When you go to a place with the word "farm" in it you think fresh and good. I took a wrong turn and ended up in the parking lot of Farmers Boy. I decided since me and my twins needed to eat lunch we would get some food. I got the big cheese combo and two kids cheeseburger meals. I also got zucchini with my meal. I also got a small chocolate shake. I was not impressed at all. The shake tasted like Hershey's syrup, the burger patty was a processed thin yuck. I would think for the price of this place you would get real ground beef burgers. The zucchini was flavorless and the coating was soggy and falling off. My twins did not like their burgers either. Julio is an asshole!!!! How can you call yourself a manager but treat your employees like shit. Today I heard him yelling at the 3 girls who was working there. Whenever I go in the girl at the counter named Sophia is always nice and curtious. I have also left compliments with Julio about the service I have received from Siphia and the other girls. However, when asking if the girls were talked to by Julio about my review they both told me no. Julio does not deserve to be a manager there. The food is great but the management (Julio) is horrible. We stopped going to this Farmer Boys and make a longer trip to the one off Cal Oaks or up in French Valley due to the rude and slow service. My food is often made wrong or missing items. The Manager we seem to always deal with that's runs the front counter is often short and rude. My family is a ranch family and he always gives attitude when we ask for cups of ranch like he personally has to pay for it. Once the cashier had to sneak cups into our bag so she wouldn't get in trouble. I don't have this issue at any other location. read more

Absolutely the worst. I came here about a year ago and the burgers were pretty good but today they were horrible. My Wife, Mother and I all had burgers and all of them were dry, overcooked and lacked any flavor. My son had the chicken strips and he also said they were very dry and salty. I'm buying 40 something dollars worth of food at a fast food place and they charge extra for another pack of ranch. Really?! I hate restaurants like this. No integrity or value to their customers!! Three egg breakfast is only two eggs...apparently cook can't count to 3. When presented, they fix it by sending 3 more eggs 5 minutes later after toast and has browns are cold. Not bad for fast food. Always friendly service. Love the zucchini wedges, huge! Cheap! Always hot. Ranch has fresh buttermilk in it. Burgers may not be as good as in & out, but fair much better then any other chain hamburger joint. They have an online/app club wear you can earn points and get coupons/promotions. Just cutting straight to the chase. It's been a very long time since I last visited a Farmer Boys location and due to time constraints it was a quick and convenient choice. I ordered the avocado bacon cheeseburger meal with onion rings and an oreo milkshake. The meat patty was good. The bun was probably potato bread and tasted OK, but was too soft IMO (nothing wrong with soft) but it didn't hold well. It started to tear apart rather easily. Bacon was a chewy and not crispy even though I requested it crispy. The cheese was too melted and mushy and almost halfway to becoming cheese sauce. I regret not asking if they had cheddar. Onion rings were good and very large in size, not in quantity served. Had a total of 4 pieces with the meal. Not too much of an issue for me. The milk shake was literally that....milk. I looked over at the menu board and it said "Made with real ice cream". Well, either the ice cream melted (very unlikely as I had them wait for a bit before they made it) or it was mostly milk and maybe a half scoop of ice cream at best. Just too liquidy and not thick and enjoyable with a meal. The topper was the dining area. It was literally fly-fest. I counted a total of eight, yes 8, flies just within my line of sight. Many of them just frozen in position for long periods of time, including one at the far end of my table's corner. (I took pictures, I've got proof). Needless to say with my subpar meal, the liquid milkshake, and being surrounded by uninvited guests, I lost my appetite and only consumed half of my meal, and the shake was not worth catching the betes. So why two stars? One for the pleasant staff and the other for the onion rings. read more

Just a heads up for my friends avoiding Gluten or anyone with Celiac. They use Bacon Bits in their California omelet instead of real bacon which has gluten in it and made my daughter and I sick. Chicken Cobb salad is super good, fresh chicken, ton of bacon, avocado, bunch of cheese, and a hard boiled egg. The true radness of this salad is how much they give you. Couldn't understand anything they said through the drive thru speaker, and they ended up not getting my full order. It was difficult to decide as I couldn't ask any questions as I couldn't understand anything they said. Eventually, I pulled up to the window and sat there for like 10 minutes lol. Finally, they confirmed my order, and had missed one of my items. I got the avocado bacon burger, mountain dew, and had to add chili cheese fries since they had missed it. Was like, $15 and the fries were pretty bad. The burger was okay, but I had to wait 10 more minutes after I got my order confirmed to get my food, and they didn't even give me my drink until after I got my food. They also put onions in my fries despite me asking not to. I'm 16 years old and it takes a LOT for me to be dissatisfied with service, especially since I work in fast food and understand that things fall through sometimes. It takes even more for me to write a review, as this is literally the first review I've ever written in my life. Would not recommend going here, sorry not sorry. read more

This place sucks. I searched Yelp looking for a good burger joint on my way home to San Diego from Idyllwild. This place was 3 miles out of the way -- no biggie, especially since this place claims to have the "world's best burgers". Upon arriving, we were immediately put off because it looks like any other fast food chain. (NOT what we were looking for.) Had the opportunity to try out a gorgeous breakfast burrito at the farmer boy. I really enjoyed the ham! It really made the burrito. I especially liked how it was brought out to me on the saucer! So, got two farmer chop salads, asked for blue cheese dressing on both.. Came here for dinner, not busy, i took it to go, by the time i got home and opened it up, i had one mini blue cheese dressing and one giant ranch dressing, and the salad came with a very, very very small amount of chicken on it. Paid 17 bucks for two terrible salads and not even the right dressing. Wont be coming here again. read more

My wife and I now look forward to going to Farmers Boys every Sunday for breakfast, good service and the front person Linette and the fabulous pricing. We both get a complete breakfast on Sunday mornings and in most cases it is more than what we can eat and along with that we get coffee's for both of us. Linette is so terrific that she treats us like we're Vip guest during every visit and we get the friends family and senior discount. With so much food for the both of us, we would be paying $21 without that discount we get the entire breakfast for only $16.80, WOW more than a terrific deal. We were getting the same breakfast at other restaurants in the area and we were paying between 32 to $35 for the same amount of food. That saying, we are getting our breakfast for half the price, better service, more food and we get Linette. The only thing that we could do better, to get homemade breakfast, we would have to be living there at the restaurant. All the kudos for the staff and for Linette! Great job!! read more
