Great breakfast. Perfectly cooked omelet, good biscuit & gravy, fluffy pancakes. Reasonably priced.

It is a Mom & Pop cafe/restaurant with very good food and the prices are reasonable. Do not expect a lot of choices for special things like muffins. Only 3 choices. Some one was in today and was complaining of their "limited" choices of muffins! They have a very nice selection of breakfasts and lunches!!! Give it a try. You will not be sorry, unless you expect IHOP or some other BIG chain. read more

We just went to the Farmhouse for lunch. The service was absolutely horrible!!! The waitress is a horrible person. We have come here quite a few times and everytime the service is horrible and rude. The waitress never pays attention to what she brings you. I wish I knew what her name was but she is so mean. She says she wants to know when it isn't right, but then turns around saying it's your fault and she has nothing to do with how it comes out. As a good waitress she should have made sure that the order was correct. She has accused me of having bad taste buds. She also has pushed on my arm and ignored me when I have talked to her. I reached for the bill, she went behind me and gave ot to my husband. When I told her we won't be back, she said Denny's is opened 24/7. She then proceeded to come out wipe down tables and call us b******. It is uncalled for. I really hope that the owner sees this so he knows how his guests are being treated. read more

We stopped here on our way to New Mexico and enjoyed a late breakfast/early lunch. We'd never been before but were drawn in by the promise of home-cooked food. And we were not disappointed. I enjoyed a breakfast burrito with green chiles while my husband ate every bite of his veggie omelet. The coffee was also very good, as was the service. What a gem this little place is! Delicious homemade muffins (I had the coconut). The chicken fried steak is perfect as well as the country potatoes. Cute and clean inside. Excellent service as well. Stopped for a quick bite to eat on our way to Tombstone. Had sandwiches, they arrived quickly and were tasty.

Went in 1/9/19 with my fiancé, we were seated in a timely fashion by the cook. We then waited 30 minutes, and moved by the server because apparently the table was reserved. Waited another 15 minutes for tea. Got our food, our eggs were over cooked and I received the wrong food, and gravy that was so spoiled it not only tasted horrible but smelled bad as well. Nobody asked how it was. Flagged the waitress down and told her how bad it was, she talked to the OWNER who asked if we wanted something different. I said no we've already been here long enough. Went to go pay for the drinks since we didn't eat the rotten and poorly cooked food and was made to pay the whole bill, mind you we didn't even eat. Now I am a server and my fiancé is an executive chef. We understand the industry. This was the absolute worst dining experience I've ever had. We will never return and will be letting the very many people we know in this community and surrounding ones to do the same. Disgusting and unprofessional to say the least. read more

I ordered the 3 Amigos Omelette, hash browns and biscuits and gravy were delicious. Found this nice little gem driving to New Mexico. The hostress/waitress was a charming Filipina women who immediately asked my wife if she was half Filipino, which made my wife's day. They serve breakfast all day which immediately gave them 4 stars in my book. The food was marvelous and the kids did not complain about any of their food so they got another star. The décor was bright and cheery. We got in around 11:00 and sat amongst the locals. I like little small town diners like this place. Place was old but clean and orderly and looked to be a very small but adequate staff. The place was decorated with farm house pictures and overall a country themed setting. I would expect something like this back home in Kansas, so made my day being we were in Benson. I'd definitely come back again if we ever find ourselves here again. read more

My family and I stopped in because I was looking at the reviews and thought I would try it. I am so happy that we did . The food was AMAZING!!!! The only reason I didn't give the place 5 stars is because the drinks were bad at first. The tea didn't taste good, so I changed it and my daughters drink had a couple of ants in it. I would like to say the food was good.....not great. Beans on the spoiled side. The waitress we had for breakfast was just terrible. Messed up both orders..had to take one back and charged extra for things we did not get. When asked about the amount she stated, "Just give me the money, I have customers." My wife stated she is a customer and was ttold by the waitress, "If you don't like it go to McDonalds." Well, guess where I will never eat again? Went here for breakfast on our way back to Tucson. We thought about supporting a local business and trying something that wasn't a chain. Boy were we wrong...McDonald's would have been a better choice. There were 5 of us, and we are not picky or unreasonable people. We were seated quickly (after having waited a few minutes for someone to show up), and had our drink order taken. A few minutes later, the man who seated us took our order. He wasn't particularly forthcoming with friendliness or even personality. He answered questions, but offered no extra details. My friend ordered plain pancakes, and another ordered coffee with a water, while I had water and a scramble. The drinks never came. The food showed up after about 15 minutes, and still no drinks. The pancakes that showed up were blueberry. Not plain. There was no recognition of what was ordered or a check in to make sure all was accurate. There was an issue there. The drinks only came after we asked for them. A huge no no. There was a couple that was seated already, and they had a table full of food, but they got up and walked away. We aren't sure why, but they left it all. Another table sent something back, and it looked like a cook was arguing with them about it. We will not be going here again. We do not recommend this place at all. Out of the 5 of us, the server earned a $0.33 tip. That was only because I paid in cash and didn't care for my change. read more

This is a tiny, cute little mom&pop shop in Benson, AZ. Everything is homemade from their baked cornbread to their fried chicken. My wife and I really enjoyed our meals. Our experience was different from the reviews I read- service was fine but the food was unremarkable. The meatloaf was flavorless and the grilled turkey sandwich was good but light on turkey. The coleslaw was Ronny with too much mayonnaise. We didn't try the baked goods but they looked good. There were few places to choose from in the area and this looked to be the cleanest. Terrible experience from start to finish. Waitress/hostess was a crabby lady with terrible people skills. Our orders came out and were missing a few things, ok no big deal. Asked for refills on drinks, she brought one, not the other, again no big deal. She asked if our check was separate or together, to which we all replied separate... then she brought out a combined check, ok we'll split at the register. At the register... she's arguing with one of us about having a drink or not, to which my friend replied TWICE that she did in fact have a drink. Then she hands us our receipts and we're questioning an 18% charge on top of the tax... she says "oh that's the tip.. we don't make enough hourly and people don't tip..". So she forced a LARGE tip on us, and when we politely told her she cannot do that she got loud and continued to say things like "3 restaurants closed in the last year because no one tips.." one girl even had a double tip charge! And instead of ringing us out before taking another persons order she tells us she'll be right back to take his order.. lady, come on! And food was average at best. No part of this experience rated a tip at all if I'm being completely honest. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

We took a day trip to Tombstone and stopped here, just happened to see it. Food was delicious, fries the best! My husband and teen son think I am crazy for being critical about fries. Ask yourself how many big chain places do mediocre fries? They are usually cold, tasteless and unremarkable. This place seasoned the fries but did not over salt. I had a turkey cheese sandwich, husband had a club sandwich and son had pancakes - we all loved it. It seemed locals went there so we knew it would be good. Looks like a house converted into a restaurant which is fine with me. I would rather eat at a simple family owned place then a chain restaurant that paid more attention to cool perfectly printed advertising to entice folks with boxed pre-cooked food put off as homemade. read more
