The Shade Store was so unhelpful and unresponsive, so I started reaching out to places on Yelp. Precision Window Treatments responded very quickly and had the motor I needed in stock (and if I wanted the newer one, they would have still gotten it quickly). I had an appointment scheduled with a clear quote. Everything was SO quick, easy and efficient. They arrived today (side note, was a complete gentleman and brought in packages that were on my porch) and got right to work. He actually had the motor replaced within minutes, made sure everything worked, programmed it to my remote and even ensured that it was recognizing it and working on my app before leaving. I walk up to my front door at 4pm to nap my baby and he's at the front door. WORST time. My 2 year old is crying to go on a walk. My baby needs to nap. And here he is. I said I need 20 minutes to nap my baby right now and he didn't offer to wait. Just said I can call to reschedule. At first I was just focused on getting my baby to nap so I said ok and he left. But I'm pissed. Now I have to put all these curtains back up and pull them down again. I already have my hands full. No courtesy call to say he was late because of phone issues. It's just a sign it's not meant to be. If you're on a time crunch and your schedule is thin don't count on them to have integrity in their appointment time. But maybe it was just a bad day for him.
