Our favorite drinks were the banana matcha and biscoff latte. We also got to try the Mexico Matcha in honor of the World Cup, and I would recommend it to those who like a fruity addition to their matchas! Food wise, the Turkey Panini and Pizza were large enough to share (with leftovers) and I'll have to come back to try the Breakfast Burritos. Came here for lunch with some friends/co workers today and had such a lovely time. We randomly found it on Yelp when looking for a lunch spot close to work. We ordered their strawberry matcha, which was super tasty. The matcha was just the right amount of sweet and not bitter at all. The strawberry cream top was so good too. For food we got their pepperoni pizza, which was very yummy and cheesy. Our vegan friend ordered a non cheese pizza which she enjoyed. And I got the avocado toast which comes with two pieces of toast and has pesto and a side of hot honey. Also very tasty and filling. The manager and chef is Cristian and he brought out our food and was even sweet enough to bring us their biscoff scone to try, which was sooo good. It was soft and buttery and delicious. Stopped by for their delicious sounding drinks, but then I had to try the food as well, and literally everything was so good! My favorite drinks were the banana matcha - it's nutty, creamy, and well balanced, and the Biscoff latte is decadent, but not overly sweet. My favorite pastry was the churro croissant, it's so flakey and dusted in that cinnamon sugar. The chocolate chip cookie was also really good, and had the perfect amount of chocolate chips. The pepperoni pizza was incredible, my husband could not stop himself from eating it. The pizza crust is pillowy and baked with cheese, and the pepperoni slices are thick. Planning to sit down and enjoying my coffee, but unfortunately in the afternoon you couldn't do street park in front of the venue so I just made quick stop. The baristas was super nice and welcoming, also helped me picking my order. I went for the recommended Savor Signature, their version of cold brew with brown sugar cold foam and cinnamon on top. I loved that their cold brew wasn't heavily bold so it's friendly enough for my tummy. ICED MATCHA LATTE 6/10: I would say that this is a fairly standard matcha. It has a decent matcha taste and it has a smooth finish. I like that they offer multiple sizes, three (12, 16, and 18 oz?Or 20- not too sure about the last size). There is no menu item for a matcha with cold foam so I customized it as the regular iced matcha (comes unsweetened) with vanilla foam which was an added $1. While it wasn't bad, it was not great either. I might even say I was a bit underwhelmed. Note: In case you are wondering, they do not have a double matcha. If you were to get the matcha latte with a matcha cold foam, it'll be a +$4 as they use the same amount of matcha (measurement) to make the foam. I say this especially for people who are conscious of their caffeine intake as it can be a lot. SERVICE 10/10: Really sweet! My wife and I decided to try Savor out because it just opened up by our apartment. The aesthetic gives off boho vibes and we love the homage they pay to LA/Latino community with their artwork inside. The staff is really nice, it seems like a family run business which I like to see. Everyone in there has a smile on their face and all together were pleasant to interact with. My team and I went here for an afternoon coffee break. First time for most of us. The man and woman behind the counter were very kind and patient, even as we ordered 10 drinks for the group, including questions while we ordered. The workers were happy to answer all the questions and make recommendations. I had the Savor Signature (cold brew with special cream top with cinnamon) based on their recommendation and it did not disappoint. I think I can finally tell you: I took as sip as I walked out the door and the wind hit me like I was in La Rosa de Guadalupe. The best mocha drink I've ever had.
