What a $hitshow. My family came in on a Monday afternoon ask asked for seating. We were instructed that there would be an hour wait. They take our name and tell us they will text us when a table is ready.. and warned us that If we don't respond to the text within 5 minutes, they will give our table away. Ok great. We walk down to a store, look around for a few and head back to the pizza place. As we were walking back I get the text. I responded back within one minute. My husband walked up to the desk and was told they gave our table away because they said they sent the message at whatever time and 5 minutes passed. So I show the kid at the desk the time stamp on my phone, so they begrudgingly seat us. It was 1:29PM. Time passes. No server. No drinks. It's hot asf. . Two servers walk by.. A third server walks past, and by that time it was 2:10PM and no one had come to the table. I had a small child with me, so I got up and left the restaurant entirely; but my remaining family stayed. They didn't get their meal until 2:40. I can't say that I will ever recommend this location again because of the lack of service. read more

We did pickup, and when I went in to go get it, the woman at the front said "Oh there's no pepperoni" (which we ordered and is in the description of the deluxe pizza) and proceeded to hand me it. I responded with "Well I kinda wanted pepperoni". They made me another one that had pepperoni that I waited an additional 20 minutes for, but I've never been to a restaurant where they knowingly messed up on it- and still tried gave it to me. The woman at the front and the chef were laughing about how there was no pepperoni, and the chef didn't seem to care at all. This made me feel kind of awkward by their response. Not only was there no pepperoni, but the pizza was very burnt as you can see in the photo. The vegetables were dried up and there was hardly any pizza sauce. I have to say of all the Farrelli's restaurants, this one is my absolute favorite! I've been to all of the ones in the area and this location takes the cake. My personal favorite is a classic: Pepperoni Pizza with extra cheese! Of course you can't have good pizza and NOT have a beer to go with it. The bar is stocked with pretty much everything you could ask for and more. The staff is friendly and attentive and leaves nothing unnoticed. Nathaniel (bartender), is probably my favorite staff member. He is always friendly, inviting and provides exceptional service! I would rate this place 10 stars if it was possible! read more

Been there twice to watch sports with friends and love the place. The menu is about what you would expect and the food is good and fresh. One time I only got a beer and some water and the service was still polite and attentive. It's funny when the tip is bigger than the order. I've been to this location many times, and I get disappointed by inconsistency. I think staff is working too quickly and may be overwhelmed. Nearly every time I come here I don't get the toppings I ask for. I've learned that anytime I order for pick up, to check the pizza right then and there, vs go home to find it's not what I ordered. I'm also frustrated by how few toppings they put on the pizza. Especially when you order a build-your-own pizza and spend 50-99 cents per topping. That said there has been a couple of good times - their appetizers and drinks have been good and the location is great for get togethers with friends. I have eaten many times at the Farrelli's at Point Ruston. Was quite shocked at the service and pizza provided. Called in pizza well over an hour before pickup. Was not ready and waited 10-15 minutes after my on time arrival. I used a gift card and cash to pay for pizza. The cashier said, "did you want your change?" Got the impression she expected a tip for a pizza that wasn't even made yet. I said, yes I would. She started counting my change, then indicated she didn't have enough coin to provide my change. She said, will you take this or did you want me to look for the rest. I took what she had. I finally received the pizza when they brought it to the bar. I said thank you and they left. I picked up the pizza, which was not hot but warm. I looked at the pizza and was quite surprised at the lack of ingredients for a 16 inch deluxe pizza. I cut my losses and left. Now I will give Farrelli's another chance in the future but it won't be a call in or online order as I don't have much faith that the order will be done correct. read more

