I've been to Farmer Boys once before a few years ago and I remember it being really good, so I was excited to get it again when I was in town. Sadly, it wasn't as good as I remembered it. I got the Natural Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger with no sauce on it. I was disappointed that there was only one piece of bacon on it. I could tell it was a piece of bacon that was sitting out for a while because it was chewy, but it had the look that it was once nice and crispy. The burger patty itself was pretty good and I liked the avocado, though it was a bit bland, and the lettuce was fresh with a nice crunch to it. The burger comes on a quality brioche bun, so that definitely gave it a better overall flavor. Maybe they just had an off day, but I'm sad that it wasn't as good as my first time eating there. Ingredients are fresh (other than the bacon), so I would be willing to give it another go in the future. read more

I get the sandwich box deal, as it's very fresh, the cheese is melted nicely and it has bacon and a delicious folded egg scramble making it a tasty breakfast meal. I visited this restaurant on 7/19/2025 around 9pm. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the service. The staff member who helped me seemed very unhappy to be there--she didn't smile, didn't greet me properly, and came across as quite rude when I asked a basic question about the menu. Asked for her name and she said it was Lily as noted on the receipt. Also, one of the lady cooks just stood there staring at me while I was ordering it really made the whole visit feel unwelcoming and uncomfortable. This was a disappointment. The strips were old and super hard. They were not fresh at all. Seem like they been sitting for hours if not all day. They were so hard I could barely eat one. The fries were old and cold. Also could tell they had been sitting out for hours. The best part was the beard and it wasn't best. Just something that was light weight edible. I've eaten at this Farmer Boys twice now. Most recently September 18th, 2023. I did a drive-thru order of four of their Big Cheese cheeseburgers. Even though it was 9 p.m., late in the day, the drive-thru attendant was very attentive and was clear. The lighting in the drive-thru could be better. It was like going into a dark alley. They take "tap and pay". The price was correct and they even offered condiments. Nowadays if you don't ask the restaurant won't tell you that none are in the bag. Nice touch to ask. The food was packaged well and looked like they cared about the presentation. Receipt was included so you can enter the barcode on their app for points. Your points add up for discounts and free food. The food was fresh and hot with fresh toppings. Top-quality slices of tomatoes and crisp lettuce with chopped onions. Many other fast-food restaurants tend to have low-quality produce for their burgers. This location had high-quality and fresh buns. You can taste the freshness. The staff was extremely friendly and even though it was late in the day made me feel appreciated. I would recommend this location and join the points club on their app. read more

I have rule, that for every new food place I find, I first check the restroom, because this is the same room that the workers use m, in this case it was atrocious. When attempting to order via the drive through, I wait almost five minutes waiting to take my order. Every time I attempted to contact the representative, I only received please hold or no response. After an extended period of time I backed out of the drive through and entered the resturant requesting a manager. I explained the extended delay to the manager, Lilly, who was very polite only stating they were understaffed and finding extended delays due to a lack or personal. She was a very polite young lady but inexperienced in handling challenges. I requested the number of the corporate office being delayed another five minutes. The number provided was 951-275-9900. Due to her inabilty to resolve my challenge I left resturant not desiring further challenges. When call the number provided the consumer support representative "Elisa" was again very polite and professional but confirmed she could not assist suggesting to file a email complaint. Unfortunately a representative from Farmer Boys could not assist me. I did learn the location in question is a franchise location owned by Joseph Sadek. The real problem is with the franchise owner not properly staffing the restuarant nor providing proper management skills to his very young managers. I formally request the corporate office of Farmer Boys examine the poor management skills of their franchise manager to provide adequate and properly trained personal. Though in the past I visited the location daily, will not return to have to challenging experience and without confirmation the problem is resolved.
