Called in an order for a chicken Caesar salad today at lunch 11:45am. I asked for it to please be ready at 12:05pm... she said no problem it'll be in the fridge. At least noon when I arrived (I only have a short lunch break; hence why I called ahead) anyway, my salad was sitting under the HEAT LAMP for long enough to make my lettuce warm, my Parmesan cheese MELT & even my dressing was hot. What the F is happening down there?? I ran a restaurant for 3 years and never once was I dumb enough to put a salad under a heat lamp. Made a short stop here to grab something small and kill time before meeting up with friends for lunch. My boyfriend and I split a breakfast burrito. It took quite a long time to get our food. I wasn't too worried about it because we had time to kill, but it did seem unusually long. Also, when we finally got our burrito, it wasn't wrapped well at all. The entire time I was eating my half, I was trying to hold it all together so it wouldn't fall apart. This is more of a fast food type of place. You take your order up at the front counter, and they drop your food off to your table once it is ready. They have a lot of choices for breakfast and lunch. It's definitely a good place if you're trying to grab a quick bite to eat. They also have very reasonable prices. As for quality of food... expect what you pay for. read more

I got to farmer boys, not to busy ordered 3 egg breakfast with coffee, and asked how much was biscuits and gravy instead of Alejandro telling me he addex it to my orded so Inhad to ask again then he told me, and at that time I said ok to leave it. So I paid he didn't have enough change in his drawer to give so he asked if he could bring it to me at my table. This is not how you are supposed to do business. I usally get good service but today was bad. It took them all the way up until I finished my food to ask if I needed more coffee, they never asked if I needed anything else. This spot is near by where I was picking up parts from. My parts were not ready yet so I came here for lunch. Friendly service Kimberly is very nice and polite. I ordered the natural cheese burger grilled onions and fries no salt. It was delicious I didn't realize farmer boys was this good. I was impressed. The staff are all staying busy. Kimberly is cleaning tables filing coffee cups filling up customers drinks doing drive through. This girl is on fire. For sure gotta get that employee of the month. This place is clean and the staff quickly cleans tables once you leave. Telling you goodbye this place has like a small diner vibe. It's cool. Looks like I'll be hitting up farmer boys more often. Pretty decent burgers & food - not bad at all (I keep going back)! However, they are all for nickel & diming customers. For example, regular sized friend zucchini you get 1 ranch dressing. For the large size (pretty much double the amount of zucchini), you still get 1 ranch dressing. Additional ranch dressing is chargeable. read more

We went to this location for the first time ever although we used to eat often at the Lake Elsinore location before we moved to Temecula and I have to say that everything from the young lady working the drive thru window to the food was perfect! I wish I'd gotten her name but it was today, the 26th at about 7:30 pm, and she was a beautiful, young, possibly Hispanic but whatever her nationality, she's definitely an asset to this restaurant and should be recognized as such. I had the fish and chips and have only one complaint! It was way too much food for this lady who is trying her best to lose some weight!! I was planning on splitting the meal into 3 dinners because it's so much food but it was so good I only was able to save half but it was worth the calories. And my husband had a burger with the add on chili fries and as always he loved it. I wish it was a little closer to our house but we'd planned on trying out Dickies BBQ, but after waiting 30 minutes in line with only 2 people before us and realizing that it was going to be at least another 30 minutes we immediately realized that you were right down the road! AM Manager rocks. (Not sure of his name DANG IT! but he is hispanic and has a wonderful attitude). Manager kept our coffee cups full and always had a smile. We are in Temecula often- almost weekly. We have left the local tavern and diner places behind and have come here time and time again because of this manager and his great staff that seem to work efforlesly for him (and us!) Matthew was working his rear end off cleaning nonstop and helping the many other people there. This place is clean. Restrooms are clean. Breakfast foods here are good portions and good price. Some other reviewers think the owners are bad towards staff and customers. OK...I have never seen them thank goodness -so maybe they should just let this manager do his thing. Eat here. Period. When you go into a place like a Farmer Boys you expect the food to be exponentially better than say a Mickey Ds or Burger King, especially because the prices are so much higher. The food here was just okay, but certainly not that much better than the other fast food chains. This is a nice place in a decent location. The place is clean and the people friendly. My veggie burger was average at best, the fries were okay. My friend said his Bacon Boy burger was decent but nothing to brag about. Biggest disappointment is that they do not have combos that include the drink and fries, those came separately. Two burgers, one fries, two drinks: almost 20 bucks. And the options at the fountain machine sucked. Definitely not worth it. If this is the offerings at all Farmer Boys, I will be eating elsewhere. read more

I ordered coffee with my breakfast, and eventually had to walk up to counter to get my cup of coffee. My table was a little dirty, had to ask for it to be wipes off. Maybe they just finished a rush. When you go to a place with the word "farm" in it you think fresh and good. I took a wrong turn and ended up in the parking lot of Farmers Boy. I decided since me and my twins needed to eat lunch we would get some food. I got the big cheese combo and two kids cheeseburger meals. I also got zucchini with my meal. I also got a small chocolate shake. I was not impressed at all. The shake tasted like Hershey's syrup, the burger patty was a processed thin yuck. I would think for the price of this place you would get real ground beef burgers. The zucchini was flavorless and the coating was soggy and falling off. My twins did not like their burgers either. Julio is an asshole!!!! How can you call yourself a manager but treat your employees like shit. Today I heard him yelling at the 3 girls who was working there. Whenever I go in the girl at the counter named Sophia is always nice and curtious. I have also left compliments with Julio about the service I have received from Siphia and the other girls. We stopped going to this Farmer Boys and make a longer trip to the one off Cal Oaks or up in French Valley due to the rude and slow service. My food is often made wrong or missing items. The Manager we seem to always deal with that's runs the front counter is often short and rude. My family is a ranch family and he always gives attitude when we ask for cups of ranch like he personally has to pay for it. Once the cashier had to sneak cups into our bag so she wouldn't get in trouble. I don't have this issue at any other location. read more

Steve, the man behind the counter, is always courteous and offers good insight into the menu (right now, bread bowls are in season). They have a good offering for: burgers, salads, sandwiches, and various breakfast offerings. People I know come here for the breakfast, but I prefer the Farmer's Burger (1/2 Patty, American cheese, hickory smoked bacon, avocado, 1000 island dressing, fresh produce). I was surprised as Farmer Boys typically has good costumer service, not sure if it was the fact that we went in after 7pm but the manager should not be a manager specially with his attitude. First of all he did not asked anything about the order but was kind of mad when my child told him that he wanted milk instead of a fountain drink.
