Spinach omelette

Nothing too fancy, but had a good experience. It was giving vintage, nostalgic American-style diner. Overall it seemed pretty clean. The food was also good, a bit bland and coffee and hot chocolate were very watery but overall good for a simple local restaurant. Service was good, our waiter was very nice.

Reasonable prices. Fast friendly service. Delicious Potato pancakes, perfectly cooked poached eggs. Average coffee.

This deli seems to be very popular. We ordered pizza by the slice and two muffulettas. While we waited I enjoyed looking at all the different Italian pastas, desserts and even pasta machines. They do have gift baskets ready to go. It was my first time there and all in all a good experience.

Cheeseburger and fries. It had more toppings but I ate them.

Finally I found a restaurant that was consistently good every time and they give large portions of everything no matter what you order. Great taste great customer service. And won't break the wallet. What's the perfect atmosphere for dining.

My boyfriend and I visited Luna's at 10:30 on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately, which we were pleasantly surprised by. Our experience was great! The service was a little slow because they were so busy, but the staff was incredibly friendly! Despite the fact that our waitress was so busy, she still checked on us multiple times and made sure our drinks were never less than half full. To top it off, the food was amazing. My boyfriend and I ordered the southern skillet, biscuits and gravy, and banana nut pancakes, and we loved all 3 items. I would absolutely recommend Luna's to anyone!! I wish I would've taken a photo of the food before we dove in!

The chicken parmesan is great! Serving size is large. My only problem is why not put your menu on line?

They just keep placing another brisket on, and the ribbons of beef keep falling. The order counter is tiny, with a line out the door: regulars, tourists like me, and food delivery drivers all waiting their turn. There are meat trimmings everywhere, tubs of pickles, and the sense that the folks behind the counter know exactly what they are doing. The small dining room is packed with people sitting elbow to elbow, gripping massive sandwiches with stadium mustard in the corners of their mouths. It is loud, cramped, messy, and glorious. I've gone to heaven.

I joined the line just before 11 and got inside about 11:50 AM. I'm currently standing in line waiting on my sandwich which is a corned beef melt. I ordered a corned beef melt, which is toasted rye, cornbeef, double Swiss cheese - hot & melted with Kraut on the side and dressing. I got a side of potato pancakes, and also coleslaw. The folks were extremely friendly on the inside, very welcoming and very efficient as they worked to make who knows how many meals. And you'll be glad to know every sandwich comes with a dill pickle, wrapped in its own paper and ready for delicious consumption! The dill is a big deal to me because I like spears, as in the pickle not necessarily (in this case) the pop star! Come early and be ready to wait! The place is really kitchsy and has a great atmosphere. And the folks really make it awesome to be there. It has the feel of a destination restaurant the kind of place that is an experience to visit not just because of the food because of the culture and the people and the phenom that it has become.

We used to LOVE this restaurant! We still love the servers. They haven't changed. They know us by…read morenale and they know what beverage we like without having to ask. The food had always been delicious until this last visit. Given we are regulars at the place, we know the quality of the food has been consistently fantastic and the wait for the food is typical - not too fast or slow - enough to prepare the meal given how busy the place has always been. This last time, however, it was a good 45 minutes before the order came to the table. Neither one of our meals was very good. I was very hypiglycemic by this point and so I ate the french toast that was completely uncooked inside. At first I wasn't thrilled that the bread was considerably smaller than it used to be until i bit into it to find cold wet mush. I should not have eaten it at all. My friend had ordered a patty melt - medium which should be light pink in the center. It was bloody red. She sent it back and about 20 min later it came back exavtly the same. She sent it back again. Another 20 minutes later it came back well done and with spices in the meat that made the meat taste lousy. So now she had a burger that wass over cooked and tasted bad. She didnt gat to eat because by that time we were done. I wish i had turned back the french toast. I kept hoping with every bite it might be cooked. Not one bite was cooked. Not even one. Being hypoglycemic I felt like I would lose my cool if I didnt eat something so I ate. It turns out the place had been bought and the new owner really didnt care. We got to talk to the brother of the new owner who only said that the place has been very busy and that should speak to the quality. He couldnt care less about our experience. All I have to say is that they are going to be losing a lot of money having to replace meals and once people find out about the sudden drop in quality of the food, those peeople that have been filling the place will not be returning as we wont be either. We refuse to go somewhere that the owners could care less about their patrons.

First of the Mike's Chicken Noodle soup was the best chicken noodle soup around. Rich broth, carrots, celery, chunks of chicken in a hearty broth and noodles. The hearty chicken noodle now on the menu is just broth and egg noodles. Not a veggie or chicken in sight and it's too salty and bland. Very disappointing for more than $7.50 a bowl I can't even say it's disappointing it just was bad. And served luke warm. We got the reuben sandwich to split with potato salad. Toasted bread fairly good portion for $18.95 a sandwich. But the corn beef was a bit chewy. The corn beef should be tender it was not in the middle. I wanted to like it but it was just meh. Potato salad was served in the little side Dixie cup thing. I gotta say I hate that. Potato salad was more like mashed potato salad. Again not a lot of flavor or ingredients. Service was good. The employees were the same, menu is paired down. They do still have the pickles. Which is good! But the taste and overall food was not the same. Too bad. It was a great little deli. I did hear someone was buying it from the restaurant conglomerate and I hope that's true. We need the old Jacks Deli back! Or at least better than what we have now. Until this guy takes over I am avoiding g this once great deli.

When I walked in, I had to settle for an unbelievably delicious scrapple sandwich because they were temporarily out of pastrami. Scrapple with a handmade, red, cabbage, slaw, onion, marmalade, and cheese. So creative and so delicious. My wife had asparagus and fennel soup. The fennel perfectly cut through the richness of the asparagus. Add to this one of the best potato salads I've ever had and it would've been enough. Until Jeremy came over to the table with some fresh pastrami to taste. I don't know where the best pastrami in America is, but whatever it is it's unlikely to be better than this. This is a place you should not miss.

I love supporting what they have going on here, and its no surprise that they've been James Beard nominated multiple times. The rotating menu of sandwiches always deliver. The fried chicken is the staple I like the most, but my husband prefers the pastrami. Those are the two I always recommend newcomers start with. The best sandwich they make, in my opinion, is the fresh & fried tomato sandwich. I watch their Instagram posts like a hawk in August when I know the local tomato crop should be coming in, and then I try to go at least twice while it's on the menu. Sitting outside on a sunny day with fried tomato juice dripping down your chin is a version of my heaven. Don't sleep on the rest of the menu, though, where the pickle selection, house-made sodas and egg creams, and baked goods almost out shine the mains.
