Fairly new location been here a couple of time and never disappoints. I normally get the Chop Cobb Salad it's my go to and filling. The chilli cheese fries do not look good AT ALL, but they were actually pretty on par and the cheese does melt if you let it sit for a few seconds. We've never had them with onions, but decided to try it and it was solid. Sandwhich was delicious!! Asking me to pull out of the drive through to wait longer and then serving me undercooked chicken is insane. If I had eaten it I'm sure I would've gotten sick. Came in to FB off Slauson for their block party / food drive for LA Food Bank and left pleasantly surprised (and full of chicken strips!) As far as fast food, Farmer Boys has been top tier. I appreciate their being philanthropic with children's health via Loma Linda and now with the LA Food Bank. As for the food itself: piping hot and fresh. Interior was brand new at this location. Granted it was a corporate day, the vibe was very upbeat and family/community friendly. Service was also 12/10. The place was busy (including a DJ and balloon animals!) but I got checked on a couple of times and overall was very happy with the level of service, pride in presentation, and care put forth. Didn't know that they made a farmers boy in the neighborhood until i went to Home Depot. I had the grill chicken salad. In my mind i thought that the salad was going to be a decent size but boy oh boy once i seen the bowl it was big (well maybe everyone appetite is different) My husband had to help me finish it. First red flag... we come in to dine and there is no one there to take our order. The cooks see us and just look around looking for the girl. 5 min later she comes out of the restroom, chopped blonde hair w black roots that needed a touch up weeks ago. " Ixalli" We order 1 bacon boy box with no cheese and no pickles. She did ask us after I said no pickles, "no pickles?" | said, "yeah no pickles." Our box gets served to us, she was nice. Then I realized there was cheese... very nicely I go up to her and say, " can we get it with no cheese." She dramatically rolled her eyes, utilizing her bulky lashes perfectly. I love Farmer Boys and frequent multiple other locations. This location is completely sub standard. I'm not sure if they are allowed to choose their own food suppliers but the ingredients were terrible. Gross grey meat full of filler was all we got. Farmer boy always has great quality beef. The bacon was thin and gross as well. I will likely try once more to see if it was a bad day or new location growing pains, but I have little hope. For $21 per combo, we deserve more. read more

Minus one star if I could. Placed a phone order, was told fifteen minutes. Go there fifteen minutes later and waited another 25 minutes. And when I finally got my order not only was it all cold, one of the items was missing. Seriously, don't waste your time and money, there is an In & Out two blocks away that's half the price and twice the quality. Who wants cold and soggy french fries?
