The red bean latte was absolutely delicious. Loved the flavor and it actually had a really nice red bean flavor that worked with the coffee. Store was cute small.

Support dope small businesses! You can tell Fa San has a lot of love is poured into it, from the construction of the intimate shop, the vintage and quirky decor, and the uniquely delicious drinks. I ordered the red bean memory (latte with red bean) and my boyfriend ordered the yuzu bright brew (yuzu cold brew). Our drinks were made by the owner and we enjoyed them at the shop. I'm not a coffee expert by any means, but this i has got to be one of my favorite espresso drinks. It's super creamy with a subtle sweetness from the red bean. What was also really great is the temperature of my latte. It wasn't scalding hot and not lukewarm either, just the perfect drink to immediately begin savoring. My boyfriend's cold brew was really great as well - smooth, yet citrusy! Will have to come back to try more of their signature drinks!

This cozy coffee shop is decorated with vintage trinkets and the person working at the front was super welcoming. They have coffee and tea options and I went with the Jasmine Mango Green Tea. The drink was refreshing and fruity although i did wish it was a little sweater. Nonetheless, this shop is def worth the visit and I'll definitely check out another item.

Such a cute, local business! There's not much space, but during off hours the owner is super down to chat about coffee. The interior decor is so thoughtfully put together -- the clutter is charming yet organized. The menu itself is also mostly custom drinks, which is the sign of an owner who really is passionate about the craft. If I lived closer, I would totally frequent this shop!

Very small, long and narrow, TINY actually, coffee shop. No matcha just good coffee with interesting ingredients added. Mine was infused with earl grey I think. The owner was very friendly. All in all, I loved it and will definitely be back.

Came here after seeing video of this place. Another place that I got swindled by the videos saying how good some place is. Love visiting new coffee shop. When I came here they had light roast bean. Which I don't prefer but it still wasn't bad. I usually like something darker. So I went back to try the cold brew espresso cream. What a mistake. It was so acidic. Very sour to the taste not sure if it was the cold brew or it was the espresso cream. But terrible. I took a sip of both the light roast and the cold brew and threw it out. When I asked for some simple syrup or sugar for the light roast latte since I need something for the flavor. The barista said there was no sugar or syrup to use. The milk itself will sweeten the latte up. Sorry but it did not make the latte sweeter with milk. I'm a big coffee drinker and most places already with medium beans already taste like milk with a double shot. The light roast was straight up milk with a hint of barely the espresso. First time coming to a coffee shop with no sugar. Which appalled me. Some people have their preferences of sugar or without sugar. But I think there should be an option for people. I'll try to come back and try a different roast. It's interesting they said they rotate their beans. Which makes it fun. But having light roast for the week and or day will off put some people. I understand not everyone likes dark roast beans. And medium roast is pretty standard. I'll try to come back hopefully with a medium bean to try but I will remember to bring my own sugar to add.

This is the most innovative and intimate coffee shop in New York. Everything is made with love and curated carefully. Not your cookie cutter coffee shop. Go to try new flavors and real coffee expressions. A real homage to terroir and land.

We walked in and the shop was cozy and clean. We were greeted by the staff. They were very friendly and helped us promptly. On many lists, it was number one, so I had to give it a try. I went out of my way to walk over to grab a cookie. You can tell that many others had probably read the same list as me as there was a decent line going out the door, but it moved quickly and wasn't a deterrent. My honest review, not my favorite cookie! It leaned a little too dry and crisp and didn't have enough of that soft gooey-ness for me. Just not my preferred style! They weren't bad, but no where near my favorite. It is fun that they have a few different flavors though including the Korn cookie!

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
