This is high end fast food and the price reflects it. Try the chili-cheese breakfast burrito. It was delicious.

This place is great! The owner Elizabeth is such a nice and caring person, towards her staff and customers. The place is immaculate from the dining room to the kitchen. I used to live and work in the area 12 years ago and would eat here at least once a week. I love their breakfasts. I was back in the valley and my wife and I decided to have breakfast here again and it was as good as I remembered. I had the Denver omelette with hashbrowns and sourdough toast and my wife had the Country Fried Chicken & Gravy breakfast bowl. It filled us up and left smiles on our faces. While driving to Los Angeles from Arizona, we stopped for lunch here. The food and the service was excellent. We felt welcome at all times. We liked that they used real silverware. My only complaint it that it is too loud. They need some kind of noise dampening to take away all of the echoes. read more

This is one of my favorite place to eat. Be it breakfast , lunch or dinner. It's like a classic diner with a drive thru. Best pancake or French toast combos like reg restaurant not like fast food at all. They also have soups and salads. The best cobb salad ever. They have gre as t ice tea when your tired of soda. I think this is just kind of as good as it gets in a middle of nowhere town. Decent place to grab a sandwich on a roadtrip... Not somewhere I'd ever go to if they opened one in my hometown. Food is good but service sucks waiting in the drive thru for 20 mins for a salad with only 2 cars in front of me.

It took the cashier 3 times to get our change right...then brought us our food and it didn't include what we asked for. The order was wrong. If you want good service don't come here. read more

My girlfriend and I were on our way back to LA from Phoenix and found a few diners in this area. We didn't want to spend too much time waiting for service so we stopped by this place expecting a quick stale fast food meal. We were very surprised to find that the great prices did not reflect the quality or portion sizes. I got the farmers omelette with hash browns and toast. My girlfriend got the scrumptious blue ribbon burger with fries and a brownie. Man the omelette and hash browns were exactly what I was craving and the plate was big and loaded. My girlfriends burger was 1/2 pound and I managed to eat the half that she couldn't (I was so stuffed I waddled out of there and nearly busted the shocks on my car ;-). The service was better than most diners I've been to. The employees always had a smile and my coffee cup was always full. This place will be our regular stop when traveling from LA to Phoenix and back. read more

As we drove into Indio, there was some kind of festival or fair going on downtown. We were concerned about finding a place to eat. Farmer boys is a fast food restaurant, but after you order they bring it to the table for you. I had a cheeseburger, onion rings and a drink for $5.99. My husband had the fish sandwich by itself. The fish sandwich was shared with another person at the table and the cheeseburger was also large enough to share. And the best thing of all was that they were very tasty. The workers here are usually polite. They have a pretty good selection on the menu. The food is good. The wait time can be a little longer than I like, but worth it. There's a big difference between a burger here and a burger at McDonalds. There is a huge quality difference. Prices are a little high. The quality of food combined with the customer service here gets it 5 stars from me. read more

Located next to in n out, this place definitely competes. The burgers are around the 5-7 dollar range however, so its a lil pricier. Now if the price is worth it, its hard to say. Alas they do offer USDA grade beef thats antibiotic free and vegetarian fed meat. (So thats a plus!) I had the natural bacon cheeseburger. The bacon is bomb, huge slices lingering out of the buns like a naughty burger should... overall like 8/10. Buns are good, meats awesome. Will try again read more
