Their sandwiches are stuffed with ingredients, regardless of which size you get. The Skinny is filling; that's their smallest size. But wait, there's more! Their bagged chips are sui generis to Potbelly. I haven't even seen them sold in Chicago. But they pair perfectly with their sandwiches. Now, I recommend washing this all down with a bit of sweetness. Their Dream Bars are AH-MAZING. Grab one, even if you save it for later. I love them. The interior is comfortable like an old shoe and, based on the postings, art work, and vibe, the store has real connectedness to its community. Note that this area leans slightly liberal but not ridiculously so. That means you might even see a Karen or two in here. Also, true to the notion that "culture comes from the top down," the staff that helps you, often students, are very polite and customer-focused when the chain coffeehouses are almost at the point of sliding things at you.
