Took my watch band in to have it resized. It was done quickly and it was friendly service!

I have never been spoken to this poorly in my entire life. I dropped off a pendant on Friday just to have them set a stone that had fallen out. I had gotten a stone set here previously for about $25 or 30$ and it was great. For this one he quoted me $49 to set the stone but then told me that the prongs were weak and to strengthen them it would $100. For a 36$ necklace. He then tried to back track and say oh well that stone is worth more you wouldn't get it for that price now (bought in December on amazon). I opted just to set it and he said he'd do it for 35$. Cool. Picked it up the next day, everything beautiful. And asked the lady about a warranty and she said yes for 30 days. Cool. Even wore it out of the store. Went about my night and went to take my necklace off 5 HOURS LATER and the stone is missing. AFTER 5 HOURS. Went back today as they were closed Sunday and jeweler that did the work wasn't there. All I wanted was my 35$ back. The lady told me to come back and talk to him because he'd be there around 5 today. He calls me back while I'm still in the freakin parking lot of the mall and tells me that he'll replace the stone for free (cool!) ONLY IF I pay to have the prongs strengthened. WHAT. YOU HAVE A 30 DAY GUARANTEE. NOT A 5 HOUR GUARANTEE. I politely declined and said I just wanted me 35$ back. He then started to tell me that he didn't have to call me and he shouldn't have because I didn't listen to him in the first place and he shouldn't have called me and the only reason he didn't did was that he felt bad but he doesn't anymore. I was in to this location a few weeks back, a gentleman by the name of Enrique was so helpful to me. Not only did he help me get what I was looking for but he defintely made my experience at this plave a very pleasant one to the point where I have told many of my friends about it and I'm going back to get me some batteries for my watches.. ENRIQUE NEW what I needed n he provided such an excellent level of customer service care that you do not find in many places nowadays ! Customer service is the one thing that will either make me or break me. That will determine whether I continue to frequent that place or not. I had heard about this place from a friend but had no idea what it was all about. It was time to buy the wife a gift for her birthday (when I'm confused I go with jewelry). I went to fast fix with a small budget. The help there was great. Did not feel like I was being pushed to buy a certain thing or anything at all for that matter. They were very patient with me and my confused state of mind of what to buy. Finally I walked out of there with a nice gift for my wife and a nice watch for me. Me and my Fiance are getting married in November. My Fiance's father is no longer with us and he wanted to use one of his dad's ring as his wedding ring. The ring had a lot of scratches and the sliver was tarnished. I went to a few other jewelry cleaning and repair shops and was told i'd have to get the ring replated and the tiger eye stone in the middle would have to be taken out and most likely be cracked. My Fiance was a little heartbroken that it wouldn't be the same stone as his dad had. Luckily we were in the mall and stopped by "Fast Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs". Right away the man told us it does not need to be replated and he will not take out the tiger eye cause it will damage the stone. My Fiance's ring was done in two days, and we couldn't believe how good it looked. Seeing the look on his face when he saw what an AMAZING job they did on his dad's ring was priceless. I also had some diamond earrings and a diamond ring my grandmother gave me, which we got the backs replaced on the earrings and then he cleaned the ring free of charge. I took my mothers bee pin over to these people I had a conversation with them as to what I needed to have done to the pin I wanted the pin part removed and I wanted a small bale put under one of the bee's wings and I wanted to have the bee steam cleaned I talked with a woman named Lisa and it was made clear to her as what had to be done she said it wouldnt be a problem and that I would hear from her the following day with the estimate. The following day nothing had happened so my mother started calling these people about her bee and no one knew what was going on and we kept getting promised a phone call back which never happened so finally yesterday 3/25 the bee was allegedly ready so I took my mother down to this store and everything was wrong they put a large ugly bale on the top of the wing instead of where they were told to do so and the bee had been buffed or something and it was actually flattened out and the silver plating was stripped off of the bee. The lady named Becky said that their jewler was a miricle worker and that he would be in shortly and he could resolve the problem and fix the bee almost 2 hours later of waiting and several promises from Becky that her jewler would be in this person never showed up and I left the store with my mother and her ruined bee and my mother was crying. If you value your jewlery do not go to these people they are a large mistake and will ruin your beloved jewlery. read more

We always take our watches here to have the batteries replaced and the staff is super friendly. Recently a stone was loose in my wedding ring so we took it in and Enrique did an amazing job building up the prongs and making it beautiful again! They gave us a really good deal to rebuild all the prongs on the three stones to prevent future issues too. $300 and it was done in store in two hours. Highly recommend this place. read more

My first experience with the jeweler was back in May 2011. My husband bought me a stone while on a trip and didn't know how I would want it mounted in a ring, pendant, etc. I walked into the store and was immediately assisted by the designer himself! I spent at least an hour with him discussing what I wanted and finally we drew up what I wanted. I could not have been more pleased with my ring!! It was better than expected and if I could post a photo I would! It's beautiful and has gotten me many complements. Just yesterday I took my wedding band in. I had our wedding bands made in Texas by a jeweler almost 5 years ago. It had a special brushed finish that had been worn down over the years and being white gold, had began to have that yellow tint. I asked the jeweler If he could re-dip my ring and if it would be possible to redo the brush finish in the the ring. He said yes and would have it in an hour, so I left it. When I picked up my ring I was amazed!! It was absolutely perfect! It looked exactly like it did when we bought our bands. Now I will be taking my husbands band in for them to do his! Nice enough guy gave me a repair quote of $200 then offered me a first time customer price of "only $150". I felt that was still high since it was a simple repair. I walked over to the jeweler just next door and got it done in a couple of days for $50. Shop around! read more

My wedding ring finger had gotten a tad bigger and I had it sized by Ben. He is well versed in his trade. He was very pleasant and congenial. First time We've been here before. You know, you develop a relationship with your jeweler/craftsman, as we had with our previous one who passed away. He took it up a half size, after we settled on a fair price. We had another ring sized; which was tricky because it had several channels of tension set stones. His work was spot on and he also polished it. A new battery was placed in our watch. Two links were also removed from the metal band. Also the prongs holding a large stone on another piece was tightened. All this was done in less than an hour! We were only charged for the sizing and battery. The other adjustments/tweaking were not additional. I appreciate that it was fast but most of all that it was done well. I will go there again without hesitation. read more

I gave this business 1 star, only because they were open. I went in to get a price quote to have two small ladies gold rings resized. They get zero stars overall for trying to price gauge, and inflate their prices. I was greeted fairly soon upon entering the fix-it shop by the manager Shaun, who also waited on me. I had one ring, size 5 that I neeed resized to 7.5. I also had 1 ring, size 6 that needed to be resized to size 8. Based on some reviews I thought that coming to the fix--it shop would be less expensive than going to a regular jewelry store to have this work done. Shaun quoted me $65.00 to resize the size 6 ring, and $125.00 to resize the size 5 ring. Total $195.00. I told him that I thought the quote seemed high because my gf had previously received a quote to resize the size 6 ring for $30. My objective was to have both rings sized locally if the price was reasonable. Fix-it Shop then quoted me $165.00 to resize both rings. Enough said. I took my rings to Jade Jewelers located on Mountain Ave in Upland who resized both rings for $65.00 total. The store owners, Kim & Pete, were upstanding honest business people. They treated me fairly and honestly. You decide for yourself. I'll never return to Ontario Mall Fix-It Shop for anything. read more
