Fast Eddie's diner is a hidden gem! This was my grandpa's favorite place to eat breakfast, so I was really happy, but also bittersweet, to come back for breakfast this morning. The menu has plenty of offerings, and I decided to go with an omelette. There are several sides to choose from, but I went with the hashbrowns and the toast. Everything came out super quick, and the staff are so friendly and personable! I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is delicious, and comes in really big portions. I will definitely say, though that the prices are a little bit higher than what I remember, which is understandable given the current climate, but be prepared to spend a little extra money. It's worth it!

So on the front door before I even get into this place it has a sign stating that they are the best burger 2026 from the restaurant guru. I do not know who the restaurant guru is but man this guy needs to get out a little bit more. So I ordered the mushroom burger with extra crispy fries. I got to see the burger was seriously bland. There was no seasoning although the burger was big and I'll give them that. However, it was just playing ordinary like you put ground beef on a flat top cooked it up and served it up with some vegetables and a bun. The fries were equally bland and had a frozen taste to them. I've been to this place plenty of times for breakfast and it's been really good and I was actually going to have that again until I saw the sign on the door which was like a flashing red alert. When I think of the best burgers in Phoenix I'm thinking the truck box or the original hamburger works or other places like that I'm not thinking about this place. Now a caveat is that there are really a lot of good things on this menu that I have had so one bad meal should not ruin years of having come here for breakfast or fish or prime rib as they have a lot of good stuff here but man they got to work on that whole best hamburger thing or take it down off the door.

Another fantastic breakfast. Food is always fantastic and healthy portions. Ambience is old school and service never disappoints

Support Local: My first time here and it was well worth it. We drove from Scottsdale to meet friends who were in the area heading up north. The food is delicious, homemade, and well prepared. The restaurant is airy, comfortable, and oh so clean. The owners and staff are welcoming, friendly, and engaging. We had such a wonderful meal and visit. I highly recommend and will make a point of returning when I am in the valley.

We decided to head over from Surprise to get so breakfast. We like to look for a local spot and after passing a few spots that were ridiculously busy we found Fast Eddie's Diner. I was surprised to see it pretty empty. We were greeted right away and I loved the old school music playing. Vibe is a bit Sun City breakfast vibe to me with a flair of diner. Booths were comfortable and I loved that they had their condiments up off the table and screwed a bit higher up on the wall so a family can actually fit all their food comfortably. Our waitress was great and we had our food in no time. I ordered the bacon and eggs with pancakes and a side of sourdough toast. We also ordered the bog breakfast I can't remember what it was called specially but came with sausage, three eggs, hash browns and a side of gravy for the biscuits. Everything came out so fast. Hash browns were cooked great and a crispy top. Toast was good and bacon crisp. The pancakes were amazing! Fluffy, sweet and oh so good. They made my entire meal. Prices were fair and food good. It is your diner type food. If you're looking for fancy flair this isn't your jam. Great stop.

Very nice place. Great food service is also very good. Reminds me of an old diner from the 50's. Biscuits and gravy is pretty good too.

I got the chili Relleno omelette and my husband got the chicken Tinga omelette and both were excellent. I got one of their danish to go. Oh, I put the Ranchero sauce that goes on the chili relleno omelette on the side because I don't like food that's saucy. Second -- CASH ONLY There is a Hawaiian inspiration/theme at the The OBH mixed with mexican flavors -- basically if you like a lot of meat with your breakfast then come here. When looking at other people's plates the portions looked very large -- the prices are average -- not cheap but not over the top. I did see someone with a cinnamon roll that looked pretty delicious. My mom had been here one other time and got the cinnamon roll pancakes, which she loved (and why we are here today) -- Nothing was speaking to me on the menu so I just ordered the classic OBH pancakes. I would give them about a 5/10 on the pancake scale. Also they didn't have real maple syrup even to purchase for extra -- they say their syrup is a maple syrup blend -- it wasn't full on plastic but it wasn't real maple syrup. I also ordered a side of scrambled eggs with cheddar -- it was a little runny and overall just average. The coffee was rank -- I would give it a 2/10. Our server was very friendly as was all of the other staff -- that is why I hate to only give 3 stars because it is a great local spot. When we left (around 9am) there was quite a long wait -- so you know it is very popular

Such a tasty choice and the perfect addition to the meal. Great service, delicious food, and a lovely breakfast experience. Thank you, Arely, for taking such good care of us. The interior is pretty long with a large number of seating inside the building so we had no trouble getting seated right away by the hostess. We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling. Prices weren't too bad for what we ordered and was able to take our mind off of the rather long wait to get helped. Not sure if we'll come back to this particular location again, but it was nice trying the restaurant out another time.

The reason i'm updating my review to three stars is because there is absolutely no enforcement of the 21+ rule at the adult pool. While taking a night swim on our last night, we witnessed two teenagers openly fighting and throwing f bombs at a guest who was trying to ask them to not leave their little sister alone in the pool while they cared more about their stupid tik tok dance.
