My family and I stopped here for breakfast before we hit the road. We were pleased to know that this is close to downtown Saint Augustine and there is ample parking in front of the restaurant. When we arrived, there is an immediate cashier where you can order first and then sit down. There was plenty of room for smaller parties or larger parties. This is definitely more of a quick breakfast diner feel. Unfortunately, the espresso machine was broken so we have the op in for iced coffee, which was disappointing overall the food was average. However, the best thing we did have was the spicy breakfast sandwich on ciabatta and the French toast : absolutely delicious.

This was one of my favorite places I ate while I was in St. Augustine. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. The potato taste freshly made. I really liked their hot sauce. Minor detail but I like how it enhanced the meal for me. I also really liked that parking was easy to find and parking was free. I definitely encourage others to visit.

I was heading to Flagler Hospital in St. AUGUSTINE to visit someone and decided to stop in here for something to eat. They serve breakfast from 7 to 11 and lunch from 11 to 3. The menu has breakfast plates and bowls, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, bagels, and kid size breakfast options. For lunch, they have nine sandwiches, six burgers, one bowl and one salad. I opted for the Ranchero Bowl. It contained sausage, roasted garlic potato hash, cheddar jack cheese, black bean and corn salsa, and two scrambled eggs. It was a good size portion. Whoever created that dish should be given a raise. It was so delicious. The place was pretty busy. The ice tea was also good, and it was a nice big cup.

This place has extremely friendly staff and quick service! The sandwiches and coffees were great. We came for breakfast but thought the lunch sandwiches looked better so they let us add eggs to our sandwiches :) this place has cafe-type vibes/ambiance. There were various people around on their computers doing work or studying. Very very chill. I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 because I do think it is a bit pricey for the portions given. After tip, I spent around $60 for the 2 coffees and 2 lunch sandwiches we got with egg added to them.

Great breakfast place! Don't know what they spice their potatoes with (chef secret-we asked) but they were amazing. Service is great even though they were super busy!

    Ranchero bowl great flavor

We came for breakfast because of the real good yelp reviews. The place is very spacious. The Ranchero Bowl and coffee was very good. The staff had great attitudes. I can only suggest if you're asking for an 18,20 or 25% tip after you pay you should not have to go in line to order. No water being brought to you or anywhere to be seen. Staff was to busy to ask not their fault. Have to take food bowls and garbage to trash can. I honestly always give at least 20% but I won't be back. Ranchero Bowl has very good flavor.

I loved this restaurant from the minute we walked into it. The owner met us with a huge smile and reassured me that my gluten free breakfast was gluten free. He makes all the gluten free bread and meats at the restaurant and you can tell by the flavor. I will tell everyone to go here. Thank you for a great breakfast. B

First time ever getting this food. There was a GIANT PIECE OF PLASTIC INSIDE THE SANDWICH!!! Disgusting! Do NOT eat here! If a whole piece of hard black plastic can get into the food, who knows what else could be in there.

To be honest what catch me from far away to try it was "farm and the ktchn" I was early as you can tell. Food was okay not impressive, very different of what they portray on their outside pictures. Pancakes were meh whatever but loved their super crispy bacon. I was charged $5.00 for a tiny bowl of roasted potatoes that were pretty flavorful in comparison to how they looked. Always order coffee with my breakfast but that area looked pretty dirty and messy so I didn't even bothered ordering. Bathroom weren't the cleanest either to say the least.

If you're looking for a great brunch place. This is it. 10/10 recommendations Their handmade coffee is also very good as well.

Worst breakfast experience I ever have. low service and bad coffee I don't recommend this place

There was nothing special about Farmhand. The service was average, the portions are small the food was ok but not great. This restaurant thrives because of its location however it lacked the wow factor.

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

When I arrived with my pregnant wife and my service dog, he asked somewhat curtly if it was a service dog. After I confirmed and thanked him, he rudely placed the menu on the table, turned around without saying another word or showing any basic courtesy, and just walked away with his back to us. It was a pretty cold and uncomfortable welcome. That said, the restaurant is absolutely charming. I really loved the interior ambiance--it's cozy, well-decorated, and has a very pleasant vibe. The food was extremely delicious. We ordered the Half Pound Ice Plant Burger and it was juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could taste the quality in every single bite--the meat was perfect, the ingredients fresh, and everything very well balanced. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had recently. Despite the initial host experience, I would return without hesitation for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended, but they could improve the initial greeting.
