    Bean soup was soooo good!!!

Food was delicious wife got fisherman's platter swapped scallops for xtra shrimp it it was all very good. Hot fries fish and shrimp very tasty. I got the cream of chicken over biscuits it was delicious looked and tasted so good I forgot to take a picture. Waitress did a fine job taking care of us she was attentive and very friendly great service. We first walked in the door waited to be seated as I looked around the place was very clean this was after normal lunch time. Floors all swept clean, no dust on window ledges or the vents on ceiling. Vents in most restrooms I visit are always dusty. Sign on the door said they were shutting down at 3 for restraunt maintenance, with this place as clean as it is I don't see much to maintain but keep up great work we will be back soon!!

This is your basic down-home cookin' in the heart of the big city of Wooster, OH. On my first day after moving from a bustling, growing metropolis to this place one can truly call a "town", I just wanted to find something open on a frigid morning after some light snow flurries. They're open and happening even during the whole covid crisis early on a Sunday morning. Lots of people in here, surprisingly. Old folks from the country who just don't give a hoot. Think American style food that hearkens back to the baby boom. Diner style, essentially. Breakfast choices galore. Eggs, bacon, homemade biscuits, hashbrowns, omelettes just about any way. Don't stop there. Of course they have sandwiches and salads and a slew of other things. The menu is huge and with countless visits you still wouldn't experience everything there is to offer. Ample seating with large tables. Neat hooks by the booths for you to hang your jacket - commonplace 'round here. Kids toys by the door in 25 cent machines that remind me of my childhood. Staff ain't bad either, straight to the point and repping the midwest like it is in my southern stereotypes.

There was ample parking, even close to the entrance, which is always kinda nice :). We walked in and didn't even wait a minute to be seated! There were 8 specials for Thursday and I picked the char broiled pork! Our soup and salad arrived perfectly before our meal, which, to me, is a plus! I was in awe with the size of our dinner servings! The special I chose ended up being two portions of pork, one would have been plenty, added bonus for sure! The food was prepared perfectly, just as we asked, which seems like a simple request, but when does that actually happen?!?! We left satisfied and full and no room for desserts... next time? TeeHee! Great place! Great choice! With our drinks and dinners and extra sides, tax included it came to under $20?! Great all the way around!

Not fancy, but quite good for a low key diner. Very pleasant server. The price is right.

Have been here many times. A friend goes here every week & multiple times. She loves the food &…read moredrinks.. I personally only like the mixed drink I always get. The food I have ate here maaaybe 3 times? & every time I'm just disappointed with the food. I had the "cheesy Louisey" the last time & it was disgusting in my opinion.. it says "beer cheese" which I really like the white beer cheeses.. this was the yellow kind? & literally DRENCHED in it.. so much so, it was gross & inedible to me. Boneless Wings are decent, but not great. I always get a "Green Tea Shot" but in a drink, full cup form lol not a shot. & it always yummy. The bar guy is always fun & great! They also have a ducky claw machine, def entertaining. Also a few other games that my kids enjoyed. Outdoor dining but we couldn't order from out there due to staffing issues? Recently. I think it was. So we had to eat inside. I guess you can table sit, order, & THEN take it outside.. is what we were told. But we just didn't. We wanted to fully dine outside. Decent food & experience. I probably wouldn't have came back if it wasn't within walking distance to a hotel & a local friend being a frequent flyer.

Great place with really diverse menu, great local beers on tap and set in a really cool atmosphere…read more We went after a College of Wooster Softball game as the Visiting Team from DePauw with family in tow. Got seated quickly, great atmosphere (friendly & casual without being too loud) and the artifacts on the wall and the story of the Stables all made sense. Food was great (I had the local bison burger) and the service was friendly, efficient and quick. Had a custom Old Fashioned with some local rye whiskey and a local brew. Was a great night! Will definitely be back when we are next in town! Nice surprise for a small college town! Definitely recommend!
