Wow! That was fast!! I am in the area for a bridal shower tomorrow and wanted to get a pedi. This was by far the fastest pedi I have ever had! I felt as though she couldn't wait to get me out the door. It was just before 6pm but people came in after me. I decided to hit the stopwatch on my phone. it was just over 18 minutes from start to finish (including my walk to the dryer) The massage seemed to be an effort for her. She went through the motions. It was not good at all. I will NOT be going back here. Do yourself a favor and don't go in. read more

Bad experience. Asked for acrylic manicure and explained why I don't like the look of my natural nails. I thought he understood. When it came time for the acrylic to be put on he put the absolute thinnest layer on and that was it. I wasn't asking for anything that I hadn't had before (my old person moved on from old place probably because it was going downhill). I left with nails that looked like what I came in with. Ugh! Also, I'm not sure they sterilize equipment between customers, he kept pulling tools out of a drinking type glass off the shelf and the glass had nothing in it but tools. Was a bit horrified when he was cutting my cuticles. read more

Not overly impressed. I went for a mani pedi (price was awesome - $38!) and everything was great until the polish application on my fingers. For some reason she completely rushed through it. She was moving so fast that she hit one of my fingers with her arm - she looked but didn't fix anything so I assumed there were no smudges. It wasn't until I got home that I saw there was. It does not show up well in the picture I've posted, but it was very obvious when you looked up close, which she did. Why would you not fix that if you saw it? She also applied the top coat unevenly and the skin around one of my thumbs was stained with polish because she wiped away so many mistakes. I may try them again - as I said, everything was great up until the polish application. read more

I used to go here all the time after work for a mani/pedi - I never have time anymore but I wish I did! Nice long massages with nail treatments, lots of colors, realistic about wait times. no complaints. read more

Love this place. They are extremely dedicated to providing for their customers in the most positive way they can. Although it gets busy the wait is never too bad and they don't rush you through your mani / pedi even if it's crowded. read more

Not impressed. It is a very narrow shop and was really crowded the day I was in there. There is no where to wait for your appointment except awkwardly standing in the doorway. I got a gel manicure and a standard pedicure both peeled within a week. My gel manicure began peeling in just a few days I think she put too many coats on because I have never had that happen so early. My pedicure started chipping after the first week. I think the nail polish was very old. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Don't go here. I was scolded because I had to trim the nails on my right hand since I play guitar, and the last time I visited she wouldn't make them any shorter. Then she proceeded to squeeze my fingers, pull on my arms and manipulate my hands into uncomfortable positions. The Dremel tool that they use heats up pretty quickly and if I pulled away because it was hot she would just yank my hand back. I did not leave a tip and I will not return. This woman is a nail Nazi. Unfortunately, I think this is the last time I will be back. Location is very convenient, salon is clean, and the staff is very friendly. that being said, the nail tech that I have had the past 3 times, has very badly cut my cuticles. To the point where they are still bleeding and sore after I leave the salon. She was very nice and apologetic, but too rough. She was buffing my skin, and looking at other people and talking, so she seemed distracted. After looking at my manicure, my nails are not filed evenly, and there is a big hair in my gel manicure. read more

I've been taking my elderly Mom here for the past 4 months and Mia is extremely helpful and always makes her feel comfortable. I always call on short notice and they always make room for MOM. They also give very good 10 minute back and shoulder massages. read more

Mai, the owner, is wonderful. I think the bad experience some other people have had here was from other employees, hopefully temporary ones. Mai is meticulous, careful and clean. I have been going to her for months and am always pleased. She gives great back, neck and shoulder massages, 5 or 10 minutes, hard or soft, while your nails dry. That's the best kind of multitasking - hands and back simultaneously. read more

It is beautiful, clean and has all new equipment. Mai is by far the best manicurist in metrowest. The spa pedicures are pure bliss and includes 20 minutes of relaxing massage. Your feet have never been so pampered! Fashion Nails is open 7 days a week, accepts all major credit cards and also offers waxing. I can't recommend it enough! read more

Mai has been taking care of my hands and feet for over 10 years- her mani-pedi is perfection EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Considering the way that I abuse my hands (through my work) her manicures really last- and when I stretch the time between appointments and my nails are a mess she never makes me feel bad; she is always gracious- and don't even get me started on her massages- they are legendary! I just had a wonderful experience at Fashion Nails. I can't believe that I've lived in Natick and only just found it! They were busy when I got there, but I only had to wait 5 min for my gel manicure. They've got a great selection of colors and only charge $25! Mai did a wonderful job, and while you wait for final gel to dry she gave me a complimentary shoulder massage for about 5 min that was fabulous! I will absolutely come back, I highly recommend! read more

Had a great experience. Enjoyed my pedicure with a fabulous massage and feel that it was a great deal at $33. The woman who did my nails was professional and nice. The only thing I though was a little strange was the fact that after picking out my color, I was advised I needed to pay $4 more for OPI because it lasts longer. Was I suppose to get up part way through to pick and inferior product? Might come back if I am in a jam but on the fence. read more

I just left the "newly managed" fashion nails. I had gel nails removed and a manicure with no polish. I asked the girl (who never introduced herself) to please cut them very short and shape them slightly square. My nails are not only rounded but they are not even and still too long. I also still have gel in some spots. The towel that she had me put my hands on had a huge hair on it and also someone else's nail clippings. I had to ask her to change it. They was no massage she just 'wiped' lotion on me. I get that Kim's salon was no frills but at least you could count on your nails looking great when you left. The owner did make an effort to welcome me to her knew place but didn't introduce herself. I would not go back. I also feel like I wasted $16 dollar and 45 minutes. Very disappointing:( read more

I've been here a few times and have had experiences on both ends of the spectrum. My last visit has helped me make the decision to move on. This was the first time I noticed and realized that they do not clean their tools, other than wiping them down with the towel they just used to wipe down your legs. The prices are reasonable and decent. But your actual service depends on who you get. I was getting a pedicure - and when shown the menu I selected a spa pedicure. The tech used brushes on my toes to clean them (I guess) but the tools actually hurt my toes. The treatment itself went very quickly - filing, cuticles. But they completely skipped the scrub and dead skin removal - and the quickly proceeded to to the leg massage - there was no scrub on the legs nothing. So the leg massage was good! She did it for awhile, but it consisted of the technician rubbing oil on my legs. In this case my tech was focused on what was happening on the tv. I couldn't wait to get out of he chair. Part of a pedicure is taking off the dead skin on your feet. Like I had said earlier in my review I've had pretty varied experiences here but I think this was just what I needed to find a new salon. read more
