I have only ever been to the Farrelli's at Ruston Point, but my experience there had been so great and the pizza was so delicious I figured I would give the closer location a try. Off to Maple Valley I go, understanding that the experience would be slightly different because I would have to take my food home to enjoy it changing the experience. I walk inside ten minutes after opening and peek at a menu. I place my order and ask the young gentleman as I pay if I could wait in my car and if he could call my cell phone when it's ready. He states that he could just bring it to my car and that it will be fifteen minutes until it's done. I show him exactly which car I am (this early in the day I am the ONLY car in the lot) which was not hard to find and I proceed to my car. 25 minutes later I am still empty handed so I decide to go back inside to see if there were any difficulties. And there is my pizza on the counter waiting for me.... the second someone approaches the front and sees me (girl who greeted me when I first came in to order) asks me if she can help me and I tell her my name and she hands me the pizza, no apology, not even a glimpse of remorse. All in all I left this place peeved. I gave them an easy way to contact me so that I could get my order the second it was ready and wouldn't inconvenience them and they volunteered the option of bringing it to me and failed to do so. The pizza was good they are lucky their crust is delicious and the cold toppings didn't make it taste bad. I will eventually return to this location once my bitterness towards them is gone. This restaurant is abusive to patrons and shouldn't be trusted. I've been a patron for a period spanning 7 years -- each visit's pain points are mirrored in the negative reviews present here. Slow service, a sense of the staff owning the customers, at its extreme adulteration of packaging which telegraphs how problematic the behavioral limits. Definitely not worth the inherent risks to continue patronage, but the owner's should be put on notice from the patrons and King County Health. The photo below is a seemingly benign form of package adulteration experienced last week -- the staff decided to heat seal my take-out bag (advertised as reusable) when ordering curbside. IMO this type of behavioral license usually won't stop with package and can lead to product tampering -- won't risk a revisit. read more

While I was in the area for a meeting, I had to visit Farrelli's! I still remember going to birthday parties at Farrelli's in Lacey when I was kid, as the Lacey location is their first restaurant. Glad to see this place of so many childhood memories become a local chain and going strong! I came here for lunch and sat at the small fire pit at the high bar table. I imagine this is where many congregate over some drinks and pizza. The restaurant and bar is large, perfect for large gatherings, with a full bar and lots of TVs. I ordered Mama's Signature Salad for lunch and there are two sizes to all the salads - light and entree. After the server kindly showed me the different bowls I ended up getting the entree, thinking that the light size would not be enough buttt the entree was gigantic! I was surprised by how much they give you, nearly overfilling the bowl with all the yummy ingredients. The Mama's Signature Salad comes with lettuce, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, olives, chicken breast, tomatoes, parmesan, mozz and croutons (I ordered mine without croutons), tossed in a casaer and balsamic dressing. It was hearty yet light with all of the fresh ingredients and most of all - it was delicious! I took half to the office, which made for yummy leftovers. And the service was fantastic! My server was super friendly and efficient, and I loved how she recognized the locals and socialized with as if they're friends. I may not have been here for the pool and pizza like in years past, but I'm happy to see a Farrelli's in Maple Valley and to have spent some time here. I can imagine this place to be lively and fun during peak hours, which is exactly the kind of feeling I got every time I stepped into my hometown Farrelli's. I'll be back! read more

Great Italian food in Maple Valley. Who would have thunk it? I am from California and our tyrannical governor doesn't allow us to dine in yet so it was nice to stop in at Farrelli's on my visit to Washington. Usually Italian food is so heavy. This though was perfection. The pizza was delicious and satisfied both young and old. Perfect crust and just the right combination of toppings. We had the Northwest Traditional. No wonder it's "award winning". The meatballs are so good I had to go back the next day for some takeout meatballs. The Ravioli Alfredo is also worth seconds. My wife told me the salad was good too. I'll have to believe her since I didn't have any. Why do I want salad when I could have meatballs. Am I right? All in all nothing we had at Farrelli's disappointed. This was the first time we had Farreli's. My husband was nervous because the last few times we have tried new places, the food hasn't been very good. I'm happy to say this was NOT the case with Ferreli's. The food was very good. We ordered a 16" Deluxe Classic pizza, the Gourmet Stuffed Mushrooms, and tomato soup. The pizza was delicious, lots of fresh toppings, tangy sauce, and decent crust. The husband is very particular about his pizza and gave this one a 7.5 star rating. Believe me when I say that hus high praise coming from this man. The Stuffed Mushrooms were also really. They were cheesey and saucy and came with bread for sopping up all the delicious sauce. Lastly we ordered the tomato soup, which I'm sad to say we were not able to try because it was removed from our order by the restaurant. When I called to find out why, they said it's because the towards the end of the night they dump it because it reduces down to much. I can respect that decision to not serve something it it does meet their quality standards. We usually eat lunch here and have a good experience. Today was horrible. Our waitress was too busy visiting with other staff and didn't notice that I had my hand up trying to get her attention as I wanted to order dessert. On top of that, one of your new servers (a guy with a goatee) completely ignored me as he walked right by our table and didn't even acknowledge me while I kept saying "Excuse me....". In all honesty, the best time to eat in your bar (and get great service) is during the week when your bartender is there. He rocks and gives exceptional customer service. read more