It was ok is all I can say. We had wanted to go to a newer place that was next door but found after we got there that it was closed on Tuesday nights. Ordered grab and artichoke dip to start. It arrived quickly surrounded by dippers which appeared to be pizza dough cut into smaller pieces. Tasty but the dip was awful. Tasted very fishy. When we mentioned it to our server she said it's made fresh every day but who knows how old the crab was. She took off 25%, should have been taken completely off the bill. Hubs had spaghetti and meatballs, said it was ok, not wonderful. I opted for a salad which sounded good and got the lite size. For what they charged me it was way too small and lackluster. Decided to grab a bite with a friend after watching a movie and boy oh boy is this a long bite to wait for. As my friend and I entered the restaurant the host/hostesses automatically assumed we were part of the huge Indian family standing before us waiting to be seated so it took a good 5 minutes for them to realize we're not actually with them. Upon the realization a host finally asked us where we'd like to sit and of course it being a nice day out we decided to sit outside. As we got seated the server came up to hand us menus and get us started with drinks. We both asked for just water and ended up waiting for a good 15 minutes before she showed back up with the waters to take our order. We had planned to just order one medium pizza to share but the server ended up convincing us to get the breadsticks as well. So we ordered the traditional bread sticks and the pesto balsamic vinegar chicken pizza though we asked for red sauce as a substitution yet didn't get it but that was fine. FOOD: The breadsticks were nothing what I had thought they'd to be, I assumed they were just traditional long breadsticks you dip in marinara sauce. To my surprise they were pretty much a cheese pizza with the marinara sauce on the side. Though they were tasty! The pizza wasn't that bad either, not the worst but also not the best pretty decent. Though I felt it was more on the doughy side. It just tasted like any ol pizza just with pesto sauce. THE WAIT FOR THE FOOD IS FOREVER YALL. Like our appetizer [breadsticks] was served literally over 30 minutes after taking our order and then we waited another 20 for the pizza. And waiting for the check, yall it took 20 minutes to get our cards back. Our goal was to grab a bite then watch the sunset but it literally took so long we ended up missing it. Personally I felt this was due to the lack of servers not necessary the servers themselves. There was more than just one table either waiting to be served or waiting for the check. The server we had was really nice and created small talk with us and even gave us some cookies as we left the restaurant. I do see myself coming here in the future just not sitting in the restaurant but rather getting a pizza to go and sit by the water and eat. Well, I'm happy to say we actually had a pretty good time on our past visit. The food was much better and our service was outstanding (thank you, Orion). I actually think the great service is what really made the difference. I hope they continue to get better. We were about to throw in the towel and head back over to the original 6th Ave location, even though we live right up the hill from Point Ruston. My only complaint is that there is always something that is forgotten with the kids meal/experience. This time my daughter actually got her pizza dough to play with, her carrots and ranch before dinner, and her cookie treat after, but they didn't have any balloons blown up. These aren't difficult things and this is definitely one of the main reasons we go to Farelli's. read more

A number of reasons why i gave them the lowest rating possible. 1. I was quoted a wait time of 1-1.5 hours for dine in. (yikes! That's not a good start, but they can't be blamed for being popular...?) This alone wouldn't be a reason to dock a score much if the rest of the food/service was good. 2. I was told we could order to go (which was a somewhat acceptable idea because we could take the pizza to go and eat by the water front). I was told the wait would be much shorter. (BUT... it still ended up being over an hour wait). 3. While my party attempted to review the menu and make up our collective minds whether we wanted to eat here, or go elsewhere - The hostess helped convince us to eat there by pointing out the specials that were available for to-go orders. THE SPECIALS helped us to solidify our plan and how to share the order amongst our party. We ordered a special that included two 16 inch pizzas as well as breadsticks and a salad (I believe this was the entire offering of the special). There was another special that said you could get a $5 cheese pizza with the purchase of ANY 16 inch pizza (this would be perfect for my picky daughters-they can get a small cheese pizza for a reasonable price!). So after getting the group to agree on our order, we attempted to order BOTH of the specials. I was told no. The two specials can't be ordered with each other. It's either one or the other. There was no print on the promo indicating this. We've all seen the language "Specials can not be combined" or some other version of that. There was no such language. So instead, I was told a cheese pizza would be about $22 if i wanted to add it on to the existing order. $22 to feed my kids a cheese pizza. I'm not cheap. I'm not poor. But that's ridiculous. I explained that their menu / specials didn't say that. But the hostess was indifferent and unapologetic. Her supervisor was walking by, so we inquired if this was truly a rule, or if there was a workaround - because nothing was indicating this exception on their promo. Unfortunately - she had the same lack of enthusiasm for resolving this. 4. So we had to regroup and figure out how to divide the order appropriately again. once ordered - The pizza took over an hour to be ready. Not only did it take a long time but the pizzas came out at different times. Of course they could have held one pizza while they took their sweet time on the the other one - but then that pizza would have been cold. So we elected to take the one pizza and come back for the 2nd. 5. The pizzas were "ok". Absolutely nothing about the meal made it worth it. I wouldn't wait an hour for that meal again. I wouldn't wait 1-1.5 hours for a table to have that meal, and I wouldn't have paid $22 for a cheese pizza for my girls. I'll end my review with this summary. their success is dependent on society loving pizza, and having few alternatives. I'd have given their pizza a 2-3 star review without the special / promo pricing BS and the lack of interest from two different staff members... but the truth is the entire experience made me feel like this dining experience was one of the most irritating ive had in years. 1 star. and i feel like its deserved... read more

