I love this place! It is a bit more expensive and slower than "fast food" restaurants - but there is a more than fair trade off. The food is cooked when ordered - so it is ALWAYS fresh (not sitting under a heat lamp getting old). The ingredients are fresh as well. Due to dietary constraints I always have to make "adjustments" - they always happily make those changes! The portions are very generous and customer service is always first rate. This place is great! The owner Elizabeth is such a nice and caring person, towards her staff and customers. The place is immaculate from the dining room to the kitchen. I used to live and work in the area 12 years ago and would eat here at least once a week. I love their breakfasts. I was back in the valley and my wife and I decided to have breakfast here again and it was as good as I remembered. I had the Denver omelette with hashbrowns and sourdough toast and my wife had the Country Fried Chicken & Gravy breakfast bowl. It filled us up and left smiles on our faces. Really like this place. Discovered the one near a boxing tournament in Coachella. Fresh food, very well prepared, good flabor.

This is good for families. However, majority of high chairs were broken. Let's just say, we were lucky to find one that had a functioning safety belt. Other than that everything else was fine. read more

This is one of my favorite place to eat. Be it breakfast , lunch or dinner. It's like a classic diner with a drive thru. Best pancake or French toast combos like reg restaurant not like fast food at all. They also have soups and salads. The best cobb salad ever. They have gre as t ice tea when your tired of soda. While driving to Los Angeles from Arizona, we stopped for lunch here. The food and the service was excellent. We felt welcome at all times. We liked that they used real silverware. My only complaint it that it is too loud. They need some kind of noise dampening to take away all of the echoes. read more

A step above any other fast food joint. The bacon cheeseburger was great, loved the fried zucchini. The staff was nice and even offered to refill our drinks while we waited for our order to go. An extra 2 stars for having homemade ranch and Pepsi ! read more

I think this is just kind of as good as it gets in a middle of nowhere town. Decent place to grab a sandwich on a roadtrip... Not somewhere I'd ever go to if they opened one in my hometown. My girlfriend and I were on our way back to LA from Phoenix and found a few diners in this area. We didn't want to spend too much time waiting for service so we stopped by this place expecting a quick stale fast food meal. We were very surprised to find that the great prices did not reflect the quality or portion sizes. I got the farmers omelette with hash browns and toast. My girlfriend got the scrumptious blue ribbon burger with fries and a brownie. Man the omelette and hash browns were exactly what I was craving and the plate was big and loaded. My girlfriends burger was 1/2 pound and I managed to eat the half that she couldn't (I was so stuffed I waddled out of there and nearly busted the shocks on my car ;-). The service was better than most diners I've been to. The employees always had a smile and my coffee cup was always full. This place will be our regular stop when traveling from LA to Phoenix and back. read more

As we drove into Indio, there was some kind of festival or fair going on downtown. We were concerned about finding a place to eat. Farmer boys is a fast food restaurant, but after you order they bring it to the table for you. I had a cheeseburger, onion rings and a drink for $5.99. My husband had the fish sandwich by itself. The fish sandwich was shared with another person at the table and the cheeseburger was also large enough to share. And the best thing of all was that they were very tasty.
