I don't know what's going on with this restaurant, but something has happened over the last 4-6 months and it's not functioning like it should. I have gone to the restaurant at least 4 times over the last 2 months, during normal work hours where they should be open, and they're closed. Nothing posted about modified hours, just the restaurant is closed. I'm talking 5 PM here, not like 7:57 or closing time. Maybe the owner is not onsite during the afternoon/evening hours, but I never had problems eating here before the last few months. I used to frequent this location 2-3 times a month, and I haven't been able to eat here in about 3 months now. I appears the delivery apps have possibly dropped provider service as well, because now if I try to order food I can only get it from the Murrieta location. I like this place especially because the boss always treats us here when we work Saturdays. I normally get the double burger with a side of onion rings. The onion rings are huuuuge! The burger is filling as well. I also like the fried zucchini...they normally give you 4 spears which is probably equivalent to a whole zucchini. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries. Fries were horrible not crispy as they say they are. Took the burrito back to counter and showed them the egg shell. They said they were going to take it to the manager. The manager never came out to apologize. The gal at the counter when we went back said the manager is unavailable. Really. All she did was offer a credit for another meal. Didn't even offer to credit us for todays horrible meal. There staff didn't know what was in the chicken sandwich and had to ask. Really. Unacceptable. We have gone to other locations and never had issues like this. We will not ever return to this location. Management sucks and they need training too. I arrived when there was no line, yet I still ended up waiting nearly 30-40 minutes for my order which was only 2 burgers!! The cashier did not tell us anything that was going on, like how long it would take or an explanation as to why it was taking so long. Just simply payed and was left sitting there until a huge line began to form behind. Finally after waiting forever, I opened the box and was surprised to see there was barely even any fries in it. If you are going to leave your customers waiting for hours on end, the least you can do is make the food worth waiting for especially given the prices! This Farmers Boys is very dirty for being in Temecula. Not up to par at all. Dirty bathrooms always a indicator. Secondly the must mop their floors with something sticky or perhaps they are plain dirty.. The service was ok , nothing special. Lastly the root beer Foutain machine nozzle shot out fructose droplets , sporadically spraying, indicating dirty nozzles. I barely pulled my arm back in time. Bizarre experience! I used to eat at Farmer Boys pretty often when I lived in Riverside but I haven't been to one in Temecula in a couple of years. I popped in for a late lunch today. Arrived at 340 PM and two people were seated inside eating, one counter employee, two cooks. The drive through had a person or two coming through. Ordered a veggie burger to dine in. At 4 PM and at 405 PM walked up to counter to check and the girl asked the cooks and they were like okay, we'll do it. At 410 finally I had to get back to work so I just asked for a refund. Farmer boys has some bomb tasting FRESH food BUT I'm not sure that outweighs the incompetence of the majority of their employees. 9 out of 10 times your order will be WRONG. When you order a CHEESEBURGER with ketchup ONLY they think that means takes the cheese off, be careful with how you word your order and always triple check that it's correct BEFORE your leave the parking lot. They also try and close early on you. I showed up one night 5 minutes before closing to the drive-thru blocked off, so I gave them a call and the girls said "we close in 5 minutes" ok "so what does that mean" she put me on hold and ended up taking my order... but, I've ran into that several times, them trying to close early. Two words... Fried Zucchini.. My friend took me here for the first time a few months ago, I had never been, and I had no idea what to order. I went with a burger and zucchini. Oh my goodness, the BEST fried zucchini I've ever had. I actually crave it now. A few weeks later, I went back through the drive through as I was heading to a work appointment. The Farmer Boys on Winchester Road in Temecula is a few short blocks from my office, so is very convenient for me to run to for lunch. Oh, and for a breakfast burrito on the way to the office (their breakfast burritos are EXCELLENT). Unfortunately, my last two visits to this location for lunch have been less-than-perfect. On August 5th, I ordered a Natural Bacon Cheeseburger, fries, and a Pepsi with no ice through the drive-thru. The order was taken by a person standing outside with an iPad or whatever. I received all three items, but when I got back to my office I discovered there was no bacon on the burger. I paid a pretty penny to have the key ingredient missing. I tried to call them, but the phone connection sucked, so I figured I'd bring it up on my next visit. Just a few minutes ago I was starving, and had very little time to grab a lunch and bring it back to my office. I decided to duplicate my previous order, making special emphasis on the need for the bacon to actually be present, and that I should not be charged for the bacon. Simple, right? I get my bag o' food, get to my office, and discover there were no fries. I realize the bag seemed kind of light when it was handed to me, but I was in a hurry, so didn't think to put on my micromanagement hat and double-check everything. Based on the price I paid (cash), I subconsciously figured I was getting exactly what I ordered, with a slight discount to make up for the missing bacon on my previous order. It turns out I paid full price for a bacon cheeseburger and drink, and the fries I verbally ordered were not actually placed on the order. So, while the food is very good (but a bit pricey), I have to say I am very disappointed with the experience. All I ask is that you listen to the customer, and give them what they ask for - and are paying for. I know it's fast food, and that you get what you pay for, but with these prices I should be able to reasonably expect an order that is correct. read more

This morning we visited the Farmers boys on Winchester in Temecula,CA. We were the first two guests for the day arriving right at opening time. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and two coffees. What a terrible experience. We were served yesterdays coffee. It was cold and burnt. When asked if we could have hot coffee the clerk stated she would make a pot of coffee. What?!?!? Farmer chopped cob and the chicken sourdough my to go orders. Tried the veggie burger today wasn't a big fan it was bland and just not tasty... burger had way too much onions. I think my favorite part of the veggie burger is the pickles. Other than that the milkshakes are delicious I've tried the cookies and cream and the strawberry which were both really good. Like that they also have a rewards app make sure you ask for your receipt with the barcode on the bottom so you can scan for rewards. If you don't ask they usually won't give it to you. read more

This location has gone down the tubes the last 6 months. I am so tired of free food and coupons to "make up" for the bad experiences. How do you hand out a hot food order to someone before the salad order?? Then when you ask about it, they act like they had no clue you even ordered to begin with. The drive-thru is not any better. The employees are nicer and more accommodating than the Manager. The manager doesn't even speak enough English to help you resolve a problem.
