I came here to get a ring repaired and I was blown away by the speed and service! I brought in a ring that was given to me by my grandmother, something that is absolutely precious to me. The ring had onyx and diamond setting with a gold band. Inside the band were two gold balls placed there to size the ring down, (my grandmother has much smaller hands than I do). I have taken this ring many places to try to get the ring sized up but they all told me because of the Onyx it would be impossible to size the ring up, so I've left it as is. I decided to have the gold balls removed to at least make the ring large enough to fit on my pinky to wear to my sisters wedding. I brought the ring in and they said not only could they remove the balls but they could even size the ring up large enough for me to wear on my ring finger! I was amazed I've taken this ring so many places and so many people have told me no. And even more they could do it in a few hours! I am so grateful that I was able to find someone to fix my ring, and that I will be able to wear my grandmother's ring to my sisters wedding, thank you so much! I will say it was a little bit expensive for my taste. If I did not have an emotional connection to the ring, and I did not have an event that was so time sensitive I probably would have negotiated the price a little more carefully. Be careful with engravings. When I initially went and got quoted the owner of the store told me that what I wanted engraved on the back of a watch was completely doable and would come out great. Today when I picked up my watch it was not great. The engraving was sloppy and lopsided. I would have appreciated a phone call from someone to tell me what I wanted was either to difficult to do after all or that it would be risky to try. Instead it looks like whoever did it said "well I'll give it a try." I would not recommend this store for engravings to anyone at this point. The only upside was the extremely kind girl who worked the counter, "Miriam". The owner really needs to do a better job with quality control. read more

I can share a similar experience as some have shared regarding pricing. I took my watch in and I get a quote to change a battery for 30 bucks. WTH 30 bucks I bit my tongue and went forward with it because I needed the damn battery. And when I came back I get told about a rusty screw wth are you serious? Well they swap it out and say "typically we charge 15 but we will charge you 5" that is stupid honestly so you do work to crap people do not approve? What's the freaking deal. Don't trip BBB is gonna be happy to hear about their business practices. I hope this spot gets shit down because the mall doesn't need shitty businesses and people. read more

The service is always good when you visit this but I've been gone it to them for years at because they have facilities on military apples and because you always were given a military discount until my last visit for whatever reason the young lady at the register appear to not want to give me the military discount and she had an attitude I'm chalking it up to perhaps a bad day.we shall see . I think that most don't understand why we are given the military discount , it isn't because we don't want to pay full price .. it's our country's way of thanking us for making the The sacrifice that so few are willing to make. First off, I would have given a one star review but luckily, the lady was very nice to my girlfriend and I. We came in looking to get a few links removed from my new watch band. She was helpful and gave us a good deal. Second, come here if you wish. I cant tell you what to do. Im just sharing my experience. Everything seemed perfect until the younger man doing the link removal decided to give me attitude and kept on suggesting the way I like to wear my watch is too tight and that I wouldn't like it....even though I brought in a watch Ive had for 5 years to show them how I would like the watch to fit (he kept on ignoring it). I like to wear my watches with very little play as possible. He ignored all my attempts to explain how I dont like it loose. The more I turned down his suggestions, the worst the customer service got. Long story short, I wont be coming back. BTW, Its been about a week since I got my watch adjusted that supposedly is "too tight" and "wont fit" and wore it as a daily and guess what? not one bit a pain or discomfort...imagine that. read more

Scam artists. Montclair and West Covina. A battery at each 1 month apart. Both experiences total bull. No warranty claim special gasket. Ha, watch store around the corner in Montclair laughed at the delicate gasket procedure comment doing the replacement on the spot and $10 cheaper. The West Covina store flat out lied saying the less expensive battery had no warranty. The person who responds to their reviews on the site they deal with, cleared that up. EVERY battery they sell has at least a one year warranty. They need to stop hiring liars. read more

Went in on 12-9-16 received a quote to re-tip my ring from Stacie for 65.00 I told her I was on my way out so I would return another day, she gave me a paper with the quote. I happen to go today 12-17-16 and I didn't have the paper with me and now was quoted 100.00 because she claims it was a one day offer. I told her she never said that so she offered to do it for 85.00, I walked out. Came home and have the quote and no where does it say it was a one day deal. I specifically stated that I was on my way out so if it was a one day deal why would she put it in writing. 12/19 - In response to your response I do believe people can make mistakes.... But I made it very clear that I wasn't coming back same day that is why she gave it to me in writing. I feel that because it was her error she should have honored the quote given. UPDATE This Fast Fix is under new ownership. I've been a patron a few times since the new owners took over, and each time has been an unpleasant and expensive experience. They are now strictly-business and charge high fees. They even charge for ticky-tack extras that no self-respecting jewelry repair would. The front desk people are pretentious and snippy. You've got to be kidding me.... I just called to see how much a simple bail for a charm would cost me. If you don't know what a bail is, it's the little dangle piece to a charm which hangs from a necklace. The lady tells me that they start at $35! $35 for a small piece of metal! I wanted to find a place nearby to get my watch's battery changed. I thought i was walking into one of the typical fast fix stores but honestly I had the best customer service experience ever at this place. First, they're very friendly and welcoming, they offered me water just because it was very hot outside. Second the staff is highly knowledgeable, though I thought it's just a matter of changing the battery, I found out that it had to be a certain brand so it would last longer. I came in for a simple battery replacement on my watch, the guy right away tries to up sale me on some insurance for my watch.The guy is very obnoxious and pushy about it. He ends up charging me $18 dollars for the battery replacement. In the process he damaged my leather strap and did not inform me of it. I confronted him about the damage explaining to him that I would have appreciated if he had at least informed me that he had damaged my watch. I went in in December 2018 to get my ring cut off to the location my ring was purchased as it was cutting my circulation and they were not able to do do it for numerous reasons kept telling me to return on certain days and so forth and when I went to fast fix they were able to do it that same day at no charge they said it was a Christmas gift.
