Heard about this spot because my friend saw it on social media. I usually don't trust social media reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. They're known for their chicken Caesar wraps, which you can get grilled or crispy (I got the crispy option). It's a really small spot, but they have a few tables inside and outside. You can self order on a tablet or place your order with a staff member at the front. They will call your name once your food is ready. Now onto the food review! Chicken Caesar wrap (4 stars) - bomb! Not overly salty or drenched in sauce. It was really balanced. Chicken was super crispy, had lots of meat and wasn't dry. Would return to get this. Chicken pesto sandwich (2 stars) - another crispy chicken, which was good but sandwich itself was a miss. The bread was so hard that you couldn't bite into it. I am so amazed at how good this place actually is. Although it is on the pricey side, the wraps and sandwiches are actually gigantic! Yes, indeed, the hype for that caesar wrap is worth it. You must go and try it with the crispy chicken. They already put enough dressing in the wrap itself, but they also include a small side of it too. I also tried the favorited spicy don, which was enough for 2 people as well. The cheese was melted perfectly onto the chicken cutlet and the perfect amount of heat is in the vodka sauce. It also came with a side of chipotle sauce and extra vodka sauce which was hot in it's container. My friend tried their banana matcha and rates it a 5/5 and I tried the tiramisu latte which I would rate a 4/5. You can taste the quality in their food and drinks. The Thai basil steak wrap is soooo good I love the meat inside it's cooked perfectly and so flavorful. She even stopped and suggested I take out my phone and order ahead 20 minutes before my appointment ended. Thank god she did. one of my favorite spots in BH. I'm in the area often for doctors appts, etc. and I will always stop in for lunch. Their salted vanilla foam latte with 2% milk is SO good, and for $7 for 16 oz actually feels fair in this economy. I actually haven't tried a lot of their menu because every time I come I can't branch out because I love the Thai wrap so much. I used to get the Thai steak sandwich served as a wrap but now they've added it to the menu as a wrap & it has nice, which I like for a little more substance. Everyone who works here is extremely kind and will help with the menu if you need it. I really want to try the miso Caesar & the cheesesteak... like I need it tomorrow, but I know I'll be back soon. Keep in mind this place stays busy. The drinks come out fast but if you're getting food and there's a line; except a 20~ or so minute wait at least, but they'll let you know this too. 1 star I placed an order with Faregrounds in Beverly Hills and had a really frustrating experience. I placed an order on their website, then restaurant contracted Uber for delivery, and I clearly instructed that the food be dropped off at our building's front desk. Instead, the driver handed it off to a random person on the street. When I contacted the restaurant, they told me there was nothing they could do and that I needed to reach out to Uber directly. The problem is, I didn't place the order through Uber--the restaurant did--so I'm unable to open a case or get any support. I'm left without my food and without any real accountability from either side. This kind of situation shouldn't fall through the cracks like this. Very disappointing. read more

I visited Faregrounds on a Monday around lunchtime and ordered coffee and some sandwiches to try. We liked the coffee and matcha, as well as the spicy don sandwich and honey crunch wrap. The sandwich was a little heavy, but the wrap was amazing. I like that they don't use seed oils. We were told food would be a 30 minute wait, in fair warning, and it did take that long. I placed a pickup order through their first party platform at 10 am for a wrap and latte at noon. I ended up having to wait until 12:30 for my order. There was a lady next to me who had ordered via Uber Eats for a 12:10 pickup who ended up getting hers before me, still almost a full 20 minutes past her order pickup time. It's a little crazy to prioritize a third party delivery order, who takes fees, over orders placed using your own system. I'm a firm believer that there shouldn't be online ordering available if you cannot manage the volume. I ended up missing almost my entire lunch hour due to this unforeseen wait time. On top of that, in-restaurant food ordering had a 40 minute wait time. I did appreciate the staff being upfront about that when people were ordering, but it's insane that both pickup and in restaurant had the same extended wait times. Unfortunately they told me the wait for the food is running 50 min out and I didn't have that much time so I wasn't able to order the food. Wait for sitting was very long. Place is packed at 1:30 pm on a Tuesday. The matcha was great. No option for dining in cups which is a disadvantage because those of us who care about no seed oil and organic matcha, also care about the plastic top and the glaze inside the Togo cups.