Ordered a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and olives..when pizza came ot was missing pepperoni, I waited 20 min for him to come back after calling another server to go find him..he never checked on us after pizza came...pizza was cold by the time I told him he forgot the pepperoni and I told him he could just bring me a side of pepperoni so they don't have to make a new pizza.. and ordered dessert while he was there...pepperoni came out same time as dessert.. so I just didn't eat it. No apologies from him . Cherry on the top is when I received my apple crisp it was served in a skillet on top of a dirty used plate with someone's salad on it!!!!! When I told him he grabbed the plate saying nothing and then dropped check... 20 min later...waiting to pay... I had to flag down another server again!!! When he finally approached I had my 10 dollars off new customer coupon and he said they aren't taking those tonight. There was maybe 5 other tables and 3 other servers, it was not busy. I'm so glad my husband and I tried this place! We were searching for wood fire pizza and came across this restaurant and were sure glad we did. We tried the 12" deluxe classic, chicken Florentine pasta and the cheese bread. Everything tasted really good and fresh. The pizza had a ton of meat on it and I actually had to take some off (which is very unusual because most places underserve their meat portions). Attention!!!! KETO friendly pizzas! This was our first time here, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that Farrelli's offers a "gluten free pizza crust". Upon further questioning, the crust is made from cauliflower. This had to be an absolute "must try". Let me just say, this thinly crusted, stone fired, and heavenly baked pizza was amazing! A perfect quench of artisan choices if you're yearning for a great pizza. I, myself, had the meat lovers, and it was fantastic. I was able to share a chicken ranch, as well. I was also taken aback by your drink menu. Seriously? Blue Chair?!!! FINALLY!!! A restaurant that incorporates some heavenly rum to their fully stocked bar. My 18 year old son came in with a group of his friends. He was the only colored (Asian/Hispanic) one out of the group. And the rest of his friends were Caucasian. He ordered a 9" pizza but was recommended by the server that he may want to go to. 12" as the 9" in such a small portion. My son agreed and your server makes a comment "Are you sure your card won't be declined?" My son caught off guard by the comment because she singled him out responds with umm no it shouldn't be. What a very inappropriate comment. My son came home pretty offended which in turn made me feel the same. Please teach your servers to respect everyone no matter the color of their skin. I'm revising my review based on a couple of factors. First of all, I love that Farelli's is open so late (midnight on weekdays, 2 am on weekends), which is the main reason I'm giving it a five-star review. It helps that their pizza is delicious! I've seriously started to crave this every week. In speaking with the manager when my husband and I first started coming here, it is clear that they take care in preparation of items, and the manager told us they could customize almost anything if needed for food allergies or personal preference. It was awesome that she knew exactly what the ingredients in their marinara sauce were; I was so impressed with their flexibility on this. However, as per my previous review, there are a couple of instances where I've felt less than cared for by staff members, in particular on the restaurant side. Bar staff are always good, but I've run into a couple of instances where the attention paid to certain things (empty drink glasses, special orders) could have been better. Either way me and my buddy Robert but I like to call him pissfingers were having a great time at this establishment I was eating pizza like how a giraffe eats the milkman. Worst calzone ever. I am giving them 2 stars because they remade one for me to come back and get, but by the time I got to my place 3 minutes away, it was complete mush. We love this restaurant. We really do. We eat here so often that we know much of the staff by name, and they know us. Is the restaurant perfect? No. Are the bad experiences below typical? No. No place is perfect, but what makes for a good restaurant is that they try hard, they care, and if you have an issue just tell your server and they'll fix it. We have, and they have done so every single time. My wife always gets the baked wings, I usually get the nachos with something different once in a while, and my daughter gets the spaghetti (no cheese, no green stuff!). We usually get the caprese plate, and the servers make a special plate with just tomatoes and the drizzle for her. She feels like a Princess there, and that's important to us. We have had several of their pizzas, and their fun monthly specialty pizzas. We haven't loved all of them, but we've loved several of them. People like Whisper, Izzy, Courtney, Abby, Griffin, and Jake make it a pleasure to eat here. I was in the town on business and decided to try this pizza place. I saw a freeway sign and the chance popped up so in I went. The place was not that busy but it took a while to get seated. I ordered the custom pizza with sausage, pepperoni, and bell peppers and thought the price was pretty reasonable. The only drink I had was a chilled glass of club soda which always goes down well. I paid at the table with the mobile terminal and of course, the server wants to see the tip you leave on the spot.
