I went to your Beaumont location this evening and was given the wrong order. I spent $26 to get two dry ass cheeseburgers. Honestly, Your Beaumont location gave me their closing scraps, including food I didn't even order. When I went back the location was closed and your shift manager "Faith" was hesitant to acknowledge me knowing that she screwed up my family's order. Your "shift manager" even had the audacity to laugh at me to my face. WOW!!! Words can't even begin to describe the disgust and anger created by the unsympathetic leadership which was just half assed to me. Now my family is left eating a bowls of cereal. This is by far the WORST customer service I have ever received, and you're supposed to be a family owned establishment. Paying customers should be considered your family, since meals are not cheap. By far the worst experience we have had at a restaurant! Went to eat a causal family dinner, when we asked what was the special the cashier rolled her eyes, and pointed to the special board. When i tried to order a coffee the cashier looked at me and continued to talk to the cook, when I told her I'm ready or order, she took my order and bought the coffee and slammed it on the table! FARMER BOYS in BEAUMONT has yet to live up to the Restaurants typically good reputation. The service can be slow and the food poorly prepared. Over Cooked, Under Cooked or just simply served cold; this Farmer Boys has some issues to sort thru with a bunch on new employees who don't really seem to care. HUGE BURGERS are pretty much what Farmer Boys is all about, and on that point this Beaumont will not disappoint you. We do feel they are a bit over priced however... it just seems like their menu is set up in such a manner as to "Jack Up" your bill when it's all added up. As such we avoid Farmer Boys. read more

I went for the 2nd time since opening to the Farmer Boys restaurant in Beaumont. I have been to many Farmer Boys restaurants so I know what to expect. The first time I ordered a cheeseburger with no cheese because they don't just have a hamburger. So I paid for cheese whether I wanted it or not. The hamburger was not even luke warm and it was on soggy bread. I could have got a better burger from McDonald's. I figured they just opened so I wanted to give it another chance. Tonight was that chance. The hamburgers were soggy. My almost 7 dollar chicken sandwich was a tiny little breast of chicken. The chicken was so dry that I couldn't finish it. For a almost $7 sandwich I expected a fresh piece of chicken. Not chicken jerky! On a positive note the chili fries that my husband got were awesome. ( I tried some!). I got exactly what you would expect at a fast food drive through in Banning. The order menu at the drive in had no response so I pulled to the window. I could see the counter worker standing at the computer hiding her cell phone and typing with it and ignoring me. I realized the car in front of me has the same problem and also drove off with no service before me. These people want $15 an hour, remember that. I won't return to this place. I really wanted to love this place since we desperately need new restaurants in Beaumont. It was alright. Service was friendly but it took over twenty minutes for our food to arrive. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was just ok. The breakfast burritos from El Mariachi's blow this one away. Farmer Boys was small and had (I think) American cheese on it and salsa, which I didn't like. Hubby loved his double cheeseburger. Fries and onion rings were ok. Kids burger was good. Good food, a little on the pricey end...BUT The trade off is that they use many qualit, fresh ingredients and offer a variety of products on their menu. They appear to be better known for their burgers. Personally, I have enjoyed their chicken sandwich on several occasions. One of our faves is the zucchini sticks. They aren't stingy on condiments, especially for their zucchini. Their staff,even after numerous visits is always courteous. Politeness is a plus! Prompt and efficient service. Food has tons of flavor, portions are large, and employees are very friendly! It's not a 5 star Restaraunt, but for fast food, is great!

I've noticed that the quality of service has gone down and food has as well. Chili Fries are not given in the same quantity as they used to be. The only thing I would say is still good is their burgers. Proportions are smaller and it is hard to justify an 11 or 12 dollar combo for something that you can get equally good at Bakers. They forgot a drink that I ordered with the combo but I assume that they get it wrong every now and then. My overall experience: I wasn't too impressed and I'm dissapointed. I love Farmer Boys but customer service should also be equally as good as the food your order. It wasn't I'm afraid. I understand a busy day with annoying customers but at least try to not be rude when you take someone's order please. I was getting cut off constantly as I was ordering and I got an "you're annoying me" vibe from the drive-thru service. Would I come here again? I don't know. It will be a while before I consider this location. If you don't mind the customer service and smaller proportions of food for 12 bucks then it would still work out but for me I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

It's nice to have options. Farmer boys is a great spot to go to for a quality burger. Better than a fast food burger. This is a newer location so dining in is a good way to go. I recommend the fried zucchini, so delicious. As for the burgers you gotta go for the farmer burger. Comes with bacon and avocado. They even put strawberries in their strawberry shakes. It's not just a mix. Veggie burger tastes like a veggie burger. No frills added. Can't understand this place , the tables are all gooey and dirty with rough chemicals oozing out and drying up with a salt finish, it seems the varnish is coming off the wood. My first time visiting a Farmer Boys restaurant . My burger was really good. Zucchini was good but I rather have mine cut a little bit smaller but it was good. To our regret wife ordered cheese burger combo, with onion rings, I ordered spicy burger combo, with fries, Wife was unhappy with hers, said it had little taste, I thought mine was average at best. I love this place. I come here often with my grandpa and I always order the same thing; the bacon, turkey melt. It's delicious. Want to give a shout out to the manager, Angela, for always giving great customer service every time I come in. If the food wasn't enough, this place definitely has great customer service.
