Hills that have better service, consistent drinks, and reasonable pricing. I do not appreciate the manager/owner of this establishment saying my previous review was fake and from a "Former employee" unfortunately I have received terrible service at this café and wanted to voice my opinion as that is what YELP is for. Not every review will be a 5 star, I believe the owner should learn to take constructive criticism and realize no establishment is perfect; assuming I was an employee is insane but it's OK because as a CUSTOMER I now am assuming that this merchant must have some labor laws that are being violated. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the area. This place has completely gone downhill. The entire staff has changed, and it shows. Drinks take forever, the baristas seem completely lost, and management appears to have no control over the floor. Instead of directing the team, everyone just seems to wander around. I waited over 15 minutes for my salted vanilla latte. After asking multiple times where my drink was, they "remade" it only to hand me the exact matcha drink I had already received. The level of disorganization was honestly unbelievable. Saw the manager have zero sense of urgency to get my drink out. The drinks are wildly inconsistent every time I come in, and for the prices they're charging, there's no excuse. Between the poor management, slow service, and lack of quality control, this place is no longer worth visiting. Spending nearly $30 for this experience felt like a complete waste of money. I have been bamboozled by yet another breakfast burrito. I stopped by for a short rib breakfast burrito as the menu description made it sound really interesting and somewhat unique compared to the majority of those found throughout LA. The menu says this burrito comes with "eggs, short rib, crispy potatoes, fontina, pickled red onions, and gochujang aioli". The cashier also asked me what sauce I wanted which I thought was odd since the burrito already comes with the gochujang aioli, but she offered a cilantro, chipotle mayo, and "hot sauce". I went for the cilantro sauce getting confused and not thinking to ask about the gochujang. I also later found out the "hot sauce" is a calabrian hot sauce and not just any old "hot sauce". If that was mentioned I probably would've tried that but how many people think to ask what kind of "hot sauce" is used when it's not specified to begin with? The cross section looked decent but definitely so little short rib compared to the other photos and tik tok videos I've seen. Naive me should've known these were paid influencers getting special treatment, so obviously they're getting more short rib. The short rib itself had decent flavor but it was just so dry. The potatoes were not crispy at all and more like homestyle potatoes, soft. What really made things worse was the missing gochujang aioli and fontina cheese. There definitely was not any of it in here and I'm kicking myself for not bringing it up to the staff but honestly, it's something that shouldn't be forgotten to begin with. The cilantro sauce was basically sludge and very mild in flavor so it didn't elevate the burrito flavor much. To drink I tried the recommended Salted vanilla foam latte, although not too sweet, it didn't have much flavor. I couldn't help but notice the lack of cleaning too. I sat for almost an hour (9:30-10:18) before I saw anyone clean a table while many people had left tables dirty. Even when I sat at the first table and moved to a second table, I had to clean up spilled sauce, sticky residue, and wet areas on my tables to not dirty my own arms or phone. The space isn't very cozy and the interior tables are crammed together. I asked the cashier if the wi-fi works fine outside and she said the wi-fi "isn't very good and pretty spotty, it usually doesn't work outside". I was hoping to initially try their caesar wrap and ended up here for breakfast so I tried that and was disappointed but now I don't have plans to return for anything else. read more

I stopped by around opening time on a Thursday, and it was already pretty busy, which was a good sign. I ordered the Breakfast Steak Burrito and the Pistachio Cream Matcha. The burrito is definitely on the pricier side, especially with the added protein, but the portion is huge and very filling. They weren't skimpy with the ingredients, the filling ratios were well-balanced, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The Pistachio Cream Matcha was definitely on the sweeter side, but it had a great pistachio flavor that I really enjoyed. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick despite how busy it was. Parking was also surprisingly easy. There's a garage on N. Bedford Dr., across from Jon & Vinny's, that offers free parking for the first two hours before 6 PM, and it's only about a 2-minute walk to the shop. I am so amazed at how good this place actually is. Although it is on the pricey side, the wraps and sandwiches are actually gigantic! Yes, indeed, the hype for that caesar wrap is worth it. You must go and try it with the crispy chicken. They already put enough dressing in the wrap itself, but they also include a small side of it too. I also tried the favorited spicy don, which was enough for 2 people as well. The cheese was melted perfectly onto the chicken cutlet and the perfect amount of heat is in the vodka sauce. It also came with a side of chipotle sauce and extra vodka sauce which was hot in it's container. My friend tried their banana matcha and rates it a 5/5 and I tried the tiramisu latte which I would rate a 4/5. You can taste the quality in their food and drinks. Now THAT is how you make a chicken caesar salad wrap, ladies! My medical specialist across the street that I am gatekeeping recommended this place despite it being overrun by influencers lately. She even stopped and suggested I take out my phone and order ahead 20 minutes before my appointment ended. Thank god she did. Their salted vanilla foam latte with 2% milk is SO good, and for $7 for 16 oz actually feels fair in this economy. I actually haven't tried a lot of their menu because every time I come I can't branch out because I love the Thai wrap so much. I used to get the Thai steak sandwich served as a wrap but now they've added it to the menu as a wrap & it has nice, which I like for a little more substance. Everyone who works here is extremely kind and will help with the menu if you need it. I really want to try the miso Caesar & the cheesesteak... like I need it tomorrow, but I know I'll be back soon. Keep in mind this place stays busy. The drinks come out fast but if you're getting food and there's a line; except a 20~ or so minute wait at least, but they'll let you know this too. I mentioned I wasn't a big fan of the "salted" and she told me she could make it without, so I ordered it with almond milk. While I waited I heard regulars rave about the food here. I made a mental note to come back for lunch. I've never had a cold foam beverage before, so I was pleasantly surprised with my drink. The foam was thick - almost like melted ice cream. 1 star I placed an order with Faregrounds in Beverly Hills and had a really frustrating experience. I placed an order on their website, then restaurant contracted Uber for delivery, and I clearly instructed that the food be dropped off at our building's front desk. Instead, the driver handed it off to a random person on the street. When I contacted the restaurant, they told me there was nothing they could do and that I needed to reach out to Uber directly. The problem is, I didn't place the order through Uber--the restaurant did--so I'm unable to open a case or get any support. I'm left without my food and without any real accountability from either side. This kind of situation shouldn't fall through the cracks like this. Very disappointing. read more

The sandwich was a little heavy, but the wrap was amazing. I like that they don't use seed oils. We were told food would be a 30 minute wait, in fair warning, and it did take that long. My drink is rarely made the same way twice despite requesting light ice, it's often filled with excess ice or comes out overly milky, which significantly changes the flavor. I placed a pickup order through their first party platform at 10 am for a wrap and latte at noon. I ended up having to wait until 12:30 for my order. There was a lady next to me who had ordered via Uber Eats for a 12:10 pickup who ended up getting hers before me, still almost a full 20 minutes past her order pickup time. It's a little crazy to prioritize a third party delivery order, who takes fees, over orders placed using your own system. I'm a firm believer that there shouldn't be online ordering available if you cannot manage the volume. I ended up missing almost my entire lunch hour due to this unforeseen wait time. On top of that, in-restaurant food ordering had a 40 minute wait time. I did appreciate the staff being upfront about that when people were ordering, but it's insane that both pickup and in restaurant had the same extended wait times. Their sauce is so unique and flavorful and they give extra dressing on the side (!). It is fairly expensive but can easily be two meals.