Alright let me start with how Racist this spot is. We're sitting down and I'm with my family. The girl comes at least twenty minutes later to ask us what we want; we order it's going well until the drinks come out and we realize it's not what we asked for. We asked her politely to take it back so she did. She diluted it with water and gave it back to us. Okay we tried it it's still the same drink. Whatever right moving on, we suck it up. My sis in law asks one of the girls what the wifi password is she just stares at her and looks away. Before I sound obnoxious, we don't have service in this area and we're always working on our phones. So she ignored us This is when I start getting upset. Then the wings come out they are chicken nuggets that are garbage and I asked for bone in. Okay great third thing gone wrong. Then they bring the pizza out and it's not on pizza trays like everyone else's. I end up asking her why are you giving us different treatment than the rest of everyone who was white? There was a black family behind us, the waitresses were making fun of them and pointing at them we overheard them calling them annoying and loud. That's when I just had it and I was fuming. Here's the thing, I rarely have racist encounters but it's one thing to be rude to us but also speak poorly about the people behind us? Clearly there a race issue going on. This place has beautiful views it's right on the water with great overlook of the bay and the islands across looking into Tacoma. It has a varied menu with a lot of creative options, the atmosphere is typical open family style restaurant with tall ceilings and great lighting. It has two huge garage bay doors that open up onto the bay for good weather occasions. Classy, Hipster, Family Style. Booths and large tables available. Staff was nice, helpful and very professional! My sister and I recently visited the Ruston location with our kiddos. We were seated and ignored. The four of us literally sat and watched three booths being filled and their orders taken after our arrival. Our kids kept complaining they were hungry so finally we had to flag somebody down to take our order. Instead of being apologetic for the wait, she stood there as if we did something wrong making the order very unpleasant (the person to our understanding who took our order was the bartender that stepped in to help out). I specifically requested at the time of the order to split the bill, in the end that never happened, instead a receipt was placed at our table with no conversation causing another inconvenience. When our pizza was delivered by the hostess, we asked for plates we never saw her again or plates. When our kiddos asked why they didn't get to have the dough or the carrots we had to leave our booth and find somebody to get those for us, lacking the cookies they are used to. Halfway through the first slice of pizza we all looked at each other and realized we had no napkins or utensils. Again, we had to leave the booth and find somebody to bring us napkins. During our entire time spent at this location not once were we asked how we were doing, if we needed anything, absolutely no interaction took place unless we took the initiative to make it happen because of the things that were lacking. The service here was terrible and I have never experienced anything like this. When we had to look for somebody to get boxes for our pizzas and finally left, the hostess, the girl who waited on us and another employee stood there whispering and eyeballing us. Not once did we hear have a great day or thank you for coming in. At the end of the day, my sister and I came to the conclusion either we were discriminated against because of our skin color, which we are both Latina proud, or it was a truly the worst customer service we've ever encountered. Ambiance was fantastic. We had company and decided to give them the tour of waterfront. They wanted pizza so here we r. It's thurs ams they have 4 pizzas on "throwback Thursday ". We had one with sausage pep mush and olive. Half was no olive ams mush for her. I thought the Pizza could have been cook a bit more. My son clearly asked for the appetizers before the pizza came. We were given no plates, napkins or forks. The pizza came no plates, no appetizers and no forks. We asked for them...didn't come. Appetizers came still not plates, forks or napkins. Waited a few minutes my husband got up and found our waitress and asked again for the same thing. Her replay why do you need forks? Unfortunately the incredibly rude person taking names at the door was such a turn-off we chose to go elsewhere. She may have had five inch fake eyelashes, but she did not have a smile, a greeting or a kind word. All she said was '45 minutes' and 'you'll get a text.' This place is overpriced for what it is, but it's close to my house so I order every so often. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. Apparently they aren't doing curbside anymore so I went in for the first time. I went to the desk exactly on time for my order pick up. I watched them put my pizza on the counter then someone brought over wings. The third person I dealt with told me they made the wrong pizza and they'd give it to me in addition to what I ordered. That seemed strange since I did a custom pizza but whatever. I told them to keep it since I can't eat pork and would have no use for it. Then 10 min wait. Then they hand me someone else's pizza.
